The moment you walk in, you're surrounded by colorful artwork, warm energy, and a welcoming homestyle atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like a regular. The open kitchen adds authenticity, letting you watch fresh dishes being prepared with care and tradition. The Carne Asada platter was outstanding, tender, flavorful, and perfectly paired with seasoned rice, beans, grilled onions, and fresh lime that elevated every bite. The tacos were easily among the best I've had, fresh, bold, and packed with authentic flavor. I also love that it's BYOB and they'll gladly open your beverage with no extra fee, a small touch that makes the experience feel even more hospitable. The cashier and server were genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming, creating service that felt personal rather than transactional. This is the kind of neighborhood gem Yelp Elite members love discovering, authentic food, great hospitality, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back.

Our server, Lilly, was very pleasant and added to the warm, welcoming feel of the place. The food was exceptional across the board, and the value was very reasonable even though everything we ordered was delicious. Standouts I highly recommend: * Duck buria * Pork belly tacos * Crunchy shrimp tacos * Baja fish tacos * Half chicken, fresh out of the oven (truly amazing) You really can't go wrong with the other tacos either; there are simply too many good options to mention. Their handcrafted drinks had a great summer vibe and were well balanced, and both the gelato and the Tres Leches cake were delicious. Overall, the vibe, friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism of the staff, combined with the quality of the food and the very reasonable prices, make Bar Taco a great value. It's been a while since my first visit (which I also reviewed very highly), and I was impressed that everything was consistently perfect when we returned. We actually went again the following night, and in my opinion, it has only gotten better, earning another glowing review from me. On a value and price scale, I give Bar Taco a solid 9 out of 10. I've put some pics and as you see you have the option to get your taco's on a butter lettuce or tortillas I just prefer the lettuce shells.

The service was great and everything came out hot. I had the El Mocajete. The dish was loaded with meat and shrimp. It had a very good tasting sauce. I passed on rice and beans. I requested a side of veggies and they said yes. They tasted very good also. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to visit again soon

Cold, rainy, and we were already in King of Prussia .... twist my arm for a margarita! (I'm always…read moreup for a good margarita.) 3:30 Saturday, and the place was packed. Plaza Azteca is reliably good, and late lunch/early-geriatric-dinner made sense. Margaritas, yum. I've learned to stick to frozen strawberry, not overly sweet but fruity. A neighboring table ordered what looked like a milkshake. Nope, pina colada, which I note here as a reminder to try next time. Calories be damned! We started with guacamole made tableside. This was almost twice the size (plus better and cheaper) than what we recently had in Manhattan. My husband's main was what they call a "loaded" chili relleno with chicken. The doughy coating overpowered the chili. I thought it mediocre. I went with chori pollo: grilled chicken, topped with chorizo. I enjoyed it -- plenty to take home -- but the chorizo was milder than what I've had here before. Needed more zing. As said, we like this restaurant. While not five stars, four is nothing to sneeze at!

Don't let the outside fool you, it's tucked in behind a bigger building and it's inside the pizza shop but that was easily the best birria I had on the east coast. The corn tortilla was actually crispy which was a big bonus in my book with the perfect salty bite. The shredded beef was beyond bountiful; so savory and perfectly balanced with the fresh onion and melty cheese. The consume was rich with perfect notes of acidity and spice I double dipping into the hot sauce which made for a perfect bite. The green onions were killer not everyone does that super good. Barely finished 2 tacos they are stuffed! 3 tacos and a soda came to $20, well worth it. Also customer service was good, the guy at the register and cooks were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend eating here.

We ordered the shrimp tacos, the veggie tacos, and a large side of guacamole. The shrimp tacos were the worst I've tried. Three tacos each with approximately one underseasoned shrimp cut into tiny pieces, topped with chopped tomato, jalapeño, onion, and a tiny bit of cilantro, drizzled with chipotle mayonnaise. The shrimp was tasteless and the portion was tiny. The pico de gallo was as average as it gets. Not to mention the tacos at El Limon come with beans and rice for the same price, these did not. I got takeout and had homemade corn salsa, pickled jalapeños, and hot sauce in my refrigerator, thank god, because these tacos needed some flavor. My boyfriend ordered the veggie tacos and didn't say much other than he disliked them and proclaimed Lili's a "one and done."

One of the juiciest and flavorful birria tacos I've ever had. The sauce that you dip it in was also amazing. We got big portions for the price paid. My coworkers got a variety of items such as shrimp tacos, chicken fajitas, etc. Everyone was blown away by how good and fresh everything tasted. The reviews lived up to the hype! I would have given this place 5 stars however my gluten intolerant coworker got sick from the shrimp tacos (they must have had gluten in it) so please be careful if you are gluten intolerant.
