We went back to Chipotle again last Saturday, expecting the same delicious food we always get and it was absolutely yummilicious as usual. We both got the burrito bowl, l had beef and she had grilled marinated chicken. We got ours to go and the food was delicious as usual. McDonald's would have been much more for what we got and l know Panera DeBarf would have been almost twice the price for half the food, plus we had enough left over for Sunday Brunch. Making it a point to give this location a review after our experience today, and since so many reviews on Yelp are negative! Our lunches were made perfectly, and as requested. Employees were friendly, and the restaurant was clean enough. The person working the cash register at about 2:30pm had the perfect customer service response for us. I was rung up for my salad, my guy's burrito, my daughter's burrito, drinks, and chips and guac. I thought they'd added in my son's tacos too; he was right behind me. I walked away and heard the cashier asking him about his tacos. Whoops!! I turned around and started to get my card out. I was tired and it was a *little* annoying, but really not a big deal overall. Things happen, and he's a giant man child, so they probably thought we weren't together. The cashier handed him the tacos and said "don't worry about it," just giving them to us. Not sure how the manager has a job still. One of the worst ran chipotles I've been to. I've waited a month with multiple similar experiences hoping it was a fluke but it isnt. They are constantly out of things. Pretty much every time it's the salad dressing and the fajita veggies. But this time it was the pico as well. The first couple of times it was annoying...but hey it happens. But I've been there at least 6 times since I've moved to Redding and I haven't gotten everything I normally get one time. Not sure what exactly is going on. But after reading other reviews it seems to be a management issue. read more

Came in at 10:45, 15 minutes before closing for a quesadilla and employee stated machine is turned off as they were taking apart the line. My thing is I get you want to go home but I have worked in food service and if you close at 11 you close at 11 not 10:45. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. read more

Food is passable if a bit tasteless. I usually come here when I need something quick and can order online, which is convenient. Bowls and burritos, nothing fancy. A limited selection of bland, mediocre options, some of which are frequently unavailable. Staff are friendly if a bit rushed and zoned out at times. Usually I don't have issues with online orders. Lobby and counter can get pretty nasty and lines can get backed up so order ahead when you can. Parking can be an issue here during peak hrs. Otherwise I'd say this is a preferable alternative to fast food. Not a first (or 2nd) choice for dinner though. read more

I love chipotle and never had a bad meal with them. But when i ordered online it told me it'd be ready in 10 minutes when it actually ended up being AN HOUR and i had to watch customers who ordered after me receive their food first. I understand that things can get really busy and orders could run 10 minutes later than expected but an HOUR? Not prioritizing the customers who ordered first is ridiculous. I would have appreciated a much more accurate wait time so i wouldn't have to involuntarily WASTE MY TIME. Don't even bother ordering online. read more

Arrived this evening around 6:45 for dinner. Immediately noticed the restaurant was not clean--walking in could see garbage and food debris all around outside dining area which continued to the inside where garbage cans were overflowing. That atmosphere alone was not appealing at all. Food was ok but definitely lacked in whomever was prepping the food. Two different chunks of onion that were close to 1" by 1" cubes--not an edible bite at all. Chunks of carnitas weren't shredded and again made it hard to eat. Which there were a no stars option. From the second we got to chipotle I knew it was going to be bad. It all started when I asked Katherine is there were more masks because my boyfriend left his at home, she rudely replied with "no". I know for fact there is extra for the employees... then when ordering she was rude to us and even her co worker that seemed new. We asked for Saudi on the side and she didn't get us it so we reminded her nicely and she rudely replies with " I haven't put it in a bag yet". She only gave us 1 when we both asked for 2. We went in for a late lunch today, around 2:15 pm, ended up walking out, even though our first bowl was still being made. Got as far as the lettuce, it was brown and slimy. I asked if they had fresher stuff and the rude girl behind the counter showed me another container that was just as bad. The place was absolutely filthy, tables and floor full of garbage. I mentioned to her as I was ordering that the floor had spillage she said oh the cashier will clean that up. When I saw the lettuce that's when I said no thanks. Burrito bowl is my go to, however me and my boyfriend both couldn't handle the spice this time. I had 1/2 barbacoa, 1/2 carnitas, his was pollo asado/steak, with guac, cheese, all the fixings. I am usually a huge fan of chipotle but tonight was awful. We placed an online order at 6:10pm with a 6:30 pick up time. We didn't get our order until 7:25 with no word from the staff that they were running an hour behind. We were told they were running 15 minutes late when we went to pick up, no big deal, but almost an hour with no update? Then we got home and realized they'd left a few items out. We tried to call to ask them to ready our missing items but they aren't answering phones. I understand it's hard right now, but communication is important. It would've helped a lot here. read more

I absolutely love chipotle and while on a road trip we figured let's stop at chipotle... well this was probably the worst chipotle I have experienced. I love that you can order double meat, so I opted for a double portion of steak with brown rice and black beans with fresh tomato salsa as the only condiment. Asked for carnitas, got a small portion that turned out to be far more fat than meat (kinda gross, actually). I love Chipotle but this location has become awful. The restaurant is dirty all times of the day, there are many fly's inside hanging around and they can't seem to put together a quality burrito anymore. I have spoke with management twice but nothing has gotten better. I was in a couple of nights ago, of course tables and the food prep areas were filthy. Fly's swarming around when I was trying to eat and the temp was uncomfortably warm. The burritos were not at chipotle standards. They were so small that parts of the tortilla were overlapping so much it was hard to bite through. The girl who made them rolled them into a ball shape. Burrito balls aren't fun to eat. This is absolutely the worst location I've ever been to. Usually the service is just OK. But the last three times I've gone they've been worse than I've ever seen. At 6 pm today and 8pm last Wednesday they were out of hardshell tacos... kinda sucks. It's an hour and 30 minutes to get to this chipotle from hayfork. The chipotle by my house in Temecula is like night and day compared to this one. It appears that everybody at this location does the bare minimum. I purchased a sofrita salad bowl on June 6, 2019. I took a few bites of the salad when I got home and discovered the food to be inedible. The sofrita salad was bitter and burned my tongue from the taste. I asked for my money back the next day and brought the salad back. I was told they could remake the salad. I do not want a remake of inedible food. I wanted my money back. You would think with the problems Chipotle has had with their food being tainted they would be faster to respond to a reasonable request for a refund. I probably will not return. Standard chipotle fare here which would normally get 4 stars because I like the food. But Chipotle corporate management needs to seriously rethink their mobile order process. Putting the mobile orders in front of the guests who take the time to show up clogs up the entire process making it easily 15-20 min when there are only a few people in line. Third and final visit to this location since moving to Redding a few months ago. My husband and I both got guacamole instead of meat. Mouth-puckering salty. We also paid extra for a side of chips and guacamole which was inedible due to excessive salt. When I asked if there was another batch we could try, they said no. No offer to replace or refund. Not only was the guacamole salty but so was the rice and the pinto beans. We have been to numerous other Chipotle locations, dozens of times. Salty is not the norm.
