Extremely terrible service. I had ordered via phone 30mins before and when i arrived the place was empty and my order had no been started. Despite that , the girl in the front had the audacity to answer the phone and chat with a friend while she made my order. read more

amazing service!! alondra was working she was quick, dessert was so good! recommend this spot whenever your craving something sweet!

We got the lava cake and the crepe with dark Belgian chocolate, strawberry and ice cream. The crepe was soooo good with the dark chocolate which wasn't too bitter. The lava cake was not as lava as expected and too soft for my liking, but still delicious. The ice creams were meh compared to the crepe. read more

A bit hidden away and if you're heading there using the Waze app, prepare to get lost for a few minutes. It's a quaint place that looks like it might've been a nail salon at some point in its distant past. The store is filled with miniatures and chocolates from locations outside of California. Namely, chocolates from other countries are here. They have made certain desserts from these chocolates or have drizzled stuff on to crepes, waffles, or pancakes from fondues featured at the front of the store. The chocolate desserts were heavy, like I was eating stuff that was sure to be a hospital bill down the road if I kept going there. I had the Creppucini, and honestly the chocolate layers on it made my pores start to feel long they were clogging. I'm sure some important aortal valves were getting blocked just by looking at the stuff. It was too much. Sure, it was a big plate that probably was meant to share, but the richness of it was off the charts, but not in a level of quality that warranted it. It was like eating a giant sized burrito with every sort of manufactured-to-hell type of ingredient in it. Yeah, it'll fill you up, but sometimes when you do it with the wrong stuff, it can be a bad thing. 3 stars. If it's your thing, it's an option. But for so many dessert options with restaurant meals nowadays, you can probably skip this place. read more

This is one of my favorite dessert spots ever! If you haven't been here prepare to indulge ! My favorite is the waffle topped with Belgium chocolate / cookie butter/ and the lotus cookie crumbles. So, I loved the idea of this place - anything with chocolate in the name can catch my attention. We popped in after dinner in Newport for a sweet treat and some coffee. The good - they have chocolate fountains running, and fresh crepes being made all the time, plus all sorts of coffee drinks. The not so great - the prices are HIGH, and from the looks of my fruit skewer and the crepes that were delivered before mine, everything is basically just drowned in chocolate... who knew there was such a thing as too much chocolate?? I paid about $5+tax for a skewer with three strawberries and two chunks of banana on it - and it was drowning in chocolate, but the chocolate wasn't my favorite. Maybe I got them on an off day, but this place just missed the mark for me. read more

Chocolate Bash - Chocolate fondues! - Chocolatiers & Shops Near Me - Newport Beach, California

This place was pretty good but honestly REALLY chocolatey. I mean that. I got the waffle on a stick & my friend tried the crepe that's basically a cookie butter/Nutella crepe. It took us forever to finish because the chocolate was so decadent and so creamy! But definitely good. We also got strawberries with it which made it taste better. It's definitely on the pricier side which I didn't really understand why cause it's not anything special just basic chocolate items but then again it is Newport so everything is overpriced. It's located on the peninsula in an area that's not very well lit so I had to google maps walk there. You'll probably have to street park! Not a lot of parking in the complex unless you come at a time that's not very busy. read more

Worst crepe I ever tried, we couldn't even finish it. The layers were uncooked and you can tell from the pictures there are white spots. If you know what a crepe looks like then you know it's supposed to look brownish from the inside. I don't understand how a store like this can mess this up. The staff looked like they were untrained but the customer service was good overall. They were nice and smiling and I didn't see anything wrong coming from them. I think management needs to get their act together. Under no circumstances whatsoever should you leave a chocolate fountain uncovered. Speaking of chocolate, the crepe was drowned with it and tasted way too sweet. I had two bites and gave the rest to my buddies. They couldn't even finish it and it ended up in the trash. I think most of the reviews on here are not real because they def don't represent the true rating of this place. read more

Disappointed by this place. Ordered delivery and they got both mine and my boyfriends order wrong. Amazing treats and Exceptional customer service Brennen and Mahmoud were awesome and answered all my questions.

The workers seemed so unhappy working night shifts. No greetings as my friend and I entered the shop. My friend bought me a Belgian hot chocolate (large size).. He asked for marshmallows on it. As, he saw it in containers. The worker told us they don't have marshmallow. Lies.. Seriously, why was it on display then? It made no sense. She told us that it was just for decorations, as she was too lazy to just add it for us. She couldn't get her lazy ass to walk over and open the container.. Gess. What a unhappy worker. My large hot chocolate was $4,75 total. I should had went somewhere else. Starbucks could had done better. read more
