I finally tried Chipotle out for the first time and unfortunately I was not impressed. I wish I could give half stars because I would really rate it 3 1/2 but I can't round it up to a 4 based on my experience. Mostly unimpressed with the food vs price. I ordered a custom bowl with chicken, fajita veggies, lettuce, guacamole, and cheese. It was almost $10.00 which is outrageous in comparison to the food I received. I definitely don't think there was that much food and it wasn't anything special. I ordered a pick up order so maybe it sat for a few minutes (even though I gave them a time and was there a couple minutes early) and perhaps my meal would be better had I eaten it there when it was fresh off the grill. Also, I didn't try the big burrito which is a more popular item. I won't completely mark this off my list, but I'm definitely not in a hurry to return. read more

Ordered a chicken bowl with fajitas veggies, white rice, cheese, sour cream, lettuce and I got a sour cream rice bowl. While they didn't skimp on the rice I had 4 pieces of chicken, two bell pepper slices and like 5 pieces of lettuce. Big joke. Then I got two sides of cheese and a side of guacamole. Big mistake!! I have been going to Chipotle since 2007 when I use to attend Michigan State. I have travel all over USA and Canada and have had my chicken burrito bowl at all the stops I've made. However, this Chipotle experience was not good at all. And it hurts writing it since I'm a Flint native and have always wanted Flint to get a chipotle but when they did they definitely got the crappy people working there. So on with the review, I walk into the building and everything is just the way it's suppose to be with the chipotle decor. Now finally make it up the line and I've got only 3 people left in front of me and the guy starts shouting who all wants steak and the people that wanted it replied to them and he laughs and goes "ha well you'll have to wait 8 minutes until they are done." The part that blew my mind was that it wasn't a huge line but you had 5 people working on the grills and 3 people working the counter and 1 person swapping food from the grill to the front. So you had 9 people working and still managed to make people wait 8 mins for steak? Second thing, I get up to the and place my order of chicken bowl with tortilla on the side and for the first time ever I was told that I can't get a tortilla on the side it's extra. Psssh I have never paid for the tortilla so I decided I'll skip that. I go onto the next girls and she's asks what kind of rice beans and meat I want so I say them and she still gets them wrong. Finally after getting it right I noticed that the amount of food that was in my bowl was LITTLE. They were not putting the amount what most other chipotle shops do. So I opted to add lettuce which I normally don't and add guacamole to fill the empty spots in my bowl. Now I get it to go and walk over to my truck and open the bowl to eat it in there and find that the guac was all stuck to the lid which ended up making a mess. But here's the part that really annoyed me, you had sooo many empty stops in my bowl since you ripped me off with the meat rice and beans you could have spread the veggies around and the guac to fill the void areas but you decided to make a mountain which resulted in a mess. O stars. Usually out of something but that's not the worst. I tried to place an order online. Got an error message that Chipotle was having trouble processing payments, that I could place my order and pay in the store. I chose not to do that. No order placed yet my debit card was charged. The local store manager could do nothing for me but tell me I had to go to the website. No main number listed on the website, you can only fill out of complaint for or talk to an automated chat, which as useless as the store manager. I googled a main number for Chipotle and talked to a person who I could not understand. I think she took my information and she said Chipotle would investigate and contact me. It's been over 3 days and no one has contacted me. Customer service sucks on top of spotty food quality and other issues. read more

Super easy in and out with everything going on. Was in the restaurant less than 5 mins while ordering for a family of four. Everything was fresh and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Every one had masks and gloves on too which was great to see. read more

We were there at 7pm with a line to the door and as we were standing in line they announced they were out of chips for the evening. We finally make our way to place our order and as they were preparing our burrito bowls they announced they were out of shredded cheese! We asked if they are always as busy as they were, thinking maybe they didn't anticipate the amount of people they had that evening, to which the employee responds that they are always that busy. So why would they not have planned better than to run out of two key ingredients three hours before they close?! Baffling! read more

My Daughter eats here almost every Tuesday & Wednesday after her dance classes. We get there after 8:00pm so there is rarely a line at all. She alternates between bowls, burrito or tacos. I get a burrito ocassionally. Depending on who is serving you, portions vary. Usually I cut my burrito in half and save half for later. They are good out of the refrigerator or you can microwave, but I don't like hot lettuce. Daughter loves her food. Seems like a reasonable price for what you get, the burrito being the best value in my opinion. Drinks are another story. I would rather pay more for the burrito that I can't get anywhere else than pay $2.80 for a soda I can buy anywhere for less than $1. It is my restaurant pet peeve and afflicts many, not just Chipotle. read more

Stopped for a steak burrito bowl on 5/8/2018. The line was out the door. Very slow service. Got 2 orders to go. This was the worst food I have ever tasted. The steak was grizzly and uneatible. My husband and I had to pick all of the meat out of the bowl. This was not good meat and neither of us will ever go back. Overpriced and not good. read more

Went to this particular chipotle in Flint. I was very excited to try it but boy was I disappointed. The staff was less than eager to accommodate my wants . It seemed as if I was bothering them. I love Chipotle and usually drive to Auburn Hills to get it because it's the closest one to Flint. I was so excited when I heard a new Chipotle restaurant was opening in Flint and I went for the first time this week. When I arrived, there was only one person in front of me in line. We were both asked to wait while the 10+ workers stood behind the counter and talked to each other. Eventually one girl came over to start making our food but the rest of the crew just stood and did nothing! It doesn't make sense to have that many workers if they're not going to do anything. One blonde girl with a braid was leaving her shift and YELLED to all of her coworkers to say goodbye. Super obnoxious. When I went to pay I had to wait again while 3 people tried to work the register. My food was good but the workers at this Chipotle made my experience terrible. These workers need to focus more on customer service. You're not getting paid to stand around and gossip! read more
