This was unfortunately the worst experience I've had at a Chipotle. I waited over 30 minutes because there was only one person preparing orders while the cashier was busy refilling utensils. Another employee handled the meat, and one focused solely on online orders--leaving the in-store line completely stalled. Meanwhile, several staff members seemed more focused on making their own food and drinks than helping customers. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location--it's extremely slow, and you'll be waiting far longer than expected. read more

I went through a Chipotle addiction phase throughout high school and college. I probably visited this location alone 150+ times over the span of those 7 years, and not once have I seen any changes to its operations even though there are clear areas for improvement. The food itself usually tastes decent, but the crowd control and portion sizes are an entirely different story. There are no where near enough employees at the serving line and cash register. The line extends all the way to the entrance and sometimes even intrudes into the dining area during lunch/dinner hours. On multiple occasions, I've craved Chipotle but then changed my mind after seeing the ridiculous line. The popularity of this location doesn't speak to Chipotle's amazing customer experience; it merely reflects the lack of other semi-healthy fast food options nearby. However, Pearland's food scene has steadily expanded over the years and it's not certain whether customers will continue to put up with this restaurant's inefficient operations in the near future. Small portion sizes are more of a universal Chipotle problem, but it still deserves mentioning. Don't shy away from asking for extra. The only toppings that cost more for extra are meats, guac, and queso. Also, keep in mind that ordering on the app to save time will come at the near guarantee of small portions. Coming in about 30-45 minutes before closing time typically circumvents these problems, as workers usually provide more generous servings (a lot of the food would go in the garbage otherwise). To be clear, these are issues with management and not individual workers. I can't speak on anyone else's personal experiences, but I've never encountered a rude server or cashier here. I still enjoy the convenience of Chipotle during non-peak hours, but I'm looking the other way if its 12-1pm or 5-7pm. read more

Unbelievable!!! Please QA and ensure the meals are prepared as ordered. I really do not have to words right now, concerning my meal. I have never had an issue with ordering from you here in the past, however this one time and especially when I was looking forward to the meal, comes as a let down. Here's the why, I ordered a bowl that should have contained no meat (because I eat vegan) and of course several bites in and enjoying the dish, I find my bowl has both the meat substitute and chicken. Why???? Of course, I DoorDashed and that was 30mins no problem, so of course I didn't want a do over of time and the wait. So, this is one way to curve your appetite... While the person on meat is making orders, the food just sits out in the open waiting for the person on toppings go and refill the cheese all just to return and forget to replenish the lettuce. Took her a long time. Meanwhile, there are others that could restock but instead, one person is on her phone next to bagged food appearing to work. One guy is standing in socializing with another team member. The food counter is a MESS. Spillage is just on the counter collecting. The service at Chipotle on Broadway/288 sucks! Several times we have done takeout and items are missing from order. Today I decided to do a pickup, the young ladies that work pickup are so unprofessional. While they are laughing and talking in each other's face , make sure the paying customers are accommodated. Half of my order was missing and had to remind them what I paid for. This is utterly unacceptable to not get what you pay for. Whoever the manager is at this location is doing a terrible job of training and motivating the employees. Extremely profitable location with below par service is not good. One star is way too much. Stopped for a quick dinner initially to go, but was joined by a friend. I ha a burrito with chicken and pork and all the fixings! It was delicious! I paired that with a watermelon limeade. OMG! Never had it before, but I think I found my new drink. So refreshing! My friend had guacamole and chips. I refused to get started on those! I'd be broke! Apparently I went at a good time, because I was served as soon as I walked in at about 4:45 on a Monday. Service was quick and fairly friendly. The ambiance is casual, with a normal fast food noise level. I was happy to see a variety of drinks besides fountain drinks. This location is always busy. It's located in a busy shopping center. I've never dined in but there is plenty of seating and even at it's busiest I've never seen people not able to properly distance themselves. Online ordering at this location is the absolute worst at this location. I always ask for the salad dressing to mix in my bowl. Yummy. The pico was a little spicy but just right for the perfect taste. The customer service was decent but kinda slow. This location is disgusting. I went to pickup an online order and every time i do there is always an abundance of trash everywhere. The tables are always dirty and trash overflowing. This particular time i saw a roach crawling across the floor and it started climbing up someone's shoe. I had to tap him on the shoulder to let him know and it started running away and another patron smushed it. I left immediately. I also witnessed the person that was cutting the meat mess with his ear pod with the same gloved hand he was touching the meat with. Everyone knows how gross ear buds are. The lines are always impossibly long so I understand that it is always so busy so they are overwhelmed. So maybe Chipotle should hire more people. We tried ordering online but we always find pieces of meat in our food. Which is very tough being a vegetarian. We have ended up having to throw the food multiple times!! Also when order in the restaurant the employees are not at all sensitive about keeping the counters clean so meat does not get into vegetarian toppings. i wish i could love this chipotle but i cannot. it is literally always something no matter the time of day i go. they are always running out of things and it's frustrating to wait in that line then be told once you're at the counter. it's usually pretty well kept during the day. it looks inviting on the inside however at night it just seems like the shift is ending so it'll be handled once closed. i ordered a carne asada bowl. i get everything on the side because they overdo it with the scoop of sour cream. everything was cold and unseasoned. my steak was over well. the rice was lacking flavor and the corn was literally thawing. i could taste it defrosting as i crunched. i only go to this chipotle because its the closest in my area after a night workout. i must say during the day the staff is much better. there's a young guy with glasses and an older woman who's usually on the register who seem to be more aware than other staff. how can you go wrong with chipotle? read more

