This is my second time stopping at this location and nothing has changed. The staff are STILL incredibly rude. I get that they work in fast food and are not in the nicest location but as a former fastfood worker, customer service should is the most important part of the job, so put a smile on your face and suck it up. Like others have mentioned the portions are extremely small compared to other franchises. I came in near closing for a bowl and they did not even fill half of it. Lastly, the bathroom were FILTHY! Urine on the floor and no toilet paper in any stall. I hope their health inspector pays them a random visit All together this place needs ALOT of work. My friend and I were driving down to San Diego on the I-5 and we were approaching the Grapevine, so drawn in by the red and yellow In N Out sign, we decided to stop by and rest. As we were contemplating where to eat, I excitedly pointed out that we were in Tejon Ranch, probably the best place we could've possibly decided to stop. There's in In N Out and McDonalds' across the street from each other harboring weathered travelers from the fatigue of the road. Then I looked out yonder, and rubbed my eyes in disbelief. Is this place place a mirage? I saw a CHIPOTLE!! Then I looked adjacent to it, and I saw Yogurtland! And a Starbucks, and a Panda Express, AND an American diner, called "Iron Skillet" or something. Road trips may be an integral part of American culture, but I never imagined that I would find a piece of home in rural Central California. I grew up in the South Bay/ Silicon Valley, so seeing these chains in a commuter town made me happy. So anyway, I went into Chipotle, and I saw a lot of college students presumably passing through on their way to their Spring Break destination. Since I wasn't particularly hungry, I got a Kid's Meal single taco with chips and a chocolate milk. It tasted just like the Chipotle back home. I'm glad the quality of these chains are consistent throughout California. This Chipotle has large speakers and lots of seating, so it's a good place to rest. If you want somewhere emptier and quieter, you could probably go to the Yogurtland next door and be utterly secluded. read more

Yeesh, definitely the most miserable Chipotle location I've been to. The entire line of employees here seemed pissed off or agitated, with absolutely no room for hospitality. I definitely tried my hardest and being a nice and cheerful customer but no one would have it. While the food itself was more or less the same as any other location, the portions specifically were horrendously smaller. I ordered a double meat bowl and received the stingiest portions of every component, from the beans and vegetables to, most importantly, the meat itself. The only thing I wasn't gypped on was the guacamole since I ordered that on the side. Even the maintenance of the utensil/tabasco bar was lacking, as was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Came in for dinner at 8:30 and ordered a quesadilla, but their machine was broken, ordered corn salsa, but they were out, ordered chips but they were out. I was thoroughly dissapointed, it seems they arent keeping up with restocking their food options. They also put the hot salsa on my salad when I asked for mild, making it totally inedible. We came here for dinner on our drive back to Southern California from Sacramento. I was surprised and glad they serve beer with the usual food offerings (I was a passenger). Maybe that's the new thing. The design of the large interior was a bit head scratching. With plenty open space available in the large interior, they placed a table with unmovable chairs very close to where customers usually queue up to order food. Server was funny. read more

Terrible service, long lines, no parking. Stopped here on our way home from LA. The husband didn't want typical fast food so we opted for Chipotle. The line was long! Everyone stops here because it's a large center of food and gas. I'm ok with waiting in line, as long as when I get to the front they have food (obviously) and the customer service is not bitchy. Well, the area manager was the first person taking orders. They are moving so quickly that they don't even care if they hear you correctly or not. They just want to move you along even if they get your order wrong. I ordered 2 bowls with the fajita veggies. The guy behind me also ordered veggies. The manager grabs the last remaining veggies and instead of giving them to one of my bowls he puts it on the order for the guy standing in line behind me. As a general rule it should be first come first serve, but I guess not here. Thinking there would be more veggies coming soon, I told the lady next to the manager that I still wanted veggie. She just kept pushing my bowls down the line and didn't listen to me. I told her again, and she said, "we don't have anymore" and then looked away and proceeded to push my bowls even further. I said to her that I still want veggies. Again she says they don't have anymore and looks away. I then say well what do I do, and she said, "I don't know. You can wait if you want." What kind of service is this? She could have told me they ran out and it would be a few minutes, at which point I would have said ok so I proceed to ask for the manager because of her terrible service. The manager of as the one that gave my veggies to the guy behind me. So he was useless. All he did was whisper to the lady, "keep the line moving, we don't have veggies." That is all! At this point it's like I'm yelling across because I'm towards the register and he's still at the front taking orders. So I'm the one looking like a bad person for yelling across the line. I told him his employee was being rude and he just said "sorry" and kept taking riders. This place is only in business because they don't get recurring customers. Most customers stop here as a pit stop and are likely to not stop again so they don't care if you leave unhappy. They still get their money. Never stopping here again. read more

