They tried to charge me for queso and double protein when that was incorrect. When corrected the cashier wanted to argue with me about what I ordered bc of what was written on the top. He then went on to open the top of my order to see if there was queso- with NO gloves after I just wanted him handle cash from another customer. I insisted that he remade the order as that was unsanitary and unacceptable. Not once did he apologize. I have only been here once. When I was halfway through the line they announced they were out of lettuce, had no regular cups, and there was no ice for the drinks. I can live without lettuce, but I don't want a fountain drink of any size without some ice in it. Overall vibe was a little desperate and stressed. This is the most inconsistent Chipotle I've ever been to. There has been times when I have received the wrong order or something is missing. On several occasions we've gotten veggie burritos that were sloppily made that we now ask for double wrap. Jan2021 update: I enjoyed yesterday's bowl with riced cauliflower with my carne asada so much that I ordered it again today with carnitas; however, I suspect that they ran out because my to-go order had a side of guacamole and no cauliflower rice. I've been to this establishment a few different times. The food has always been good, although way overpriced. But this location is always disgusting! There is always food and trash all over the floor and tables, inside and outside. The drink station is never stocked even though they have people who could be doing these simple tasks The line to order is always long, although they have 10+ people working. The people working there don't seem to take much care or pride in their job either. No greeting, they appear as if they don't want to be there and are more interested in talking to each other or playing on their phones instead of doing the job they are getting paid to do. This last time the gentleman working the register was swearing and making fun of a customer as he left. Then when I paid he was texting on his phone and not paying any attention as I was trying to pay and leave. It's evident the days of people taking pride in their job is over. Arrived on 4/2/2025 for to go order. No brown beans. One older Hispanic ladies were arguing with an employee male because I got half steak and half Barbacoa for my bowl. I speak English but she was arguing with him in Spanish. I understood her when she said no half this and no half that to him. I asked for a receipt and they did not have receipt paper so they wanted me to walk around where the food was served and take a pic. I said that's ok and immediately she started speaking Spanish to all the other folks that was serving a backed up line of people. She was unprofessional and I'm pretty sure she cussed me out in Spanish. I just walked off and left. I never felt so down after leaving a place (chipotle) that is one of my favorite places to eat on top of that I'm standing my hard earned money to support a business and to turn around and treated badly all because I asked for half and half meat. The food is pretty good at this Chipotle location. My only complaint is that most of the employees are stingy with how much they put on the soft tacos. If I'm paying the same price for the tacos as the burritos and burrito bowls, then I should be able to get an equivalent amount of meat. I always have to ask "Can you put some more meat on that please?" I also have to do the same with most of the toppings. I'll continue to visit this location, but it sucks having to do that in order to get my money's worth. read more

I frequent a Chipotle in Mandeville (about every week or two) and receive a military discount. The young lady asked me if I was a veteran and offered it to me. I went to the Harahan location and was told Chipotle doesn't give military discounts. I guess this location's owner doesn't respect Veterans and military service. The kid manager was like we never give military discounts. I won't be back. I know my one sale will not affect them but hopefully people who support our armed services will also follow suit. This Chipotle is the BEST one in New Orleans area by far. Always hooked up, take out or in person. Hefty bowls/servings every time. Staff have all been nice, never annoyed if you want extra of something or light of something. Nice outside eating area at this location too. I have been coming here the past few weeks on my lunch break and after work and it has literally been horrible the first time I went I had a have chicken house steak bowl and I was charge as a steak bowl with chicken on the side so my price was ridiculous but I did not try to fight it because I have been craving chipotle all week however the steak was dry and the manager even told him that the steak was dry and still proceeded to serve the chicken off the line as it was almost empty.
