As a student who has a lot to balance, sometimes the dinning hall isn't convenient. I have visited this location over 10+ times and the same situation occurs every-time. I recently visited Chipotle, and unfortunately, it was a another disappointing experience. I would give a 0 out of 5 if it were an option. The staff seemed unenthusiastic with rude attitudes, rushed orders, and the portion sizes were noticeably smaller than usual. I have found bits of plastic in my rice, and the employees have forgotten my chips numerous times. $15 for a chicken bowl with no extras is unacceptable! My bowl was overly soggy and lacked flavor, the rice was raw. Most of the ingredients just didn't taste fresh, the queso was gritty. The guacamole was bland and browned. The restaurant itself was not particularly clean, with tables that hadn't been wiped down properly, not to mention, the kitchen was covered in crumbs and smeared sauces. There were 5 people working, 3 of them were wandering around doing god knows what, 1 of them was cutting steak in slow motion, and the other was doing online orders with no help at all. Then, when I thought things couldn't get any worse, the worker up front then thought it was a great idea to randomly start sweeping the front line for 5 minutes, while the line was still at the door. It got to the point where I thought Chipotle started distributing underdeveloped robots to start working in their restaurant. This is my first ever review and probably my last. If I could do ZERO stars I would. This was the WORST Chipotle experience we have ever had. Where do I even start?? We placed an order at 9:10 on the Chipotle app and ordered a steak salad with guacamole and queso and chicken burrito bowl with queso and a side of chips. Paid IN FULL through the app and the total was $22.42. Our order was promised to be completed by 9:45 so we left our house promptly and got there at 9:30. Upon arriving at Chipotle we were greeted with, and I counted, 40 people also waiting outside for their order. Not to mention the people that walked up while we were waiting for our food. Now this is at 9:30, mind you, and the restaurant closes at 10pm. We waited for a total of one hour and fifteen minutes to get our order. Once we got the order, the chips, guacamole and queso were missing completely from the entire order. One of us also got a salad that had NO LETTUCE and no dressing on the side. What is the point of even ordering a salad then??? On top of all of this, there was no lid for the bowl or salad, just poorly wrapped tinfoil around the top of the container. We paid extra for the chips, did not get them. We paid extra for the guacamole, did not get it. We paid extra for the queso, did not get it. We waited over an HOUR to get the completely wrong order. We are big Chipotle fans, but experiences like this are what drive people to not want to come back to eat at your establishments. I am writing this review so that people are aware that this may be a reality if you order from this restaurant or other Chipotle locations and aren't completely blind sided like we were tonight.
