I visited Chipotle Mexican Grill earlier today around 2-3 PM and ordered two kids meals through the drive-through: a chicken build-your-own and a chicken quesadilla. The wait was longer than expected, but I was patient, polite, and thanked the employee when I received my food. I showed no attitude and was grateful to receive it. After sitting down at a nearby park with my son, I realized the chicken was significantly spicier than it had been the week prior -- so spicy that even I struggled to eat it, let alone my children. Because my kids could not eat the meal, I returned to the drive-through to kindly ask if there was any way to swap the protein for something milder. A man who identified himself as the general manager came to the window. I calmly explained the situation and asked if a different protein could be substituted since the food was not edible for my children. He immediately said he could not fix the issue, that he "couldn't control the spiciness of the chicken," and that I would need to buy another protein if I wanted something else. What shocked me most was his attitude. He stated that he "had employees to pay" and couldn't do this "for every customer," implying I was asking for something unreasonable -- even though I had already paid, waited patiently, and simply returned because the food was too spicy for kids. I wasn't asking for free food for fun; I was asking for a reasonable fix so my children could eat. When I asked why this was such a big issue, he doubled down. I even asked if he had children, hoping he could understand my perspective. He did not respond. When I asked for his name, he said "I don't know." I repeated the question, and he again said he didn't know his own name -- an extremely strange and concerning response from someone claiming to be a general manager. In the end, I was forced to purchase a separate protein for $5, which is almost the price of an entire kids meal (around $6). That felt completely unreasonable and left me feeling dismissed, embarrassed, and frustrated. This experience was not about food -- it was about poor customer service, lack of empathy, and refusal to take accountability. I came in polite, patient, and respectful, and I left feeling like my concern -- especially as a parent -- did not matter at all. I truly hope corporate leadership reviews this location's management practices, because this is not the level of service families should expect from Chipotle. If I could give negative stars I would say -5. I placed a mobile delivery so I can earn my points. I always do this when I'm headed home from Seattle to Home so I can have food ready for me. I guess you guys can't read or need glasses because how do we confuse a bowl FOR A BURRITO!!! And of course your team answered and said no we didn't do this order WHEN IT CLEARLY SAYS WHAT STORE DID IT. I just wanted my bowl. The employee JASHAWN is absolutely horrible! Terrible attitude, customer service is horrible, the way the team is ran is embarrassing, and the work ethic is like watching a baby learning how to walk! Dont get me started on waiting 30 MINUTES for a burrito!!! It was a cold burrito as well!! This establishment needs to be checked and investigated. I get things get busy but your job is to make sure things are ran PROPERLY. This is ran like a Waffle House full of Mexicans! I've gotten food from here any other time and I've never really had much of an issue, but this recent time was definitely something that was a little bit concerning, I had placed my order at least 15 to 20 minutes before I pulled up to the window to pick it up. The girl had told me it was not ready and that I would have to wait. I was a little bit confused just because I had ordered it prior to me getting there so I was just able to grab it and go. I didn't complain, but yes, I was a bit confused so I did give her a confused answer when I said OK I'll wait. Definitely was a lot of attitude coming back from her, but I wasn't too worried about it but when I got home, my food was disgusting!!! I don't know if this was purposely or not but my rice was hard. I remember I had watched her throw cold meat on top of my burrito bowl instead of it already being pre-mixed. Also, there was extra toppings that I did not have asked for. All I gotta say is I was just coming home from a super long day. I was trying to get my chipotle and head home with my family but because of too young miserable girls, they wanted to ruin my day along with theirs. Came to this chipotle for my first time ever trying and it was a mistake. I got a bowl and the portions i got were INSANE. I got half of HALF A BOWL. literally it was only the bottom of the bowl that was covered which i paid $12 for.. definitely not worth it at all. I moved here from the east coast two years ago where Chipotle is everywhere. It was nice seeing one on my commute home after feeding my horses. My experience has always been extremely positive and I would have given a five star except for the absolute worst service that I received today from Shaian. Her demeanor was very cold; unprofessional; it was like she didn't want to be there; very cold; she did not smile; she was very rude. I asked for my regular which is chips & guacamole with a side of salsa. I paid with Apple Pay. In a very cold tone she told me my payment did not go through; however, I received a notification on my phone that the charge did go through. I pointed that out to her and did not get any apology but just still a quirky rude attitude. I looked in the bag and there was no guacamole. I explain to her that I did not get the guacamole. Again in a rude cold unprofessional tone she told me I did not ask for it. If she had Customer Service, she would have said I apologize let me correct the order. Instead, she had a bad attitude. She was very combative. I felt it was a personal attack. I told her from a good customer service perspective that she should not badger the customer trying to point out they were wrong and did not order properly. Then she said well I was on the phone talking to her and talking to the person on the phone which is not true. That person held while I placed my order. But even if I did, she's trying to use that as justification for giving me bad customer service and being rude towards me. I was completely baffled. I pointed out to her that I was feeling she was not having a good day because it's coming out in her service and attitude. I asked for someone else to help me so that I can have a good customer service experience. She refused and said she's the only manager there abusing her position as a manager. It was not a matter of dealing with a manager, I wanted another representative that would give me better customer service but she refused. She charged me for an order of guacamole and I gave her the order back and asked that she starts over with the right order. Again major attitude with no smile and attitude on her face then rudely placed the order on the counter. After that, I told her to give me a refund giving the rider back. She aggressively put the order back on the counter after where she might as well thrown it back at me. I will not go back to that store and not sure if I'd go back to another chipotle. She completely ruined my whole experience because I was a regular. I asked who her manager was and again with an attitude said here's his business card but the number did not work. The way she treated me as a customer, she should not be in a management role nor should she be interfacing with customers. Visited the location for dinner (2/16/23). I'm giving it a 4 star mainly because most of the tables had not been cleaned. Maybe I walked in after a rush, trying to give the benefit of doubt. The steak was a bit salty compared to other locations. Serving was very generous in which I do hope it remains that way. Staff were polite and very helpful. I do recommend you to visit the location. The food was presentable and the building is nice. The building used to be a bank but has been refurbished to be a chipotle. The food tasted ok. It tasted like they used reheated meat in my burrito. But the aftermath of the burrito and time that I'll never get back after eating their food is what makes me give them such a low rating. So my boyfriend and I stopped in very excited that this location is near our house. He had to use the restroom so I went to stand in line and order our food ($63 worth of food). They refused to let him use the restroom until we both checked out. We told them it was an emergency and they still refused to give us the code until we paid. We asked for the manager and they would not leave the office to talk to us or even help with the situation. Don't go here, the food is already terrible quality and the staff is rude. New chipotle had no idea it was here, came in 12/21 and it was amazing it was a little slow so it was nice, but I had never been to a nicest chipotle. I swear I was greet with a smile and the girl in the line was very nice and nice portioning much better than other places, I order one burrito and one bowl and it was amazing, the cashier was nice as well and overall the place is amazing. Only thing that ruined my day was that some f*** women was insanely bitc** with the girl in the line, she was complaining about everything and the food and portions I have no idea how the little server with glasses didn't cry or got mad, súper profesional and nice all the way to the end, if you ever read this you're great little girl and the woman was a bit** and later she threatens to report to corporate very sad.
