I have known Dr Judy since he bought the practice from Dr Lind. He has always been very professional UNTIL something is not in his favor. He was set up to take out all of my autistics son's teeth and make dentures. We did all the denture prep. When it was near f the time we had scheduled for the extractions none of the prep was done on his side. The cardiologist was not contacted as told would be done. The insurance issues were not addressed until last min. None of the clearance had been taken care of. My son had a massive heart attack 4 months earlier. At the last minute we did get scheduled with another dentist that took his insurance and knew exactly what to do. He was an oral surgeon. So, teeth were pulled. Dentures did NOT fit then and a yr and a half later. To this day that flop right out. I tried to comunicate by phone calls to Dr Judy without any response from him. I wrote a email and he never replied. He did not communicate with me at all. To this day my son has teeth that was paid for in full without insurance. The teeth are 100% useless. They literally flop out immediately after trying to glue in. During all this time my son does not participate at family dinners at someone's house or a restaurant. He is too embarrassed to take his teeth out and eat in front of others. He will go but just sits in conversation while others enjoy their meal. Once we get home he will sit down and eat. This issue has also made him gain at least 45lbs. He lives on noodle or rice dishes so he can gum the food. Due to his massive heart attack he can't keep carrying this weight. Being autistic through all of this has caused a LOT of mental breakdowns. Drastic change is not good at all. Dr Judy even said during his follow ups that another pair needed to be made. When someone pays out of pocket for a product they pay for a product that works. These DO NOT and can very easily be proven. Dr Judy needs to be professional about this and make it right. read more

Would not recommend!!! Unfortunately even though the dentist himself is super nice, like super super nice, they have no idea what they're doing. My boyfriend came to get two fillings and they injected him with anesthesia in the WRONG area and he felt everything. Then they had to try four more times and he continued to feel everything. He came home with a bleeding mouth and lips, it was awful! When he jumped because he felt the pain of them drilling into his gums they cut into his lip. Not to mention two fillings were $1400?! This office is incredibly over priced and I would not trust them to work on you. All the 5 star reviews are because some employees are not, but people are not realizing how much they're being over charged and how little the people who work here know about what they're doing. read more

Friendly and very helpful staff and Dr. Judy is an amazing dentist. Due to some dental injury as a young child, I have had my share of dentists and dental work in three different continents. I became Dr Judy's patient after my dentist of 40 years retired and I was not fond of the new administration/dentist. So, I looked for a new one and I was lucky to make my first visit with Dr. Judy. I found him to be very confident, knowledgeable, and experienced. Great communicator. He explained the procedure, the worst and the best outcome and his recommendations at the time. Dr. Judy and staff are the BEST Dentist I've ever had. Highly skilled, and he is compassionate and helps patients who have dental anxiety. He's made me laugh when I really didn't want to be in the chair. Also, he is just a great person to deal with - he is active in his community, genuinely concerned about his patients and also plays guitar which I thought was great. Dr. Brad Judy and his team are excellent. He is a staple on Mercer Island. We sent my mom to him because we thought her insurance covered cleanings 100%. We had a session, then it turns out we got billed by insurance. The front desk was very professional and considerate, and did a lot of research for us. We found insurance only partially covered it, so sadly we have to go somewhere else. We are very disappointed because we love Dr. Judy and his reception. We appreciate the top-notch service we received, and if insurance changes we will be back here for good! I would recommend this practice to anyone! read more

