I tried to leave bad reviews on their Facebook page but of course they have to approve what goes on their page so that people can only see the good reviews. We have had nothing but a horrible experience with Morries Mazda. They have had Dusty's Jetta for the last three months! He ended up needing a new motor, but thankfully it was still under warranty. Over the last three months they have never reached out to tell him about the progress, offered a loaner car or anything. When he confronted them multiple times all they could say was sorry it's not done yet, idk what to tell you. Pretty sure that's not an ok answer and we talked with Ken Vance who told us that is completely unacceptable time frame. They clearly don't know what they are doing, as they aren't a Volkswagen dealership. He took the car to them because he bought the car from Morries. They should have had it shipped to ken Vance or someone who could fix and make it priority. We have still been making payments on the car and paying insurance over the last 3 months for a vehicle we can't use. Thank god we have a spare. What would someone who doesn't do. How horrible! To all my friends this is not the first bad encounter with them and we will NEVER deal with them again. I never go on rants but after them not letting me leave a review on their page I thought this was the best way to get the message out! read more

Bad Experiance. I would not buy a car from this dealership. Test drove the car. Noticed that it smelled like something was burning. Got the car on the lift and it had a significant leak in under the transmission. Also had other issues with a lot of codes from the ODB reader. I should have walked away but they convinced me that they would fix everything if I buy it. So I put a deposit down. Three weeks later, still no car. They said first, they were waiting for a part for the transmission. Then they were waiting for a valve cover gasket. Then a plastic cover. Three weeks later still no car and they keep finding problems on the car to fix and wait for parts. Then they tell me it had a rebuilt engine. They did not disclose this when I bought the car. After waiting three weeks for a winter car in January - this was going to be my daily winter car, I decided to cancel the order. Supposedly this car was inspected. If I would have trusted their word on that, I would have been stranded on 94 with a broken transmission and possibly blown motor. Who know what else could be wrong with this car. So the manager tells me I have to pay $500 towards the repairs for this lemon of a car that I never got for canceling the order. They tried to sell me a car that was leaking transmission fluid, engine oil, and a rebuilt engine that they never told me about. Since I backed out they wanted me to pay $500 for this car that I never got! Judging from the other reviews, they don't seem to do a good job of inspecting their cars and say the cars are "inspected". Make sure you get an independent inspection. Bought a $9000 car from this place drive it 20 days and less than a thousand miles then needed $3000 in repairs. Long..... story short all I got from them was a scripted answer over and over! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! "BUY HAPPY" IS THERE MOTTO WHAT A JOKE!!!! Seriously buy from someone else! CarMax is more but totally worth the difference! Bought a used van last week from Morrie's. Staff was super nice (the lady we worked with was fabulous) and we love the vehicle. The only downfall I have, is that we are trying to buy a house so we didn't want our credit hit a lot. After talking it over with my husband, I had asked that they only run it through a certain bank, which is who we got the loan from so I had figured that is all they did. But a couple days later we got a letter from a different bank saying they had run it through them also. Kinda disappointing, but it could have been a mis-understanding also. I WISH I COULD WARN THE WORLD TO NEVER BUY A CAR HERE! This place scammed me in more ways than imaginable! Their "Buy Happy Promise" is complete joke! I recently purchased a used 2011 Mazda from this dealership. The only reason I can honestly say why I purchased the vehichle here is because it was a great price for the miles and year, but after all that I went through here, I would have rather paid money for a car with more miles because it was not worth all the headaches I had to go through- for a month and a half! Couple of things I learned or thought I'd share. 1. I will not purchase a car out of state in the future. They were uneducated and hard to work with- no knowledge at all- these jerks couldn't even fill up the car with gas after purchasing or clean it! 2. I will not purchase a used car from a non-certified dealer of the make. They had to outsource the "we owe" work- not to mention, they didn't actually do the "we owe" work without after having to call numerous times with absolutely no follow ups 3. Don't expect a single thing outside the agreement. It took 6 or more tries for them to fix some issues with the car, and they offered zero apology for all the inconvenience they caused 4. They tried to scam me out of $1200 that they OWED ME! Since I am a Minnesota resident, they owed me all the taxes and registration fees back for the car to be in Minnesota- State law says this needs to be done within 14 days of purchase- took these jerks a month and half of me calling and complaining. When I got the money back- they shorted me money and went off the contract they signed yet