Met some friends for a dinner recently. It took nearly an hour for our food to arrive after ordering so that is the main reason for 3 stars. They did provide a beer for the hassle which was appreciated. I enjoyed the meal but someone in our party ordered mashed potatoes and there were chunks of hard potato remaining. It's a small town with limited options, overall the meal was good and I would give it another try if given the chance. read more

We picked the busiest time of day Saturday to grab food here, but it was worth it. The place was packed, but we were able to grab a small table in the front corner upon walking in. Our server was very friendly but moving quickly to get everyone taken care of. I went with her recommendation on the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was loaded with beef, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and cheese, and their homemade sweet potato fries were great. My son enjoyed his grilled chicken salad and fried mushrooms. My only negative is the lack of beers on tap. They offered 3 beers, but they did offer a decent selection of beers in bottle or can. read more

Been here a couple of times and always have had great food and service. The service is fairly fast even on their busy days. The portions are large (for example my pork tenderloin sandwich - see picture). I have also had their cowboy caviar, but sadly they were out of it this past weekend. The second we stepped inside this place the food smelled amazing. A smokey, bbq beef scent hung in the air and I knew I was in for a really good meal. I got the Black & Bleu burger and added applewood smoked bacon and it was amazing. Everyone else in the party we came in with was very pleased with their meals as well. Their draft beer selection wasn't huge but they did have 2 local brews on tap that were great! The service was very good and if you are looking to catch a game they have plenty of Tv's to watch the game. Overall, this is my new favorite place to eat in the area. Well done Chips! read more

I was really excited to try this bar. My family and I came on a Friday night and the bar was pretty empty. Our waitress took our drink order and never came back. We had a total of three different people attend to us which was confusing. They run a prime rib dinner meal for $17.95. My husband ordered medium rare and it was supposed to be 12 oz. . It came medium and tiny with mostly fat. Really not worth 18$. Side note they use hidden valley instead of home made. (That's important to me) I ordered the brisket sandwich it was pretty good but I had to go up to the bar and ask for a side of bbq sauce for there wasn't anything on it. Burgers are very good and I really like the shoe string French fries when they have them. Their onion rings are awesome as is their sauces. The have a bar and service drinks before you eat, have plenty of TV for viewing. They have a decent outside volleyball set up to which they have leagues during the summer and warmer weather. The place has been clean and well kept every time I've been there. Been there 7-8 time and only had bad service once, most of the time the staff is eager to please. Nachos are big and plentiful, chicken fried steak is awesome, as is their wings. I like their wings for they serve them up whole as a complete wing. I usually order a burger and fries, to which I think their burger is compatible to Dinkers burger in Omaha. After a long day on the near by lake it's a very good place to stop. Started off with onion rings -- not completely done. I ordered a hamburger, spouse ordered chicken fried steak we both ordered the fries. Hamburger was salty, and very dense and the fries were ice cold. My spouse asked me to take a bite of the chicken fried steak it had a off taste and his fries were also ice cold. The air conditioner was dripping water through the ceiling vent -- very distracting. Will never eat here again. read more
