I have stopped using Chipotle lane because they either mess up my order, give me the wrong order, or just barely put protein. Don't go inside!!! Besides being filthy, they pulled both the white rice AND the chicken from the inside line to the digital order line. Literally pulled the white rice WHILE I was ordered for my family. So one of us had to switch to brown rice. They didn't TELL anyone they were doing this....they just stopped taking order from the inside line until the guy in front of me got ticked after 10 minutes of no one making orders and spoke up. Then they said we are waiting on chicken. He said, "I didn't want chicken, so you've made me wait for 10 minutes for no reason". I mean, learn how to manage your cooking. This time around when I went to get for myself and 3 kids they were out of EVERY single meat, no sour cream, and no chips. They then proceeded to lock the doors( fire hazard) with customers in the store stating they need to catch up. This location is an abomination to any type of customer service. Myself being a business owner would be embarrassed with the management that goes on there. This is an ongoing theme at this location, I've been going to for a couple years. Hubby & I each ordered bowls to go on the app. I got Barbacoa, fajita veggies, black beans, pinto beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, tomato salsa & corn salsa. Our order pick up time was 6:30. We arrived at 6:28 to find our bowls were ready. We noticed that the bottom of the paper bag that contained our bowls was wet so we placed it on our Weather Tech floor mat. Guessing that the salsa from my bowl leaked out a bit. We live 7 minutes away & devoured our food as soon as we arrived home. Our bowls were hot, fresh & made exactly as ordered. Entered the restaurant, few people dining in and place is mess. Prep area is rather dirty. Soda machine broken. A person before left upset, another person came back twice as they messed up the to-go order and messed up their attempt to fix. Food was ok, if you don't mind under cooked rice. Few things, 1. The store is either understaffed or inefficient. There were 6 employees working but it still took about 5 minutes to wait on each customer start to finish. 2. The portions were actually very good and above what I would see at other locations. This is great, except for the fact that the steak I got was very charred and over cooked. Worst chipotle location I've ever been to. I went in at what should've been a non busy time around 2 Pm there was a long line no big deal odd rushes happen. Middletown location.. Ordered my food through the app.. picked it up in the drive thru window. It was not the right order. They had told me they were out of hard shell tacos and the manager told them to give me soft shell ones. I went inside to get a refund. The manager who's name was Catherine came out with an attitude.. told me they had hard shell tacos.. the girl working there informed her that they did not.. The manager obviously had no clue and when I observed the cleanliness of the restaurant, it was the worst I ever saw.. This location used to be good but has DRAMATICALLY fallen from grace over the last year or two. Food quality has taken a serious dive, the soda is indistinguishable from flavor to flavor, and prices only climb. Most recently, I chose pickup because the inside is disgusting, and the person at the window didn't even speak english! If you're dining in, expect a line out the door upon arrival and to wait at the very least 15 minutes. This place needs a wake up, it is a serious dump. The back of the toilet had dried urine all over, the sink was dirty and full garbage. Today I have to put another bad review for this place for this particular area Middletown. I think they are very low on staff which I can understand and I hate for the workers themselves because I know it can be very hard to prioritize what is most important. But anyway I put in a pickup order for the drive thru for 1050. I got to the window at 1053. I could see then that they were pretty busy but there were about 4 people working. One of the girls looked at me several times so I know someone knew I was there. But she as well as the others kept bagging orders that seemed to be going to the people in the restaurant. I think they would have kept going but I saw one of the girls say something to her and move their head towards my car as to say I had been waiting and that was about 1103. So when she finally came to the car she was friendly and apologized and I got my order. I did not go home but to the park and when I looked at the food the meat was very burned and it tasted terrible because of that. I asked for extra of the green salsa and I did not get that therefore it was very dry which is why I ask for extra in the first place. The overall quality was not good at all and has not been for the past few times I have gotten this. So I am afraid Chipotle you have lost a customer because I can't keep giving too much of my money and giving you too many chances. At least not at this Chipotle anyway. We order Chipotle at least once a week and have it delivered. Up until a couple of months ago everything was fresh and we NEVER had an issue. Since this new Chipotle's location opened, our delivery comes from this Middletown location. Food has been going down in quality/taste and this was my last straw. My Double chicken bowl with cauliflower rice (double upgrade to make this bowl over $10) had about a tablespoon of the rice and maybe a regular amount of chicken. The chicken was over salted, again. This location just recently opened. It's very clean and there was a gentleman cleaning tables and sweeping whenever someone left. It's one of the smaller locations but there's also outdoor seating. It was very slow service since it seemed like they didn't have much help. There was only one young lady running the line during lunch yesterday.