again. Not to mention when I said I never received the money- they said it must have slipped through the books- maybe the Government should see what else this company is "slipping through the books" 5. Save yourself time and stress and DON'T EVER GO HERE! This place is run by sexist, uneducated men who clearly do not know how to run a legal business. My daughter just bought a 7000 dollar auto from Morries and when I was with here talking to salesman I asked why they don't give any warrety with used cars because they inspect them. I guess if they inspected them they would trust the auto enough to to put some warranty on them. My daughter took the car home and the next day the powersterring started to act up and they did fix it with no charge. She then drove it a few days when the power steering had trouble again she brought it back and they called her and they stated rudely they would no longer fix anything if you want to hear how rude she is keeping message. Also the engine light wAs on when she bought it but did not check what is was wrong with it until she brought it back and they told her the Cadillac converter was plugging up and it would cost 1,500 to fix it. I thought they inspected them before purchase. I heard from many people they buy a lot of junk autos from auctions and sell them as is with no checks. They are terrible because for a young person to spend 7000 on there first car and when they drive it off the lot they could have junk auto and if it falls apart they are out there money and no car so sad. I have worked as RV mechanic and sales for over 40 yrs and would never do business like this dirty dealer. I hope to warn as many people as possible to how bad it is to buy at Morries So sad. My fiancee and I just bought a 2011 Mazda 6 for her today. We worked with Melissa, who was VERY helpful, and understood what we were looking for with almost no information from us! We test drove one other vehicle, a Mazda 3 that was just a touch too small for us, but closer to our price point. Melissa mentioned the 6 (without ANY pressure to look at it, just as a point of interest) even though it was a little over our price limit. We drove it, and loved it. Dealing with Morrie's Chippewa Valley was hands-down the worst car-buying experience of my life. This dealership should be shut down. They are crooks at best. I purhcased a car from these jokers a couple years ago. They DO NOT perform the pre-owned inspection of used vehicles as they advertise. I felt confident on getting a vehicle in as advertised (mint condition) from a large dealership. Never again will I trust any dealership when it comes to used cars (not really sure why I did in the first place...my bad). When I got my car home it had an air cleaner packed with dust and debris, interior was filthy upon closer inspection (full of dog hair under the seats), poor paint repairs and, soon after I bagan using it, serious mechanical problems and safety issues, that's correct...problems that could have caused injury to me, family or others. The car had a bent half-shaft, bad front wheel bearings, corroded rims on the inside that would't hold air. (problems that should have been caught by the dealer). The car was also completely bottomed out by the previous owner and the dealship left the damaged air dam hanging down underneath (that fell off a week later as I was driving on HWY 10 near Coon Rapids and it got stuck underneath the car on the freeway....great experience). I fought with this outfit for 10 weeks just to get a half-assed resoltion. The sales managers are arrogant and do not care if you come back or not to do business with them, because they are a high-volume dealer. They were terrible at returning phone calls and responding to e-mails. BIG word of advise: Do not buy a used vehicle from these goofs. They sell Mazdas here. Don't be suprised when you have questions that they don't have answers about the other brands of sub-standard used vehicles they have on their lot that no other big dealership would carry. They scratch their heads and have a confused look on their faces. BE SURE.....to check them out at BBB Wisconsin. You will be glad you did. You will definately think twice before doing business with them. Don't let DealerRater fool you. They only filter in the 5 star reviews in when it comes to staff raitings. Do they have some happy customers? Sure they do. The ones who bought new cars. Thinking about a used car? Remember: Do not buy it from this dealership. Within these first 3 Weeks of owning my vehicle I bought at Morrie's Mazda I had nothing but problems. Coolant line unit (within the first hour of leaving Morrie's), power steering pump ($550), both front tires with beads showing ($600), both front CV Joint Shafts ($600) and possibly needing a new Transfer Case (part alone over $2000)!! The only part they agreed to replace was the coolant line unit. After being told I was responsible for the tires and power steering pump, I stopped attempting to receive help from Morrie's. As of now my $6000 vehicle I purchased within 30 days has already cost me multiple absent days of college, appointments and meetings. I guess it's my fault for not having my trusted mechanic inspect the vehicle before signing to purchase it. read more