I feel lucky to have Dr. Judy as my dentist. Dentophobia is no fun. So many of the dentists I've seen in the past are cold and impersonal, or cloyingly friendly. Dr. Judy is gentle, warm, and connects with his patients. His office staff also exude warmth and competence. They are also humorous, and care to make patients feel at ease. Dr. Judy also makes his patient's concerns a top priority, and manifests this by making himself accessible and responsive in case of emergency. He is also a gentle touch and the office has state of the art equipment. Dr. Brad and his team are fantastic! My husband and I have been going for years. Dr. Brad has tons of integrity and is extremely knowledgeable. I presented with a couple of small cavities last year that he was happy to "watch". Recently went in for my exam, x-rays and cleaning and the cavities have mineralized. No longer an issue, yay! I just spent over 4 hours in the dental chair ( root canal, took off a crown, drilled out dental wothe decay and made a temporary crown, And re-inforced a thinning front tooth. I was completely comfortable the whole time. He gave me multiple options, explained everything he could do, but told me a "I was in charge". And told me what the insurance would cover and what I would be responsible for. I'm am NOT stoic when it comes to dental work so for me to say I Came home completely comforable, is a big deal!! Brad Judy in Mercer Island is the worst dentist I have even seen. He made multiple errors in determining my dental problems, and subsequently made wrong and rash decisions during my time with this terrible so-called dentist. He caused me months of pain and broken teeth, which was fixed elsewhere. He literarily broke my healthy teeth, and then offered to fix them while also charging me for his mistakes. On top of providing terrible dental care, him and his unprofessional and rude staff mixed up my insurance, and kept sending wrong claims to my insurance. They made me overpay for serval months and kept asking me for more money, until I checked with my insurance and it appeared that most of his benefit claims and invoices were false. After reaching out to his office multiple times to get a refund, I finally had to physically go to the office to get that refund, otherwise they would not return my money. Also, when one of his staff tested positive for Covid-19, he silenced all the staff about this matter to keep the office open. The dental treatment furniture and instruments in his office are are old, broken and dirty. He is all about extracting money from his patients without caring for them. He is not trustworthy at all. read more

Dr. Judy's office is extremely friendly and technologically forward. All of their equipment is state-of-the-art, including a computer monitor that allows you to see records and x-rays immediately. Louise is a really sweet hygenist and is very gentle with her chair-side manner and on my teeth. They are very good at keeping my dental health in the front of my mind and have drastically improved by teeth! I am going to miss Dr. Judy and his friendly staff! Give him some business! read more

After having a terrible experiences at other dentists, we decided to switch our family to Dr. Judy. The receptionist is pleasant and always helps me with any silly questions I have, she is always very patient with me. After being quoted several hundred dollars for a deep cleaning elsewhere, it turns out Dr. Brad was able to do it completely covered by our insurance. My husband came home smiling from ear to ear all day long after a cleaning at his office. 2 more cleanings later and he is good as new! We are so happy we switched. I went to see Dr Judy because of an aching tooth. Dr Brad gave me an honest and informative assessment of what was going on with my tooth. His assessment was thorough I really appreciated his honesty. The actual service was easy(for a dental visit) and relatively comfortable. My tooth is all fixed and it's better than it used to be. The only reason I gave 1 star is because of the new receptionist, Briona. This has nothing to do with the two dentists, Dr. Judy and Dr. Lind. I have been visiting this dental office since early 2008. I had some billing questions with Briona and she has been very rude and gave me inconsistent suggestions. After spending a lot of efforts in vain, I was charged extra that wouldn't occur if she had responsibly confirmed at the beginning. I have to say that Briona doesn't care of the patients' experience at all and I won't visit this dental office any more. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Judy for a year and a half. He is the best dentist I have ever had. His exams are throrough and he is a good listemer. My last appointment was an emergency due to pain in one of my teeth. He squeezed me into his schedule right away and corrected the problem in one visit. After the appointment he even gave me his personal cell number and said to call him over the weekend if the pain returned! His office staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Judy and his staff are the best! It is very difficult finding a good, honest, and compassionate dentist. Dr. Judy never rushes, and always takes the time to make sure it is right. If there is a problem, he will take care of it. He never tries to push unnecessary treatments, and goes over different options when necessary. I was disappointed in this dental office. When the Dr. Judy came to speak to me at the end of the appointment, he sat next to me instead of facing me, so I couldn't see him clearly. He did an unnecessary procedure (using a light to check for cancer) that is medically dubious. The office did remove the $30 charge from my bill when I questioned it. The equipment in the office seems old--the water used to rinse had a mouthwash flavor that the hygienist was unable to remove because the switch on the equipment wasn't working. read more

What a refreshing experience. Like most people I do not enjoy the dentist, but this place was great, staff was friendly and you could tell they enjoyed there work. And it didn't have that creepy dentist office smell that usually will hit you in the senses as soon as you walk in.
