The store is filled with anime figurines, kawaii items, K-pop merch, stationery, and so many adorable finds. She picked out a super cute hat with ears that actually move, which was a huge hit. Everyone working there was very nice and helpful, and the shop itself was clean, bright, and well organized. I'd absolutely recommend this spot to anyone who loves anime, kawaii culture, or just really cute things. We'll definitely be back!

I recently took them to this shop to choose a treat and used it as a bargaining tool to get Korean bbq afterwards. We spent .. a LOT ... of time checking out every single aisle, and examining every single item so they could each choose a treat. My three-year old chose a little plastic pink bunny that holds (great quality) hair ties. My seven-year old chose My Melody washi tape. If I had no self control, I would have picked every single one of their pens, a Cinnamaroll claw clip, BTS pillow, and ALL the stickers. Luckily I looked at all the prices and stopped myself -- you can get a lot of the same things at Miniso for a better price these days. This is truly the place to get a hit of dopamine.

After a short amount of time we were approached by one of the owners in case we needed assistance. I did not need assistance and neither did my wife. Still, we appreciate the offer. I saw one outfit I liked, but my wife doesn't wear skirts or dresses. Something she picked up from her mother. Nevertheless, I liked the dog picture, but will have to imagine someone else wearing in my mind. Guess I will put it on one of my characters, but I digress. There are other items I this store and I only got a glimpse of what is sold here. Still, the staff was friendly and I will pay another visit to this store. I might just find something I could use next time.

I ventured in and was wooed to make several lovely purchases by the very attentive shopkeeper! One cool thing is that we discovered we have variants of the same surname! (My husband is half Korean.) It's a relatively uncommon Korean name, so that was pretty neat. I probably wouldn't have bought anything (the items were a bit pricey for my income), but Kum (the nice shopkeeper) gave me discounts after I asked if there were any sale items. I realized that you can definitely barter a bit, especially if it's your first time. They want to make you a repeat customer! I was surprised by the pretty leather handbags. They were a bit too expensive for me, but my eye was caught. They have a variety of colors and styles (more unique than you'll find at TJ Maxx). The clothing was interesting. A lot of the styles were not quite for me (intentionally loose blouses with pretty involved/sparkly patterns), but there were a few that I absolutely loved. I ended up getting two BEAUTIFUL flowy skirts, of very good quality. It's so hard to find delicately made, modest, beautifully worked skirts like these. I bought a blouse that has a lovely pattern (it's a fabric that Kum assured me is sought-after in Korea). I bought the loveliest little tulle scarf (they had a variety of colors...could have bought them all). Kum was constantly checking on me as I was trying things on and brought me tops and bottoms based on what I'd picked out. As a former sales associate for a women's boutique, I can tell you that this strategy WORKS and is actually appreciated by customers who just want a little encouragement (and a little pampering, if I'm being honest!). She even brought me some bold kitten heels...that cracked me up! But I was actually considered some black-and-white striped ones...and I never in a million years would have tried them on without her suggestion. I also bought something I never thought I'd buy...stylish tennis shoes. They're absolutely adorable (see the photo I posted). They were thoughtfully displayed in the fitting room stall (brilliant marketing move, putting attractive handbags and a variety of shoes in there to catch your eye!). They look like they're emulating a designer (I'm not in the know enough to know which one) and are super cute. Kum asked me how I'd found her shop. I had seen a few Korean boutiques while getting amazing authentic Korean comfort food, and did a simple search on Apple Maps for "Korean apparel." There are several other boutiques in the area which I look forward to perusing. She said she would love to attract more visitors who aren't Korean. I told her that I agreed, that I thought lots of ladies would love her store. She asked if I could leave a review and I enthusiastically assented! Visit this store if you want to spend an afternoon imagining what it would be like to shop in Korea! Don't worry...prices are displayed in USD, not Korean won. ;) There's something for everyone here, and I bet you'll be asked where you found your purchase!

Yes it serves a purpose, but a lot of stores here aren't all that super. Are there other strip malls like this? Absolutely. Taco Bell does good business. As for traffic, definitely be prepared for defensive driving. A lot of parking spot cutting seems to be a trend. Also I don't like leaving 236 from here, as the congestion and lights set up isn't helpful with moving vehicles. I wish the development could offer more. Yes there's a few restaurants and a laundromat. For me that means don't need to go here. Maybe others view it more favorably.

So out of respect, instead of just walking back in to shop, we asked the person behind the counter whether we can still come in and purchase blankets. She shook her hand at us, as if telling us no. We didn't want to push it and just left. This was extremely disappointing because we drove an hour to get there, knowing they were open till 8pm. But instead they tell us they close at 7pm. I particularly liked the long puffy goldenrod colored winter coat and the thick infinity scarf - most of the scarves I've run into are so thin - I love the extra volume! He was very helpful and pleasant to be around. Much of the books are in the Korean Language, but there are many books that have both English and Korean writing. I saw comic books with Asian spreading the word of God, but doing it in a way kids through adults can understand. Oh, did I mention Hello Kitty too? Hello Kitty watches, dishwasher sets and even a sleeping bag to name a few things. If business doesn't get better for the owner here, I eventually will end up closing the store forever. The owner does sell jewelry too. Especially if you are into holly crosses. There maybe something in here for you. Seek and you shall find...

Now it's a Korean establishment with books exclusively in Korean so if you are not fluent, you will be a fish out of water. This would be a great place to shop for your Korean parents, in-laws, or kids. The owners are extremely kind as well and provide excellent service if you can adequately request it in our native language.
