Rating 3.5 stars. Was wavering between clicking the 3 stars or 4 stars button, but because of the location I'm giving it a 4. It's been years since I've had Chipotle, so I was surprised that my burrito bowl with chips cost $16 before tip. The burrito bowl definitely satisfied my craving, but the only funny thing about my order was that I chose the mixed veggies and there was only 3 strings of bell peppers in there. I did an online order and it was ready to be picked up within 10 minutes. There are shelves for mobile order in the dining area, but actually they keep all the mobile orders behind the counter, which is good so no one takes your order. There is tons of indoor seating but very few people eat inside on a weekday at noon. My favorite spot is the counter right by the window so I can enjoy people watching and getting some vitamin D. read more

I'm a regular at Chipotle, and this time I decided to order the same one-taco meal through the Chipotle app. I ordered a Chicken Taco with a soft flour tortilla, fajita veggies, and brown rice ($4.05). I also ordered another soft flour tortilla on the side ($0.50 extra) and added black beans, fresh tomato salsa, and roasted chili-corn salsa on the side. I opened the extra soft flour tortilla and added the black beans, fresh tomato salsa, and roasted chili-corn salsa, then placed the chicken taco with the fajita veggies and brown rice on top. It ended up looking and eating more like a mini chicken burrito, which was a very good value for the price. Surprisingly, the fajita veggies were not too salty this time. The filling also wasn't too watery, so I was able to eat the mini burrito without the sauce dripping from the tortilla. Overall, the total was $4.94, including tax, and turning a taco into what felt like a mini chicken burrito was a very good value. The Carnitas are all full of fat and chewy and disgusting. They put skin of the avocado into the guacamole. It was disgusting when I was trying to get some help. The woman was mopping right in front of the area where I needed to be and so I just asked her if she would quickly pour me a Diet Coke out of the machine because she was standing there mopping. She just acted like I didn't exist, maybe she couldn't hear me or understand I don't know.. there were four people there one in each corner of the restaurant. I don't know if that means that the restaurant was not doing very well or it has bad reviews otherwise and nobody's going there. I love Chipotle! but the one gentleman working there always seems to have an attitude. Idk if its maybe me ? or maybe hes younger and doesn't think he has attitude, but he def. does. He is very rude. The ladies there are so sweet and nice. I came in to order my go to i always get- the Kids build your own tacos(that is mainly what i order so i know what comes with it)- and I'm not sure if at first he didn't realize how the order comes with the kids chips n coke etc.. And at check out---- make all transactions paperless. 99% of the techies ordering don't want a receipt, so please don't print a receipt and ask me if I want it. In SF to drop the kid off at college. After moving crap and shopping for other crap we were all a bit hangry. We had to go to Target to buy some more crap and how ideal, Chipotle is right there. Usually you can count on Chipotle (is this foreshadowing? I'll have to ask the kid who is in media studies in to confirm.) Anyhoo, the wife went first. She went with the salad, but the first server had no lettuce. He asked a server further down the line to put some lettuce in the bowl and that server threw in 4 (my estimate) pieces of lettuce in the bowl. The first server asked my wife what she wanted on the 4 pieces of lettuce and she asked him to get a couple more pieces of lettuce in the bowl (then it could actually be called a salad). Reluctantly he asked the other server for more and apparently that guy was guarding his lettuce supply like Fort Knox. Perhaps they get a bonus if they have leftover lettuce at the end of their shift. Lettuce-gate came to an end and the wife got the rest of her toppings without incident or embargo. Just kidding, she wanted to top her "salad" with the world famous, only reason we are here, Chipotle Salad Dressing. "We don't have that today." Whoopsy. The kid went next and the first server gave her a nice portion of brown rice and black beans. On to the guy guarding the lettuce. The kid asked for pico de gallo and I would guess that they are not motivated to save the pico de gallo, as he covered the entire bowl with the salsa. The kid then asked for a small portion of guac. As the server dropped a giant scoop of guac on the bowl the kid said "that's good". Ha! I step up for my bowl adventure. Mine was boring, though they were scraping from the bottom of each tray to get me the the things I wanted on my bowl. No stress, my bowl was complete. The wife challenged the cashier asking for a Pellegrino sparkling water, which she saw in the fridge behind the counter. The cashier efficiently pointed to every beverage in the two fridges until the wife said yes. Cool. I ordered a large drink and the kid ordered a small. I checked out and the bargain of the century (sic) was $45 for 2 veggie bowls, 1 chicken bowl and three drinks. After I paid, the kid and I went over to the beverage dispensers. She got some lemonade and when she tasted it, it was water. She dumped it out. She tried the sprite, it was soda water. She clicked on the Coke and it ran clear. In a desperate effort to find some desirable beverage she hesitantly clicked on the root beer. It ran brown and it, wait for it, tasted like root beer. By far the WORSTTTT Chipotle staff I've even encountered. THE WORST. I've previously worked in food service for many years - I get how hard it is. But I could not imagine barking at, giving attitude to and rushing customers in the way the staff here do. Been here at this exact location a few times and I always enjoy the food. I like this place because you can choose what you want to put in either a "burrito bowls, Tacos, or salad." The choices you have steak, chicken, Barbacoa, carnitas, sofritas, and veggies. They have two kind of rice (white and brown) and two types of beans. You can get salsa and or Guac. Horrible place, never coming here again. Picked up a steak bowl the guy with glasses serving me was intentionally messing with me when I asked for corn. He literally added 3 kernels. When I asked again he did the same thing again and laughed. I asked again..that's when he finally added a better portion. Asked for lettuce and gave me 8 pieces. Told the bowl home and not even half way through my meal, I got a husk splinter from the corn stuck by my throat passage way. Had to have wife get a set of tweezers to pick it out. Never was a fan of Chipotle before since first trying it in a suburban Virginian mall - always thought it was sterile Mexican. The fast-casual chain started to grow on me however as a convenient spot for a quick lunch by my old office. Now that we've moved, I really miss it. Nothing wrong with a brown rice bowl, grilled chicken, lettuce, some fresh tomato and corn salsa topped with a little cheese and sour cream. The flavor are bright and it's a satisfying lunch. Even the Sofritas braised tofu is really hearty and tasty for a non meat option. The lines at lunch are misleadingly long because it does move pretty quickly along the assembly line. Fresh and tasty, in and out for under $10 lunch. I have more "authentic" Mexican options by the new office but I do miss my dependable rice bowls here. read more

Lines can get quite long, reaching as far as the entrance door between noon and 1:00pm. If there aren't any seats available, there's outside seating just adjacent to the building which provides plenty of space and shade. Outside that hour there is typically little to no wait time. Prices aren't inflated due to high traffic which is nice. They also do pickup if you order ahead of time and in a rush. Surprisingly this area is relatively clean compared to the other eating establishments along Market St. Tips: 1. Don't go during 12:00pm-1:00pm 2. If you do, order ahead 3.
