My wife is taking me to pick up my car after work. I said, let's grab some tacos? I mentioned a place on 112, she said it's too authentic for her. Now she starts asking me what I want.. I see Burrito Blvd and quickly pull in. We walk into a clean looking restaurant. This place would best be described as a Chipotle lite. We each ordered three tacos, I ordered Pork, Steak and Shrimp for my protein base. What I noticed, the fixing bar is sparse. Two types of beans, peppers and onions, zucchini and corn. There's additional items that aren't transparent like queso and guacamole. My wife assumed the queso as free, there was a $2.50 charge. Not a big deal but the queso was off. The queso was room temperature and gloppy. It also tasted like flour, almost like a roux. No bueno. I ordered my tacos with simple items, I don't want any problem. We decided to stop by to grab a bite to go around 4pm. You walk in and it's very colorful and clean, perfect for photos. We're greeted as we walk up, and we've been to enough build your own burrito/burrito bowl places to know how it goes. Pretty upsetting however that the food wasn't being rotated or kept fresh despite it being only 4pm, almost all of the meats had already dried up. We got a burrito, 2 bowls and some nachos. The rice and chicken was bland, the steak and pico were ok. With all of the other Tex-Mex options around we probably won't be back to this one read more

Counter person was very friendly and helpful, as it was my first visit. Clean, welcoming restaurant. I ordered the Birria Tacos, a Beef Empanada, and a crunchy Chicken Taco, which they build according to your request. The Empanada was flavorful, but very greasy. Basic Taco, no complaints. The Birria Tacos, although tasty, were missing a serving with lime. And they were very, VERY greasy. The consumme it was served with was so greasy, it separated in the container, mostly oil on top, with a little consumme on the bottom. As you bit into them, as with the Empanada, grease just ran down your face. Not appetizing, and disappointing. Prices were reasonable, in line with similar restaurants. read more

Been wanting to try this place. It's nice to have a good taco place nearby. I got tacos and my wife got the birria tacos and burrito. The tacos were really bad, couldn't finish it. I tried the birria tacos and they seem ok. I would give it one more try. The employees were nice and place looked clean. Just need to step up the execution on the food. Like revamp the menu. Placed an order on Uber a half hour before they closed. Order wasn't cancelled until 15 minutes after closing. No call, no reason why and now everything else is closed. This was my first time trying this place and now they'll never get a second chance. I have to come back a day later and edit this. Tonight we ordered from salsa salsa in port Jeff. The Uber guy delivered the wrong order. We called the store after they closed and the owner answered and remade the food and delivered it himself. I will now drive four times as far to go there instead of ever try this place every time I'm in the mood for a burrito now. Good job. read more

One word is TERRIBLE. While some of the food looked good everyone in my family got some amount of food poisoning! The chicken quesadilla was the worst I've had looked like a stretched out Taco Bell one and tasted weird with white cheese or something. Overall disappointing and not a good look red flags also were the cold food and bland taste of most dishes. read more

This a franchise I didn't know about till they recently opened in the area. Similar menu and category as Chipotle and Moe's. The only difference is that the food tastes much better. Since they've opened my wife and I have been here 3 or 4 times. The burritos are huge, have great taste even without loading on sauces and are cooked to perfection. A great addition next to Starbucks and Poki Poke. read more