I've always had good service here when I've passed through on a road trip. I suppose wait time and such depends on the days and the times that you stop, though my last visit was during the lunch rush and the wait wasn't bad at all. Plenty of seats too, so that I could eat inside. Also tried my first salad bowl here with sofritas and it was really good! A lot 'lighter' than the rice based bowls so I didn't feel like I had a food coma afterwards. My only warning, they were closed on Thanksgiving one time when I stopped. I've been to this Chipotle twice now. It's never been crowded. The service is friendly. The food was not so great the first time (my meat was a little dry) but the second time it seemed just fine. The bathrooms are clean. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Inside, it can be a little cold, but that's not really an issue. Not a bad pit stop. read more

Seriously? They don't even know how to check a gift card balance? It took five people trying to figure out how to work the register, and the sixth who apparently actually knew was too busy eating a taco plate to get up. I had tried looking at the balance on the website but that didn't work either and said I had to go into the store. I ended up using my cash to buy a burrito bowl and while I was eating, the staff member who was sweeping the floor was either oblivious or just an idiot and swept the dust literally into my face and food while I was sitting and eating. At least they couldn't screw the food up too bad, I give that four stars. Zero stars for service. They could hire robots with more intelligence and versatility. read more

I love Chipotle, my first time at this location and feel pretty ripped off. I always order the same plate with all the fixings but today at this place the server was quick and light with the scoops. We asked for extra rice so she gave us a half scoop twice. We ordered steak and she only scooped a half spoon again and at the end I let the cashier know that the previous server was very light with our serving so the server threw 5 more pieces of meat on top of our bowl and mumbled something to the cashier. On top of that the meat was cold and not very fresh.Long story short, wasn't a very satisfying meal and it's probably just this location because the traffic that comes in and out is never the same and so they don't have to deal with the consequences of being rude and stingy. read more

As soon as I walked up to the line she sighed right in front of me, I can totally tell I was an inconvenience to her. I don't mind paying extra if that's what I wanted but I don't want that much meat. I said I don't want that and she just ignored me. Stopped here just now on the way home. Ordered a quesarito! They charge you $3.50 extra like normal but they barely put any cheese on it to make it worth the extra cost. Their guacamole is brown and super gross to look at, and then I look over to the lettuce and it's all brown and disgusting. Not a pleasant eating experience. They need to learn how to prepare their ingredients better and employees should know what to serve and what not to serve when it looks super gross. read more

We weren't given a tray after paying for our food so we had to carry our food to our table. Also there wasn't any salt or pepper. Asked the cashier for salt and pepper and they gave me this nice container of salt but still no pepper. I was a bit hesitant to come here because of all the bad reviews but we just didn't want fast food burger driving through. Really glad we stopped here! The facility was clean. Service was really good and staff was courteous; it was a little hard to hear when communicating with the staff because of the masks and loud music, but I appreciated that the employees were wearing masks properly. The food was also good, consistent with any other Chipotle location. We'll definitely be back when driving through this area again! read more

This busy Chipotle is one of many restaurants located at the rest stop sitting down the hill from the Tejon pass off Laval Road. When driving to northern California, Laval road has always served as a stopping point to grab food, get gas and stretch before heading up 5/99. I didn't know that they built this area up so much now; they added a Chipotle some time ago though. This location was very busy during my trip before New Year's weekend. The parking lot is quite big because they share it with other restaurants, but it was really full this day. The line was literally out the door and I had to wait in the 35 degree cold that seemed to make the wait that much longer. The inside dining area is actually a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. There are plenty of large tables that can accommodate big parties and single seats for people in a hurry. The staff here seemed to take forever getting people's food through the assembly line. Maybe it was the cold or the tiredness of driving through LA traffic to get there but they had a rough time getting through that crowd of people. My chicken bowl turned out pretty decent after I kept telling them to add more fajitas to the bowl. Chipotle seems to have a big history on trying to skip over the veggies for some reason. They were decent on giving chicken and the rest of the ingredients though. Overall the restaurant was very clean for how busy it was, there was tons of people there yet the staff did a very good job cleaning it up. The bathrooms were also really clean, a lot better than using the travel spot across the freeway. This Chipotle did a decent job at fueling me up for my long 5 hour trip ahead. I just wish it wasn't freezing balls outside when they decided to slow down on the line. read more

Not a bad Chipotle when you making a road trip from Norcal to Socal. I usually make a stop for gas before attacking the Grapevine. The line here is very long during the peak times like lunch and dinner. I got the usual bowl with half chicken and half steak with a tortilla on the side. The steak and chicken had a lot of flavor and moreover hot. The portions at this location is fair as it was enough to fill be up along with leftovers. Even though there's a lot of people in line, the employees manage to serve everyone as fast as possible. Over this is a good place to stop for gas and eat on a long road trip. read more
