Sales Rep-Cody Seng. I found the car in Autotrader, it was in Wisconsin and I live in Illinois. So, I decided to call the dealership and my conversation started with Cody Seng. I spoke to him for about 2 or 3 weeks. Cody was very patient and answered all my questions. He also assured me that he would be the one who will be handling the purchase from start to finish. I would not have to speak to a finance officer, which I made me happy, I find them annoying,lol. Cody followed up with me and he answered even more questions and he told about Chippewa Valley Mazda mission how they go about selling cars and how important it is to make sure the car is a to be a good fit the customer. During this time, I got an email from Nariah as well to make sure all my questions were answered. Once I made my decision, Cody explained what I needed regarding financing because I wanted to be financed by Mazda Financial due to the lower rates and he sent me the link. That was a success! Cody called the same evening and told me I have been approved. This was all through phone conversations and emails. Cody even told me that he had to take a day off to attend to a family situation, but he will have his manager contact me. I was amazed, he never skipped a beat and he knows his stuff! I got a call from Nariah the next day for the small deposit hold to hold the car. I expressed concerns about in giving out my credit card number, Nariah told me it "takes a level of trust", that was the hardest thing for me to do but he assured me that everything is private and my credit card info will be shredded. He also sent me confirmation of the transaction. Something about Nariah let me trust him, that does not happen often. Cody is very personable, patient, knowledgeable and even funny. I can tell he has great humility and respect for people. He also handled how I expressed myself very well. I can be very talkative with strong opinions and pretty much all over the place, but he kept up! :) My nephew and I drove over 300 miles from River Grove IL to Chippewa Wisconsin to get my car, 4 1/2 each way! Cody was waiting for us at the door! We talked, joked and got to business. I hope I didn't scare him too much when I put the car on sport mode and speed down the xpressway,,,,yipppeee,yeaaay baby. The guys at Morrie's Mazda are great and really take customer service seriously. We went to Morrie's Mazda and approached them about financing first. We don't have the best credit and wanted to see if something would work before we took a look at what they had. They came back with a yes and gave us a price range we were very comfortable with (that fit our original thoughts). They directed us to two vehicles that were in the middle of the price range and they never tried to stretch our budget. They were open to the cars that we wanted to look at as well, though, and never pushed us. We were able to test drive three vehicles with Jake ("State Farm") and the route that he took us on was stellar (bumpy country roads and the freeway). We were very impressed with Jake's customer service and his friendliness. He listened to what we wanted in a vehicle and he was very knowledgeable. After testing driving the vehicle we wanted, we were fairly confident we wanted to buy it, but decided to shop at a few other places before we made a decision. The next day, we were back at Morrie's ready to buy. We worked with Chris to thoroughly check out the vehicle (it was night by the time we got there and they pulled the vehicle inside under great lighting). Chris was a great guy who was knowledgeable and friendly. After we made our decision, we worked with James to figure out the range of what we could put as a down payment and the financing options. He listened to the financial position we were in and worked with the banks to get us what we wanted (and he was upfront that some of our options were long shots because of credit). We got the financing we wanted, however, and signed the final paperwork with Loren--who was also a great customer service representative. My husband and I bought a vehicle from Morries Chippewa Valley a few weeks ago. We actually stopped in on a saturday morning intending just to look around at the SUVs and check out prices. Jake "state farm" approached us right away and very kindly explained the buy happy process and the fact that the sales team doesn't work on commission. He gave us the space to browse at our pace while checking in often enough for us to ask questions. After test driving a few vehicles, we ended up finding the perfect one and bought it that day. We joked about how we hadn't planned to go car shopping and had a whole bunch of groceries in the car. After 5 hours of shopping and going through the purchase process, we joked about how the new car caused us to have a spinach fatality as it had frozen sitting for so long. Because we didn't go with the intention of buying that day, we didn't even have our checkbook with us. Jake drove our trade-in to our home a few miles away and let us write the check in our driveway. A few weeks later when we came back to get a bulb replaced under the buy happy program, we found a package of organic spinach waiting in the car along with a note from Jake and the team. We were really blown away by the thoughtfulness, kindness, and customer service we experienced with Morries and especially with Jake. I recently bought a used car from these guys and would do it again, I am super happy with my car and the buying experience was super laid back. I highly reccomend working with Nariah, he was awesome. I never felt any pressure from him to buy and he listened to what I wanted and took into consideration everything that I needed to feel comfortable and happy with my purchase. I went in to Morries everyday for a week, trying to decide what was the right car for me and looking at all of my options for loans, payments ect. The only time that I felt any sort of pressure was from one of the financial managers named Scott, I politely declined the first loan offer with a way too high of interest rate and he made me feel dumb for doing it, thankfully after this I went back to talking with Nariah to keep looking at other options and got the interest rate, payment and the car that I wanted. I didn't drive my used truck for a week but then realized there was a buzzing noise when the cruise control is on. I noticed a funny noise when I went over bumps which turned out to be two bad ball joints. I immediately replaced the wiper blades when I bought it as well. The place where you screw in the plates was stripped and our sales guy, Jake, didn't let us know. There's no way you couldn't notice that, or so you'd think. On top of all of this, I purchased the preferred warranty and took my truck to get it worked on. Which was for the ball joints and the company said they hadn't been paid yet so they couldn't cover the work. I called to ask how it was that they were out and I had just bought the truck. He said "I don't have a crystal ball, it's not something we could have foreseen. Things break." I saw how loose the tires were. They didn't just happen to be going in two weeks. BUY HAPPY!!! This is not just a slogan. My wife and I have bought 4 vehicles from Morries and have always had good experiences. Our last one shall be remembered for quite some time. We bought a SUV and a used truck from Scott Feldhausen, who was well versed in the vehicles that were in stock and also easy to talk to. We were able to stay in our price range and the deal went without a hitch. Now for the "Buy Happy" part. The truck had an issue pop up shortly after we left the lot which was frustrating because on the test drive everything was good. We took the truck in a week later for the rust treatment and I sat down with Scott to talk about the issue. This is the first time I bought a car out of state (I live in Florida) and the first time I leave a review of any kind. I started by working with Miguel, exchanging emails/texts, etc., he has been responsive from day one, sent me a walk-around video of the used 2014 Jaguar F-Type that I ended up purchasing. He has promptly returned my calls/emails/texts and has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Not only did they have the stock on their lot to fit my bill, but Chris F. instantly zero'd into what I would love. A great selection of vehicles at excellent prices. The staff is more focused on finding a vehicle that will suit the customer's needs, rather than their commission. I had the pleasure of testing out vehicles with Casey, and while I was there he made it clear to me that helping me was his top priority. He was patient when I test drove multiple vehicles and couldn't make up my mind, and if anything on a vehicle wasn't up to his standards he made sure with the sales manager that it would be fixed before being sold. From the front to the back of the store, they have always lived up to or exceeded my expectations. The prices they offer on their used cars is second to none. Great Job! Jake did a great job helping me select exactly what I wanted. He explained every feature and made sure I knew how to use it. I wanted automatic start which they had put on.
