My burrito bowl was ok but they sold me a cup for the fountain machine that they've known was broken for 3 months. No ice and the drink was not only room temp but flat. When I approached the cashier, she said they knew it's been down for months. When I said that should be mentioned before charging me for a cup- she basically shrugged. Messy restaurant. No chicken, no steak, no guacamole, no nothing. How am I supposed to hit my protein goals. The service was ight.

We have been disappointed at a number of previous visits to the Rutland Vt Chipotle with no Fajita vegetables, guacamole, missing main proteins and other ingredients. Saturday's Dec 8th visit at 5:00 pm was missing all of these as well. No chicken or steak, no guacamole, no Fajita vegetables, no lettuce and lots of discussed customers. I've provided two bad reviews in the past and we thought we'd give it another go thinking management may have improved. Clearly not. Don't waste your time. This is a poorly managed franchise and clearly the Chipotle organization doesn't audit or maintain standards for their franchises. Hope this review saves you time and disappointment. read more

Extremely inconsistent in their portioning from one employee to the next. I order a bowl with the same thing in it every single time and some days it's packed to the brim with the lid barely going on and other times it doesn't even reach the top of the cardboard bowl. There's a pretty big difference there. Customers should be able to rely on a little more consistency in what they are paying for. Employees are, how ever, generally friendly and provide decent customer service. Could use some improvement. read more

I was waiting for 2 minutes on my mobile order and the staff was VERY friendly and kind. Front line workers do not get treated well, and they deserve more respect and higher pay for what they endure. Just went to the Rutland location to order a Chicken rice bowl As I was ordering another female employee came from the other side of the kitchen and took the last of the chicken. I was then told it will be five minutes. This is the fourth time in 2 weeks this same thing has happened and last time five minutes turned into fifteen as we got to watch her put the steak on before cutting the chicken. Employees do not want to be there and seem to be way under staffed. There are always signs saying if using cash must use exact change. This location is poorly run and has been from the opening in 2020. Chipotle is a go to for me as I am in sales and travel a lot. Guess I will have to find somewhere else when visiting Rutland!!!!!! read more

There was 5 cars for employees in the parking lot so they had plenty of staff. So my card has been charged and I didn't get my food. I was charged $17 for a VEGGIE burrito that I didn't even get guac on. I wanted my pico on the side (which is included in the $10 burrito price) so that my burrito didn't get soggy on my way home and I was charged over $2 each for two 2oz sides of literal pico/salsa. They're charging more than a restaurant would charge for a meal that includes a side at a restaurant. No chips no sides no drink and I paid $17 for one veggie burrito. They're just taking advantage of people at this point. Tiny scoops of rice way less than they've ever been in the past. The employees give portions smaller than I've ever seen. This is the worst chipotle I've ever been to. If chipotle wants to make this right with me I'll take this down but everyone should know they either don't charge people correctly or they're robbing you. read more

I feel bad for these poor employees. Ive never seen anyone who looked even remotely like a manager in there (Im a local, so I have been in there at many different times of the day). They are always closing early, and every time im in there employees are hustling to make orders, take orders, cook the meat, refresh the fixing bar, etc. Honestly, Im taking my business to Bueno burrito on merchants row by the Enterprise. I'm giving it one star because it is Chipotle let's see I think I'll start from walking in the door it was Thursday afternoon about 4:30 in the afternoon. One other customer in front of me. Two employees behind the counter. It looked like every table had had a lunch rush smeared with an identifiable crud when I asked for the new bowl I was told many of the things that I wanted were not available supply chain issues I was told. And as I walked to the front door I did see a posting about that. That doesn't forgive the hot mess that lie in front of us if I wasn't so hungry and hadn't eaten lunch and didn't have the wonderful experience I've had it other of their restaurants I would've walked right out the door. The young man that was making my bowl and my sons bowl couldn't be more unenthusiastic about being there slapping our food into the containers like we were in the lunch line and some prison I would imagine it to be like. My son wanted some queso they were very reluctant to get it like they didn't wanna make the effort. I asked if they had any soft drinks with a ginger and the girl just said no not suggesting anything else. The hot Ingredients were cold it was just awful. And on top of it two bowls were almost $40 wow! It was really a horrible experience Rutland get your crap together!
