Answered follow up questions quickly. He even worked with me on delivery as I had issues reserving the freight elevator in my building. The delivery guys were professional, careful, and courteous. I placed my order online a couple hours later and he had me scheduled for delivery Monday morning. Part of the reason their prices are so low is that they don't have a huge amount of inventory sitting in a showroom. This had me a little apprehensive since I wouldn't have a chance to try the chairs out first or see if I liked one of them in my house before buying 8. Tom offered to have his guys bring the chairs over, assemble one, and bring it in to see if I liked it. If I wasn't satisfied with how it looked in my dining room, he said he'd just take them all back, no problem. So that worked out great and put my mind at ease for the online purchase. The delivery process was also very smooth. They called in advance of heading over like Tom said they would, then assembled the chairs outside in the truck to avoid getting styrofoam bits all over my floor. I will definitely look to Dallas Furniture Online first for my future furniture needs.

But, boy, when that 1 out of 10 times hits, it's because I've found something really amazing at a fraction of the cost at the main store. For example, I paid thousands of dollars to the main store for furniture from the Tate Collection, and I found two more pieces to add to it at the outlet for around $200. This is high-quality, mid-century-modern furniture designed by this really awesome guy named Blake Tovin. The outlet's furniture might have minor wear and tear from being in a showroom or being returned by a customer. The sales staff ALWAYS points out any nicks or dings to me before I buy a piece. You can't return things to the outlet, so it's a demonstration of integrity that they want you to see what might be flawed, so that you aren't duped. Sometimes, however, there are absolutely no flaws, and you're buying something in perfect condition. I have been lucky in that regard. A bookshelf I bought had one scratch from where a sticker was stuck to it and had been scraped off. That scratch, still, would not have been discernible to me or someone walking by. Anyway, great sales staff and a great store for hunting for a bargain.

I ordered a living room of furniture three months ago from Crate and Barrel (Ali was my designer). The furniture was picked up a month ago (mid April) by Fragilepak - the company that Crate and Barrel uses to deliver the furniture. Since then, it's been a complete lack of communication. It's been a month since the furniture was picked up by the logistics company. And after 4 calls to the logistics company, they told me to have Crate and Barrel reach out to them to address the many issues with my order (damaged merchandise, lack of communication from Crate and Barrel) along with it just sitting in a warehouse for the last month. I've contacted Crate and Barrel multiple times over the past month (both via email and via phone). They've basically taken a hands' off stance and told me to deal with FragilePak. I'm absolutely livid with the crappy service from Ali and the team at Crate and Barrel. There is still no resolution as of today and nobody at Crate and Barrel is lifting a finger to fix this shit show.

At forty minutes before they close he refused to help us citing it was "too close to closing time" and to come back tomorrow if we really wanted to look. I was shocked. If I had my things for sale in this store I would be upset by that. Anyways, they lost a few customers that day. And we weren't the only ones. As we were coming into the store a woman, who seemed very upset, was walking out after an exchange with the same man.
