Eventhough I told the Dr I needed extra novacaine, he didn't listen. He was so rough with the 2nd injection he caused me to scream with pain. I've been to plenty of specialist, so I know how rough he was. I had to argue with person responsible for insurance claim because he insisted insurance wouldn't cover any of procedure. They also wouldn't bill both my insurances. Turns out DeltaDental paid some of it so I had been billed almost $300 more. I had to call & get reimbursed. They only sent me part of amount so I had to call again! Then I had to submit another claim to Humana Dental when I found out they covered the extraction. The check for $436.77 incorrectly sent to Seattle Oral & not Mr since I paid for procedure out of pocket. Seattle Oral cashed check, never notifying me. Now I'm trying to get in touch with whoever handles this, after sending email, voice-mail, speaking with reception. I was told I'd hear back this morning & haven't yet. They've now kept my money 3x! I wonder how much money they've kept from other people​​

My dentist didn't have any space for wisdom tooth extractions until next Friday and I was referred to Summit. They were able to make space for me to be seen the next day since I was in a lot of pain. I was super nervous and expecting the worst, but the staff and Dr. Cottam took great care of me. My IV went in without issue (I'm a hard stick), chatted with the nurse for a few more seconds, then, to my surprise, I was awake, they'd already finished and let me know that everything went great. Dr. Cottam gave me a call once I got home to make sure I was doing fine. I'm super happy with my experience, so glad to not be in pain. My out of pocket cost ended up being a bit lower than what I was quoted. I've got two more wisdom teeth that will need to go, so will be getting it done here and also not waiting until they fall out of my head to do it. For anyone apprehensive about oral surgery, this was a great practice to go to!

Dr Lin was an extremely empathic and personable dentist who knows what he's doing. My teeth are a bit weird and I have a few baby teeth. So it's difficult to have a plan on what to do. Dr Lin gave me all the options he could, including one where I didn't get my teeth removed. (Which is a great sign he's not in it for the money). But in the end we decided it was best to remove 3 teeth. He prescribed antibiotics for the day before to prevent any preventable complications. Surgery day, they were amazing and made me feel very comfortable. Even gave me a blanket! And 3 different types of anestesia (bc I hate needles). I also requested to keep my teeth and they packaged it in a sterilized bag! I made sure to ice well the first day. And to be honest, I barely had any swelling on the 2nd and 3rd day. I also had very little to no pain. I was starting to eating solid crunchy foods by day 3. Dr Lin was a very gentle and skilled oral surgeon. Highly recommend for anyone looking for wisdom teeth surgery!

My regular dentist was out of the country on vacation. A Google search of dentists in the Renton Highlands directed me to Dr. Salazar's practice. I telephoned their office and explained my woe to Jennifer, to which she scheduled me see the doctor that very morning. ( thank you, Jennifer) Upon his examination of my X-ray and an inspection, Dr Salazar determined I was in need of a root canal. The team at Highlands Family Dental Center not only recommended a specialist ( East Hill Endodontics ) but they actually telephoned them on my behalf and scheduled my appointment for me ( this was a level of customer service I'd not experienced from any physician's office previously). The root canal completed ( to note, if you are in need of a root canal, I highly recommend East Hill Endodontics), I was then quickly scheduled for the crown prep appointment. This appointment was long ( as crown preps tend to be ) yet it was also quite interesting, watching Dr. Salazar and his assistant, Emily, work in tandem, preparing the tooth, molding the crown and creating the temporary. Their actions together were a very well rehearsed choreography. Fast forward just a few weeks and I am enjoying potato chips as I type this review. My dental coronation ( crown) complete, no discomfort, no pain. I am pleased and impressed with Dr. Salazar and his team. They were empathetic to my plight and went above and beyond to help me.