This Chipotle has the worst service! I came in at 7, and didn't receive my order until 8 pm. The line was long, which I was totally prepared for, but the customer service was terrible. The front line worker didn't want to serve me so she turned to another gentleman who was equally as bad. The hot chicken is never ready, the white rice was not prepared so they told me I had to get brown rice. When I asked the wait time for the white rice, they insisted "It'll be a min so you might as well get brown." Not realizing I am fluent in Spanish, he began insulting me to the female coworker in Spanish. This chipotle is always a mess. It seems that they don't have a present manager because a lot of the foods were mixed when they shouldn't be. The sour cream had green sauce and corn in it and some of the meats had the onions and peppers dropped on it because of the huge mess that they had up there. Someone in front of me had brought it up to the employees and the girl who was working the evening shift looked at him as if he was an idiot, the employees just took the onion off of the meat on his bowl and called it a day, they didn't say sorry. There's trash everywhere. The A/C is out. The line was 5-6 deep so I think I'll stick it out. Second, there's 9 bowls lined up on the assembly with 4 people DOING NOTHING. They are totally outmatched by the orders or unprepared with prepped ingredients. Eventually when it's my turn, I ask for a bowl with a tortilla on the side. The response was, and I quote exactly: "The machine broke." (Blank stares.) I say, "Okay, what machine?" "This." I say, "Okay. I'll skip the tortilla then." "White rice?" "No thanks, I'll have brown rice, please. (Glancing at the brown rice bucket, I notice it's empty.) Do you have brown rice?" "No." I turned around and walked out as did two other customers. It's just so frustrating. I got in the car and thought about the regional manager person who's trying to hold it all together by overseeing 5-10 stores and how it's a constant battle when he/she is forced to hire people who simply don't give a shit. My first job was at the Chipotle Midtown Houston... but since I live nearby I would come here to eat about 3x a week. I'm a familiar face there. I don't wanna bash anybody but I've gotta say to the employees and management, y'all gotta step it up. The food is very blan, no flavor. Or very saturated with lemon juice. This is not every single time but it's starting to be very consistent. Please get this establishment back up to where it needs to be. Communication wise, everyone is pretty nice although I've never gave them any problems. I just really want to see them step it up when it comes to preparing quality food.
