We came to Woodstock, VT to visit and see the Christmas lights. We arrived at 7pm. Walked around in 11 degree weather and sadly all the cute stores I wanted to see closed at 5pm. We walked back to our car and I was in the mood for pizza. My husband said there was a pizza place right behind us where we were. I didn't notice it. He said it was called Positive Pie. I gotta be honest here, it's hard to make out the logo/sign on the outside, but it the logo/sign appears to say HIV Positive with the "positive symbol". On Yelp, it shows as Positive Pie. As a suggestion and since this place is relatively new, I recommend removing the positive symbol and leaving the "Positive Pie" in block letters so it's easy to read on the outside. Upon inside, we were immediately greeted upon arrival and sat down at a table. It was pretty packed. At the recommendation of the waiter, we had their vermonter Pizza. We did half cheese for the kids and half Vermonter and it was delicious. We got a large as opposed to family. A large is typically 8 slices. However, our pizza slices were cut inconsistently. So we had 3 vermonter slices and 4 cheese slices. I find the large pizza for $slightly expensive for pizza.

A new restaurant opened in town, and it was one I had been eager to try--so tonight was the night. First of all, I loved the name. Second, the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, friendly, and comfortable. Third, the food was made to order and tasted absolutely delicious. People chatted casually at the bar while dining, others enjoyed meals at the street-view tables, and I sat in the middle, happily digging into a cheesy pizza with a side of marinated mushrooms. With the Christmas season in full swing, festive songs played softly in the background, adding a warm and cozy touch to the entire experience.

Being from NJ, it's hard to find good pizza out of state. But I gotta say, this thin crust pizza was great! We got chicken on half and it was super tasty and held the shape when you picked up the slice. I would have had it again if we stayed longer! Great stop after a hike or skiing.

This place had newly opened & was one of the few places opened early in the week. We stopped in for dinner after a long day out. We had such a great experience. I'm vegetarian and they had loads of creative selections. My Dad is lactose intolerant & they were able to make him a pizza without cheese. I had one of the best Moscow Mules I've had in a long time. Our waitress was super friendly & informative and really made the night. It was a fun, welcoming atmosphere. As I mentioned they have several creative selections on the menu and the one our waitress recommended had walnuts on. It gave the pizza a nice crunch. May have to try this at home. We had a wonderful night & wish this place so much success.

So, my little family has been ordering from this place profusely for weeks now. Yet I'm only now…read morebeginning to understand why. And whilst my wife initially presumed I would not enjoy this place much (honestly, shame on her for thinking this), I can assure you NOTHING could be further from the truth. CAVA is what happens when healthy food actually tastes good! It's proof that "healthy" doesn't have to mean "flavorless." But really...the thing that gives this place an edge is the high level of customization they offer its customers. Take a look at their menu and you'll see a generously vast list of ingredients. I guarantee that nearly anyone will find something to their liking, then build the gyro or bowl of their dreams. A word of caution to anyone who orders the former though: it's messy. Like....wicked messy! But, oh SO worth it! I took the liberty of ordering a custom pita wrap consisting of the following: chicken shawarma, crazy feta spread, tomatoes and onions, shredded Romaine lettuce, topped off with a delicious garlic dressing. And this thing did NOT disappoint! Like I said though, it was messy. It only took me getting one bite in before I noticed the garlic dressing making a hasty exit out the backside of my wrap. I find it's best to fold the bottom part of the paper closed before indulging. Otherwise, you'll end up with a puddle of sauce on your table like I did. Whoops! The interior format of the place is pretty straightforward. If you're ordering take-away in advance via their website or app (highly recommended, btw), the pick up area is located on the left-hand side of the order lane. Another caveat to heed is that you'll want to set up a rewards account prior to placing an order. So far as I can tell, this is the only way you'll be allowed to complete an online order. I have a feeling I will be earning some reward points with this place real soon. Because it's conveniently close to my house and I WILL be returning here often. A few other meats I'd like to try are their steak and grilled chicken options. I'll have to experiment a bit with different spreads and dressings and whatnot. But I definitely discovered a favorite that is the shawarma. And with that, I'm giving CAVA in Nashua 5 messy, but tasty as all get out shawarma wraps out of 5.

What impressed us most this time was the consistency. It's one thing to have a great meal on your first visit, but it's another to come back with pretty high expectations and have them deliver all over again. The food was excellent, the service was warm and attentive, and the whole evening had that relaxed, welcoming feel that makes you want to hang around a little longer after dinner. Michelle, the owner, has created a place that feels genuinely welcoming, and you can tell she really cares about the restaurant and the people who come through the door. Chef Michael continues to turn out excellent food from the kitchen. Everything we've had has been fresh, well prepared and full of flavor without trying too hard to be fancy. Our waiter, Jeff, took great care of us again and continues to be a character in the best possible way. He's attentive without hovering, has plenty of personality, and that unmistakable New York accent coming from a native Vermonter still makes us laugh. Two visits and two really great dinners. That's the kind of consistency that turns a restaurant you enjoyed once into a place you start recommending to friends. We're already looking forward to visit number three.

Fortunately I called ahead to confirm since I realized I had no e-mail or text about it, and they were able to make a reservation anyway. The food was delicious. The pasta for my "Treviso Parm" was cooked perfectly al dente; it's amazing how many places can't get that right. The chicken cutlet was still moist and juicy, just the right amount of tomato sauce bring it all together. The sauce was also nice in that it wasn't too sweet. These days that's hard to find. Service was prompt, good, friendly. No complaints there. The ambiance is one of modern Italian. Interesting integrations of art panels with etched items like tomatoes or herbs gave it a fun atmosphere. Definitely one of the better spots in Rutland for more upscale dining.