My grandson and I were treating very well while waiting the application process on July 30th. Our sales representative was very courteous to both of us and did not push us in any way to purchase a vehicle from Morrie's. Also, the final processing was completed in a very friendly, helpful manner. We are very happy with our new purchase and look forward to doing business in the future with Morrie's. My experience at this dealership was very disappointing. I had purchased a vehicle here before, so intended to come back and have the great services I had before. I would not do business with this dealership, nor will I ever recommend this dealership to anyone else. We were offered a lease price over the Internet for a specific vehicle. When we got there the lease prices did not match with the online offer. It just so happened that the key box was not working and it would have taken 10 minutes to get the keys to the one I wanted to lease. Felt very much as though this was planned and rehearsed with all involved. As we left the building the manager called over the intercom system for the fraud department. Again, extremely unprofessional. We were able to go a mile down the road and had wonderful services and honesty at the Toyota Marquart store, so thankfully it was a successful day and there are good people to do business with in this area. read more

VERY BAD CAR DEALERSHIP - BEWARE!!! This is such a sleezy car dealership to buy a car. We bought a car for our son in November and in less than 2 months the engine was shot..We drove it less than 1,000 miles. The place that we had it towed to said that they would never walk away from a customer like this and encouraged us to go back and see if this place would work with us on the $4,000 loss. So we called Morrie's again with the same response - "that's how it goes and we don't care." - We all know that you take your chances with a used car, however, Morrie's Chippewa Valley Mazda said that we were basically out of luck with a 2 month vehicle purchase of $4,000 loss on vehicle with a motor that just blew up - they didn't care and said it was our problem. They totally walked away from this situation and then THEY HAD THE GUTS TO SUGGEST WE HAVE IT FIXED THERE!!! They obviously knew that this car was going to come back and need major repairs!! We paid $4,000 for the vehicle that lasted two months and then they wanted us to pay them more to fix it after it broke down - with discounted parts that they could find for a better deal. (From reading other reviews, their service department can't be trusted to do good work, so all around BAD PLACE TO BUY A VEHICLE!!!). Don't trust them because they don't care. We have not have good service from Morrie's in Chippewa Falls. We purchased a car on Sept. 19th. Within 2 days we discovered a major water leak that was never disclosed and also discovered other items that were "disclosed" within the paperwork, but were never pointed out. We should have seen the paragraph in the paperwork, I admit that, but you get so much paperwork we missed it. We feel that these items should have been pointed out by the salesperson and that paragraph should have been pointed out, read to us, or something, but they didn't. The salesperson made it sound like the boxes that were checked were nothing because he told they mark the boxes as issues even if it isn't an issue, such as if they see any speck of oil it is marked as an oil leak. Any sort of noise and they mark that as an issue. He never said that the noise was a slip in the transmission, etc. It was like they had it there so they could say it was disclosed, but hoped we would not see it within the paperwork. After we discovered the water leak on Sept 22nd, I started making phone calls wanting some sort of reconciliation and people would not even call me back. I did finally get a couple phone calls from Melissa, but James never once returned a call to me. Finally, Bill called me on Oct. 10th and we set up an appointment to have the water leak fixed. I brought the car in on Oct. 14th and the Service department thought they had it fixed. On Oct 18th when it rained, we discovered what appeared to be additional water on the floor, so I called Bill and left a message. I cleaned the water up and on hoped it was leftover water from before it was fixed. On Oct. 26th when it rained again, there was a puddle on the floor again. I called Bill again and we set up another appointment to have Service take a look at it. I brought the car back in, and the only thing they could figure out is the water was coming in through the window that is inoperable. We knew the window was inoperable when we purchased the vehicle, but were not told it leaked water. I asked what we would be given for trade in thinking we could purchase a different vehicle through them and they would be fair with the trade in value being we had just purchased the vehicle and we have made phone calls on it since 2 days after purchasing it. I was told that we would be given $500 for trade in. We paid $2200 for it just over a month ago! This made an already unhappy customer absolutely irate. I could not believe a place would be so inconsiderate of somebody who was not happy with a purchase and wanted to try and make good by purchasing a different vehicle from them, (and look it over much more closely so this did not happen again and most likely spend more money on a more expensive vehicle ) by offering such a minimal amount. It was a complete slap in the face. I did not expect to be offered the full $2200, but I did expect to be treated fair due to the situation, but I do not feel $500 is fair at all. After that experience, I will never purchase a vehicle from Morries again. This has been the worst vehicle buying experience we have ever had. read more
