This is the worst chipotle experience I've ever had. Walked in with my friend 20 minutes before close to grab a bite a to eat after a long day working. We both were excited at first to see that they were still open. But they had started closing early, all the veggies were already on the counter and Explicit rap music was blaring from the kitchen. My friend ordered first a burrito which the boy working slapped together so ungraciously. Told my friend they were out of the veggies that sitting right in front of both us and refused to give them to us. He cursed at us both telling him "he's just trying to get out of here" rushed us through x5 speed. And charged us both for drinks we didn't order. We had just sat down to eat our "dinner" when he started barking at us that they were closed and we need to get the **** out of there. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Very disappointed in the customer service. Not to mention the food was by far the worst chipotle either of us had eaten. Garbage was overflowing and the whole room was enough to lose an appetite. So I have been going to Chipotle on a regular weekly basis for a couple years now! They have always given me a Military Discount! The last time I was in the Dixon, Il restaurant they refused my discount because they no longer except it! Luckily, the place was fairly busy, so I was able to observe how everyone else ordered while I waited in line. The music was a bit loud, and the person taking my order seemed to have difficulty hearing me. She was very nice and patient in taking my order. I ordered two burrito bowls, a burrito, and two orders of chips and guacamole to go. The food was all very tasty, although the guacamole was a little too salty. Everything seemed fresh and very flavorful. My children thought the chicken was too spicy, but they liked the rice and beans. I don't normally rate chain restaurants, but I have traveling to Moline for work for 2 months now and come here multiple times a week because it is very convenient to my work location and is a nice, quick option on my way to the hotel. I haven't frequented too many Chipotles and assume the food is the same at all of them, but it is definitely fresh here. I wanted to take a minute to rate this location however because I have been consistently blown away by service here. They always greet you with energy and remember your order. There is one woman who really goes out of her way to make your experience great. When she isn't behind the register, she is running around making sure the tables are clean and making sure everyone is enjoying their meal. I've gone there about three times in the weeks since they've opened. There's not too much to be said... With a chain the food is going to be the same no matter what. I was visiting the Quad Cities and we stopped in and grabbed some take out to our hotel. Brooke waited on us and we loved her. She was so friendly and she did not skimp on any ingredients. The other 2 employees I did not ask their name they were friendly too but we mostly spoke to Brooke. The food was average Chipotle we did not taste a difference from Molines VS Chicago Suburbs. This is one of the worst Chipolte's I have ever been to, it cost me $10.30 for a burrito bowl to go, which was only maybe enough to fill a small child. We ate at the Moline Chipotle today. We arrived just before they opened at 11:00 AM. The food is good, but not exactly cheap. They had the mood music playing so loud that the order taker and I had a hard time hearing each other. There was also a fair amount of noise coming from behind the counter, but I assume that is necessary. I'll probably eat there again, but probably not too often. read more
