The menu signs are of a good size but the print is a bit too small, why I have no idea. Everything is freshly made and refilled. I got a burrito bowl with the new chicken they were advertising in store. I don't get beans cause we all know that although beans are good for you they do make you toot. It's got all sorts of stuff in my bowl and yes guac is an extra fee. My husband got a chicken burrito and liked it. I've literally never left a review before. BUT for this I had to. I'm a patient guy, I waited in line for like 10-20min. When I got to the front they let me know that there was literally no meat? I was cool with waiting though, and waited for the chicken. HOWEVER, the employee making the chicken said to another employee that the thermometer is broken and he "thinks" the chicken is done. Can't lie, made me second guess eating the chicken, I ate it anyways. On top of that, restaurant was a mess. No table was clean. Trash was overflowing. Soda fountains were out of syrup. Worked out at planet fitness and got excited to go to chipotle for dinner. We get there and there's a line to the back of the door. We wait 10minutes+ in line to get up there and find out they don't have steak. When asked if they have more, employee said "nah" and "haven't had it for a while". My partner and I chose to go to the Chipotle on Commerce Drive before doing some shopping on Thursday, March 20th. It turned out to be the worst option we could've chosen. Before even walking in the doors of the restaurant, you could see the trash spilling out of the garbage can situated next to the window. That's how dirty this restaurant was. Walking in, it only got worse. There wasn't a single clean table in the restaurant. In front of one of the employees, I grabbed a napkin, put some water from the soda fountain on it and cleaned off my own table because it was so filthy my partner and I didn't want to put our food on it. I think the worst part about all of this is, there were PLENTY of people working who could've tended to the absolutely disgusting condition of the restaurant. I've worked food service in the past (including leadership roles) and I know I would've gotten in serious trouble had the restaurant looked as disgusting as this one did. Instead, the people working were chatting with another employee who had come in on their day off, not caring whatsoever about the filthy condition of the restaurant. And, of course, i understand there can be a rush of business. I understand in some circumstances, restaurants can be understaffed and it can be hard to keep things clean while also tending to customers in a timely fashion. And, in most circumstances I can come up with one excuse to pardon a restaurant not being completely clean. The problem here is, this is one of the most disgusting Chipotles, let alone restaurants, i've ever walked into. And with two other people in line to get food besides me and my partner, and the restaurant being near empty, there's no excuse for this level of carelessness. This past Friday evening we decided to order chipotle. I ordered ahead of time to just pick it up since we were is a rush. I head to the pickup line. The rude cashier with dreadlocks and 100 piercings in his face ask if he can help me. I say I am picking up an order for Emily..he said ok it's not ready yet. This Chipotle location is a chaotic mess offering missing ingredients, a messy dining room and extremely rude staff. They were out of chips. Terrible. Then at one point for no reason a staff member taking orders accused us of suggesting they were going to skip us in line. Not sure why, we didn't even say anything to the guy and certainly did not warrant his defensive nature. We were waiting patiently. So here are some of my thoughts on the Chipotle in Victor, NY: The staff is friendly, the location is convenient, the service is fast and I've never had to wait...but now for the food, it just doesn't seem fresh or of decent quality. The meat is often dried out and flavorless, the processes in keeping the rice moist is to just keep adding water to the pan (saw an employee do this firsthand) and everything is just poorly put together in a messy manner that turns out sloppy and undesirable.
