I have seen this locale go through some trying times with the large homeless population in the area and the staffing shortages. Don't even deserve 1 star Natasha the manager is horribly dressed nor do any of the other staff look clean you feel gross just walking into the building , I waited over 7 minutes for my order to be taken in the front counter was dirty with red sanitation buckets that had white towels with nasty crummy water all over the counter. Sat in the drive thru for over 5 min WITHOUT our order ever being taken. We were told that they were "busy" getting other orders ready. There was nobody in the parking lot and one car in front of us in the drive thru. When we asked if they were ready after 5 min, we got "no, we're doing the best we can and are multi-tasking." What a dump! Ordered on my app. food said it would be done at 6:14. Got there, there was a sign on drive through saying ' back in 30ty mins. I pull around front, there is people in there, 3 people of what appear to be homeless people. I go to the door and knock, and they look and just ignore. I sit back in my truck for another 30 minutes. In the mean time, watch this guy that is obviously living in his car go to the door, get let in and he's there handling out in the back of the serving counter doing god knows what. I ask my girlfriend to call the store. She reaches the area supervisor (which was concered) he said he would call us right back. It has now been 40ty minutes and I'm pretty sure the crew is smoking drugs in the store. I could see several members at the bathroom with homeless people right there with them. I'm not joking. The area supervisor called us back, he was kind and said he called 3 different people on shift and the store and NO ONE answered. He than asked for a screen shot of the meals and would refund them to us. As we were deciding to leave, we noticed the back door was open, probably to air out the place. I saw two of the homeless people leave the store. The guy in his homeless car and the lady with several shopping bags. I swooped back right up to the drive through window, they looked confused and I said Hi, what's going on, my order was supposed to be done at 6:14, it's now 6:57, they said , oh we have it right here. She handed me soggy bags and the order wasn't right, the. I could hear someone crying, and another person holding open the door that goes from lobby to kitchen telling someone to just leave, then a bunch of yelling, phone ringing with the employees saying that they weren't answering it. We ended up taking the food and throwing it all away because I didn't trust the sanitary conditions after seeing and hearing all this. It was disgusting, several people came to the window about our wrong order and you could easily tell that 3 of the 5 that did were high AF. One normal guy came to the window as well, I explained the issue and he said, no problem, I'll get it worked out for you, then when I was finally leaving I saw him walking up the road. I called a few days later and talked to a chick named Brenda, she was nice and apologetic. I wasn't able to get my money back because I didn't keep the food, so I asked for it to be remade and she said no problem. I got it remade today. After waiting in the drive through window for 15 minutes I was finally presented with my order. I was greeted with a singular bag that supposedly was holding my chicken strips, fries, onion rings, and 4 tacos. I have ordered this exact order from this exact location multiple times a month for the last 7 years and NEVER have I received only one bag. I asked the employee who handed it to me if it was everything, and she assured me that it was, and she said that she "made it all fit in one bag". Foolishly, I did not check the tightly packed bag myself due to the many cars waiting behind me. After arriving home and unpacking my bag, I was greeted to all of my items except the chicken strips that I paid $10 dollars for, and they were the first thing I ordered off the menu. After a long hard day, sometimes the only thing a person wants is to enjoy some nice tender and juicy chicken strips.To be robbed of this was one of the worst disappointments I have felt recently. I write this review now not because I want my order to be compensated, I write because I simply want to warn others that not only will this restaurant get your order wrong but they will rob you of any joy you might hope to get from their #13 chicken strip combo meal. Will NEVER EVER visit again! The last 8 to 10 times I tried the drive through- they're closed before 10 p.m. When it states 24 hours on the signs. When they are open- No cash being accepted, no cheese, no coke but for some reason they have vanilla coke. No sauces. Now they charge 50 cents to get curly fries. I took my son by the other day and ordered a 6 piece chicken strip meal, small. On the board it says 11.99 for combo but then was told 17.89 and I was mistaken because I guess the 11.99 was just for strips. That's restaurant prices. I work at an Italian place and you get salad, bread sticks, an actual meal for $15.99. Now I understand why their drive thru is always clear. Just shut down already. Greedy ain't working these days. This rating has more to do with the prices then it does the service. There are people who honestly live by fast food and then there are people who consider it a treat/luxury due to the cost of inflation. I would be the latter. And it's sad to see all these fast food restaurants who think that $18 (for 1 person) for food that honestly even on a bad day wasn't worth more than $10. That would be 2 jumbo Jacks - the burger (not the meal), 2 tacos and 1 Large drink. Regardless of how they come to their prices..it's to much. and fast food isn't worth what they value it at today.. I have no idea what is going on with this location. Every time we come here (which isn't very often) we get terrible service. My boyfriend and I showed up to this location to order TWO sandwiches. We had to wait at the call box for between 5-10 minutes before we could even order. Keep in mind there was literally nobody else in line. So finally we get to order and then we show up at the window & it takes a while for the woman to open the window because she's too busy laughing and talking to her coworkers and on her phone. After we pay we had to wait over 10 MINUTES for TWO sandwiches. There was literally not a single other customer there. And the entire time that we're waiting for our TWO sandwiches the two women working are laughing on their phones right in front of the window. The man who was making our sandwiches actually slapped his hands on dirty surfaces and touched his gloves to his face while laughing hysterically and used those same gloves to make our food. Great food I love Jack in the Box but this particular location needs to work on customer service. Especially after hours...not so great. One thing that bothered me was one time I was waiting in the drive thru and watched the worker shovel mass amounts of French and curly fries into the trash. I realize there is probably rules about serving "old" fries to customers but that's a massive waste of food and it could be put to a better use. Look at all the hungry people standing around on the corners asking for food or money especially in this particular area why can't those fries be given to the hungry if they are just going to be thrown away anyways. Or even a homeless shelter could re heat them and give them out instead of being thrown into the trash and going to waste all together. Think of all the potential potatoes being wasted...food for thought one might say. I know every fast food place probably does the EXACT same thing but I haven't witnessed it in person and this Jack in the Box could be the one to start something good for the community just sayin! read more
