If you have been to one you pretty much know the layout of this spot. This location has outdoor seating and is close to other stores and across the way from Eastview Mall. The menu signs are of a good size but the print is a bit too small, why I have no idea. Everything is freshly made and refilled. I got a burrito bowl with the new chicken they were advertising in store. I don't get beans cause we all know that although beans are good for you they do make you toot. It's got all sorts of stuff in my bowl and yes guac is an extra fee. My husband got a chicken burrito and liked it. They reason I don't do Chipotle too much as it's one of those meals if you eat at lunch you are set for dinner. The staff is friendly and efficient and the inside was clean and tidy. Worked out at planet fitness and got excited to go to chipotle for dinner. We get there and there's a line to the back of the door. We wait 10minutes+ in line to get up there and find out they don't have steak. When asked if they have more, employee said "nah" and "haven't had it for a while". Nobody seems to care or put in the effort. This used to be one of the good locations in Rochester but the staff clearly can't handle making steak. My partner and I chose to go to the Chipotle on Commerce Drive before doing some shopping on Thursday, March 20th. It turned out to be the worst option we could've chosen. Before even walking in the doors of the restaurant, you could see the trash spilling out of the garbage can situated next to the window. That's how dirty this restaurant was. Walking in, it only got worse. There wasn't a single clean table in the restaurant. In front of one of the employees, I grabbed a napkin, put some water from the soda fountain on it and cleaned off my own table because it was so filthy my partner and I didn't want to put our food on it. I think the worst part about all of this is, there were PLENTY of people working who could've tended to the absolutely disgusting condition of the restaurant. I've worked food service in the past (including leadership roles) and I know I would've gotten in serious trouble had the restaurant looked as disgusting as this one did. Instead, the people working were chatting with another employee who had come in on their day off, not caring whatsoever about the filthy condition of the restaurant. And, of course, i understand there can be a rush of business. I understand in some circumstances, restaurants can be understaffed and it can be hard to keep things clean while also tending to customers in a timely fashion. And, in most circumstances I can come up with one excuse to pardon a restaurant not being completely clean. The problem here is, this is one of the most disgusting Chipotles, let alone restaurants, i've ever walked into. And with two other people in line to get food besides me and my partner, and the restaurant being near empty, there's no excuse for this level of carelessness. This past Friday evening we decided to order chipotle. I ordered ahead of time to just pick it up since we were is a rush. I head to the pickup line. The rude cashier with dreadlocks and 100 piercings in his face ask if he can help me. I say I am picking up an order for Emily..he said ok it's not ready yet. I am standing there waiting for 10 minutes for my order. He says to his coworkers I hate that girl Emily she is a fucking bitch. I say to him I am literally standing right here. 12/30/25, placed an order through the app at 720pm for pickup at 740pm. Our order was not ready until 830pm. It was for two items so not a large order. I was told that they do not fill orders by the times? Which makes zero sense. There is a separate station for the online orders so I am very confused on why they even bother allowing orders through the app for specific pick up times if they do not even fill the orders based on the times. Then at one point for no reason a staff member taking orders accused us of suggesting they were going to skip us in line. My first time trying this chain restaurant. I placed my order through the mobile app. Ordering was very simple and my food was ready for pickup at the promised time. I ordered a burrito bowl. My food was hot which was a positive. The only downfall was that I ordered the more expensive carne asada that they advertise and it was way overcooked. It was so dry, I felt like I was eating jerky. Stopped in with my wife and daughter for a meal on Friday March 15th, 2024 about 7:00 pm. Got the food from the counter and went to sit down and realized the restaurant was filthy. Assorted garbage was thrown on the floor and under the tables. Looked like it hadn't been swept in hours. The table top were uncleaned. Sat down to eat, but the disturbing mess made the food unappetizing and I couldn't finish my meal. Probably a dozen people eat at the same spot as us without ever being cleaned. So here are some of my thoughts on the Chipotle in Victor, NY: The staff is friendly, the location is convenient, the service is fast and I've never had to wait...but now for the food, it just doesn't seem fresh or of decent quality. The meat is often dried out and flavorless, the processes in keeping the rice moist is to just keep adding water to the pan (saw an employee do this firsthand) and everything is just poorly put together in a messy manner that turns out sloppy and undesirable. The service is usually sub-par bordering on hostile, the tables are usually dirty, and I've yet to encounter an employee at this location who can properly assemble and fold a burrito so it doesn't fall apart at the first bite.
