I discovered Chipotle at the Hauppauge location when they were opening in Suffolk. I was a frequent customer for years before new locations opened closer to my house. I happened to go to Hauppauge yesterday and I stopped for a quick bite. OMG - disgusting, dirty food containers.. the food was cold and limp; the chicken was 'shredded' and dry; the containers ALL dirty and grimy. Never again, this location will not last. For sanitary reasons, I did not buy anything, and I feel queasy just seeing that food in my mind. read more

This is my "home base" so I'm kinda sad to give them only 3 out of 5 stars. Truth of the matter tho, they are slow to put out food, especially on the app. I'm consistently waiting more time then app predicts. Worse part about it, when I order through the app it feels like they get Cheap with the food. It hasn't been one or two times, it's been many times. I ordered two meals through the ubereats app the Chipotle that fulfilled the order was located at 387 Smithtown Bypass in Hauppauge, NY. The order was placed at 5:35 pm coat $49 and arrived at 6:10 pm. When I opened the salads the guacamole resembled dog poop. I have eaten at various Chipotle's across the country and I have Never been served fresh guac that looked like this disgusting. My husband said he ate there a few weeks ago the vegan salad and got the runs very badly. If I had know this I would. not have ordered from this restaurant. Worst Chipotle I ever ordered from. Staff was rude and laughing at customers appearances. Got my order wrong several times. Rice was hard, guac was brown and steak tasted like they spilled a container of salt into the batch. Last time going to this location. I think Chipotle management needs to pay attention to this franchise before they ruin their reputation. Been to many this is by very far the worse. The rice is consistently raw or undercooked, the staff is a bit dodgy and "selective" with their service. I gave it a shot because it's close but always walk out aggregated and displeased with my meal at home. Fire everyone and start over. read more

I try not to leave reviews at chain places but this chipotle charged me $36 for a $15 meal and then tried to refund me only $8. They ended up paying me back in cash for $14 and I hope they didn't cancel my refund because if they do I will be back. I'm also never eating at ANY chipotle franchise again. Here's the Scoop: This is my first visit to a Chipotle Restaurant and it's similar to all the rest. The conveyor belt meals. You know them: Cabo Fresh, Nish Nosh etc. Now, they all have different seasonings on their meats but everything else is sort of the same ingredients you pile up in a bowl, taco or burrito. My experience at Chipotle was ok, after so many raves I really don't see the "Hype" Nish Nosh's meats are far more flavorful than Chipotle and Cabo Fresh is in 2nd place. Initially I tried Chipotle because a new one opened in Hauppauge but because they've had so many food scares I wasn't running in. The decor is in greys, tables are steel and a variety of seating combinations. It can hold about 25-30 comfortably. Located in the mall with Panera Bread & Stop & Shop. Staff is friendly and attentive when you're ordering your concoction. I don't feel to return because I wasn't impressed with the taste. The bathroom needs some work to spruce it up. Overall the 4 stars are for service and cleanliness of the restaurant. read more

I travel for business and frequent chipotle a lot. This location hands down ya the worst attitude problem- very skimpy portions . General scowl permeates the air and can't be masked by the stock radio they play to mask the atmosphere. Maybe chipotle is just slipping generally- maybe it's just this location. read more

Let me put it simple. I have legitimately been to chipotle's across this fine country we call USA. But, when I come home to Long Island I drive the extra few miles to go to this Chipotle. Not only do I get perfect service but the food is fresh every time. The staff is friendly and the manager I met recently is so knowledgeable about the product he sells. I believe his name is Eric? Anyway, he clearly loves his job and it also shows in the positive attitude of his staff. WAY TO GO!!! Keep up the great work! See you soon! read more
