We came to Woodstock, VT to visit and see the Christmas lights. We arrived at 7pm. Walked around in 11 degree weather and sadly all the cute stores I wanted to see closed at 5pm. We walked back to our car and I was in the mood for pizza. My husband said there was a pizza place right behind us where we were. I didn't notice it. He said it was called Positive Pie. I gotta be honest here, it's hard to make out the logo/sign on the outside, but it the logo/sign appears to say HIV Positive with the "positive symbol". On Yelp, it shows as Positive Pie. As a suggestion and since this place is relatively new, I recommend removing the positive symbol and leaving the "Positive Pie" in block letters so it's easy to read on the outside. Upon inside, we were immediately greeted upon arrival and sat down at a table. It was pretty packed. At the recommendation of the waiter, we had their vermonter Pizza. We did half cheese for the kids and half Vermonter and it was delicious. We got a large as opposed to family. A large is typically 8 slices. However, our pizza slices were cut inconsistently. So we had 3 vermonter slices and 4 cheese slices. I find the large pizza for $slightly expensive for pizza.

A new restaurant opened in town, and it was one I had been eager to try--so tonight was the night. First of all, I loved the name. Second, the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, friendly, and comfortable. Third, the food was made to order and tasted absolutely delicious. People chatted casually at the bar while dining, others enjoyed meals at the street-view tables, and I sat in the middle, happily digging into a cheesy pizza with a side of marinated mushrooms. With the Christmas season in full swing, festive songs played softly in the background, adding a warm and cozy touch to the entire experience.

Being from NJ, it's hard to find good pizza out of state. But I gotta say, this thin crust pizza was great! We got chicken on half and it was super tasty and held the shape when you picked up the slice. I would have had it again if we stayed longer! Great stop after a hike or skiing.

This place had newly opened & was one of the few places opened early in the week. We stopped in for dinner after a long day out. We had such a great experience. I'm vegetarian and they had loads of creative selections. My Dad is lactose intolerant & they were able to make him a pizza without cheese. I had one of the best Moscow Mules I've had in a long time. Our waitress was super friendly & informative and really made the night. It was a fun, welcoming atmosphere. As I mentioned they have several creative selections on the menu and the one our waitress recommended had walnuts on. It gave the pizza a nice crunch. May have to try this at home. We had a wonderful night & wish this place so much success.

Consistency like this is rare, and it says everything about the standards they keep. I started with the Pomegranate Granita Oysters, and wow. Bright, refreshing, unbelievably fresh, and balanced perfectly. They were the kind of oysters you slow down for because you don't want the bite to end. I ordered the duck ragu again because I couldn't stop thinking about it from my last visit -- and once again, absolute perfection. Rich, comforting, layered with flavor, and yes... I cleaned the plate spotless. Not a drop left behind. From the hospitality to the execution of every dish, everything about this restaurant screams class, quality, and a superb dining experience. The team makes you feel welcome, the food exceeds expectations, and you leave already planning your next reservation. Manchester is lucky to have a place like this.

It's very new agey and different for the sake of being different. But, the pasta was delicious and high quality! The place has a major attitude problem, though. The aesthetics are off-putting and attract a crowd of the worst types of people. Had to listen to nothing but whiny spite and anger my entire meal from multiple groups of guests. The waiter was the worst aspect, though. I didn't even know he worked there when he approached me. He was dressed down more than a lot of homeless people I've seen. He also shared that same attitude of the guests and made my business feel like an inconvenience the entire time, having the nerve to expect a tip for bringing my food out to me, which I would have just done myself to avoid him. I can recommend carryout, if you absolutely have to have some pasta in this area, but not eating in, and don't get anything that seems weird on the menu. Not sure what happened between the kitchen and our server, but 2 of 3 main courses came out cool. One was my crab-stuffed sole and the other was our son's $85 filet mignon. We had to let the server know. She brought over the manager who said they would "reheat" our dishes. I questioned him, um, "reheat" not remake? He said he could redo them but the steak will take 25 minutes (son's father had already dug into his duck by this point). Manager said if we try reheating it and it's not to our liking he'd take the steak (no mention of the sole) off the bill. We said fine, let's try reheating so as to resume eating asap. Of course the steak was no longer medium-rare and my fish was pretty awful. The most annoying thing is that he/manager NEVER acknowledged my meal being cold and removing it from the bill. Only my son's steak. Why? I don't know. In general, I think the food here is overpriced and very underwhelming. Now I know and I don't need to go back.Food did not have the flavors outlined in the descriptions. Our Waitress was very good though (not her fault the food was not to par for the price). The bread and whipped butter was excellent

I requested to sit at the bar and the host walked me to the bar. The bartender was kind and attentive. At the bar, you can order from the bar bites menu and/or you can order from the regular menu. They provide roasted garlic and a warm baguette to start your meal. For dinner, I order a house salad and two bar bites, the caprese and artichoke dip. The lettuce in the salad was so fresh and it was really filling. The star was the artichoke dip. It had hints of sun dried tomatoes and it was incredible. In all honesty, the entrees were just normal Italian food, it was good but nothing earth shattering. The reason this place is a 10/10 is because of the mussels, it's so good!

This was a great suggestion. I selected the House Roast Beef sandwich ($13) - with lettuce, tomato, Vermont cheddar, and garlic aioli, served on a kaiser roll. The roast beef was rare, juicy and the other ingredients helped to make it a hardy and delicious sandwich. My wife had the Veggie Lover's Delight ($12) - with roasted red and yellow peppers, red onion, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber, served on sourdough bread with a goat cheese and pesto spread. Their refrigerator cases had the makings for a simple picnic to an extravagant spread -- and everything in between. It's called the Village Butcher because it also is a butcher shop in addition to selling sandwiches. There is no inside seating, but there is plenty of outdoor tables. This is the kind of place you wouldn't discover on your own, but it makes for a great lunch spot.
