The two of us, visiting friends in the area, last…read morenight in town, wanted easy access, mid-week, early evening, decided to drop in here based on the stars (mostly) and proximity to our hotel. EZ-PZ, right? Well, not so much. We were seated near the fireplace in a busy dining room. Took forever and part of the next day to get a glass of water before putting in beverage orders in a half-full house. Put in the food orders, she wanted the chicken, I ordered the fish. She was happy, I'll just refer you to the pictures of my fish. We can be sure I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known then what I know now. So, mixed opinions on the food. Service? Pretty much slow and spotty. We gave credit for that to our server having a nearby party-time table with a lot of people, all enjoying their libations and trying to speak over each other. We could only assume the server expected a notably larger tip, maybe. All in, not the greatest use of our dining out money. Not sure we'll go out of our way to drop in here next trip in the area.

Didn't finish much of it. What I will comment on is the state of the kitchen and prep areas. Here are just a few; unclean cooking areas like the grill and fryer, unclean prep areas with old food debris and dirty utensils scattered about, bread storage left open for some time, disgusting counters, cutting boards, floors and between every crack and crevice was old food and grease, staff was friendly and food did come out within a timely manner and lobby was relatively clean, however, half of the staff which were preparing the food was not wearing gloves and the staff which were plating the food were wearing gloves but also handling cash and cards, playing with and adjusting their hair, adjusting and touching their microphone, ear piece and faces. Several health codes were being violated and more than enough common sense food safety and sanitation rules were being ignored. I would think twice about visiting at least this location and be vigilant when visiting other locations but I cannot specifically comment on any other locations as we have not been to any others.

There were many times when the website couldn't locate the restaurant and we tried both Safari and Chrome. The site wouldn't accept any of our debit cards in Safari, though Chrome eventually worked. On multiple occasions we couldn't complete our order because the site wasn't functioning properly and when we called and pressed #2 to reach staff, the automated system just kept looping and never connected us with anyone. As for the food, it's a decent breakfast. I wouldn't call it the world's best but it's good for what it is and our kids really enjoy the chocolate chip pancakes.
