We were promptly greeted and sat, the restaurant was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our hostess took our drink order and then the waitress came by shortly after, I had a mimosa which was superior! I had a cinnamon batter chip pancake which was a seasonal special and was absolutely bangin! My husband had a veggie omelet with home fries and toast and we took home to go another seasonal special of Nutella empanadas which were fanfreakingtastic. I would return in a heartbeat. Overall the place was chill and relaxed. Its nice for families and big groups. When it comes to service, I will say this is the fastest I have ever recieved my food in life. They don't take names, you stand in line and the hostess shuffles you around like you're cattle. We were a party of 5 and were told it was a 15-20 minute wait. Not bad, it was a Sunday morning. After 25 minutes, we said to the hostess we were open to a chair at the end of a booth. Her response was it would cause an issue with room for the servers. After 40 minutes we were allowed to stand inside the restaurant next to the "black wall", we were next to be seated. A woman who I can assume was the manager asks us if we would mind using a chair at a booth...are you kidding me!!!! The hostess sat at least 4 or 5 parties of four who arrived after us. This Chips has consistently provided pleasant, competently executed food. Breakfast foods seem to be their specialty, but I've enjoyed their dinner foods as well, especially the Salmon Florentine. By far the best Chips location! The staff is always super attentive and friendly. The food is consistently delicious. The pancakes are fluffy, omelets can be made fluffy or diner style, and meat is cooked well. The menu is huge so come with an empty stomach. For years my wife and I have passed this place, always appeared to be packed and we finally tried. Safe to say we are now obsessed. We've since been here twice in the past week and it has been just as good both times. It has the mom and pop feel to it, great service and even better food.
