I've been going to Chipotle for over 20 years. It's one of my favorite places to eat. I've visited this one since it came to Dunkirk. I ordered my usual, meat, with some toppings, including sour cream. I've learned that if I ask for more sour cream, they give me a full scoop more, and the meal becomes soupy. So I ask for more sour cream in a cup so I can control the amount. Last week I was charged $1.65 for the sour cream in a cup. I asked about it, and she said it's because it was already on the bowl. Chipotle CEO says, "if you want more food, just ask." And if it's something they charge for, they are supposed to tell you. I'm very dissatisfied with this. read more

This is one of my go to Chipotle locations. I do not think the rating reflects this location fairly at all. Staff are always friendly and I am always able to get what I want when I come here. It can be busy sometime like any fast food spot. Today I got a burrito and a bowl. My items were made with generous portions. Thank you. read more

I went in and not only did i wait for 30 mins but it does 20 dollars for a bowl of chicken and rice which is outrageous. Also the proportion was terrible so much extra space and didn't fill it up not even half way. The table and chairs were also terribly cleaned as if they didn't even try and left the previous persons food behind. read more

My wife and I ordered dinner at 6:00 PM on Memorial Day. We had none of the problems that others have claimed to have. Employees come and go. The food is what matters most. The service was fast, polite and attentive. The last review was 10 months ago. A current review is long overdue. We ordered a Carnitas bowl, a Pollo Asado salad and a drink. Our Carnitas bowl had shredded pork, brown rice, black beans, green chili salsa, corn, diced tomato salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese and lettuce. The pork was tender and moist with a good flavor from the pork, herbs and spices. Their pork is slow-cooked with juniper berries, bay leaves, dried thyme, salt and pepper. This bowl had a lot of ingredients in it and they worked well together. It was very satisfying and filling. The Pollo Asado salad had chicken, brown rice, black beans, green chili salsa, hot red chili salsa, diced tomato salsa, corn, sour cream, shredded cheese, lettuce and honey vinaigrette dressing. The honey vinaigrette consists of water, honey, red wine vinegar, rice bran oil, oregano, garlic, cumin, chipotle chili, black pepper and salt. The vinaigrette was quite sour and mildly sweet. When it was mixed into the salad, the sourness decreased to a level that was just right. The chicken was marinated with garlic, Guajillo peppers, lime and cilantro. The chicken was tender and moist. There was a mild flavor of lime and cilantro. Pepper was the predominant flavor. All of the ingredients looked and tasted fresh. This was an excellent salad for taste, but not for dieting. FYI, the tomato salsa consists of a mixture of fresh tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lemon juice, lime juice, and salt. It is mildly hot. The dining room and restrooms were very clean. They have plastic utensils, napkins and straws at the self-serve counter. Drinks were self-serve. They had Diet Coke, Coca-Cola, Sprite, Pibb, Minute Maid lemonade, Barq's root beer, organic lemonade, organic mandarin agua fresca and organic berry agua fresca. The organic lemonade is made with real lemons, cane sugar and turmeric. The mandarin agua fresca contains tart citrus, oranges, tangerines, sugar, cardamom and turmeric. The berry agua fresca contains pomegranates, strawberries, cherries, sugar and a hint of apple cider vinegar. Chipotle claims that their organic drinks are non-GMO and certified organic. For our drink, my wife mixed some of the organic lemonade into the berry agua fresca. This added some lemon zestiness to the good berry flavors. Overall, this restaurant is as good as it gets for a Chipotle, so I recommend it. FYI, McDonald's sold all of their shares in Chipotle in 2006 for approximately $1.5 billion. They have no ownership in Chipotle. read more

Not only do they give your order to someone else then remake it and assure you that you're good to go and somehow manage not to give you the entire order. Portions suck. $25 for a bowl with extra steak and a side tortilla is outrageous. I'm so done with Chipotle. I've been dining at multiple chipotles since 2005/2006 and this past year the quality of everything is repulsive. read more

I knew when I saw the girl put the carnitas on the taco it was not 4 oz, my ASS! Even the two customers behind me were saying it was hardly anything on the tacos. I confronted you all and you said no it's 4 oz. i almost walked out and let you have your food. It's pathetic. Just to prove to you I went home and put your carnitas in the 2.5 oz Jell-O shot container. Your serving was half of that! I freakin knew it. The service was quick and attentive. They were polite even though i had a large order. But what matters most is the food, and this was garbage, the absolute worst chipotle experience my family has ever experienced, guacamole was brown and tasted like paste, the salad greens were skimpy and what was there was brown. The only reason i didn't catch it when i purchased was i was running in between schools, practice and back to school. This is it for me, no more chipotle... I'm done. At the very least this place needs a professional manager that understands FRESH food preparation. This was what 2/4 of my tacos looked like. MAYBE 2 pieces of chicken in it. This chipotle in Dunkirk, MD is going down the drain very fast. The second this place gets busy the quality and quantity goes down. The customer service is awful. I understand the prices of everything are rising, but if I'm going to pay the prices I would at least like to get chicken in my chicken taco. I finally decided I won't be going there anymore. It seems like they consistently get the order wrong. Every single time we go, something is left out. Chips and guac, kids juices, etc. today was no different. Plus, they got the entrees wrong too. Avoid this place if you can. If you have to eat here, physically inspect each item. If you do, you will find, you too, are probably missing something. Here we are still waiting and it took another 25 minutes watching people walk all over with nothing in their hands ... total chaos! I go to chipotle's all over the country and this one by far had the rudest employee I have ever met, typically when something goes wrong and the manager talks to you they are kind and caring but this could not have been farther then my experience. The manager was extremely short with me and was borderline disrespectful. He is rude to both employees and customers, and is unfit to be leading an example at a fine establishment such as chipotle, I will not be recommending this chipotle to anyone and will be making a 30 min drive to another one so I can avoid the awful manager that runs this one. read more

Literally so disappointed. I've been to this location numerous times before, but this is by far the worst experience i've had at this place. I did a pick up order for 5:20, got there right on the dot, made the 10 minute trip home, to find my food to be cold. I've showed up 20 minutes late to pick up my order, driven triple the amount of time back home and my food was still somewhat warm. Ofcourse, since i was eating it at home i could heat it up (which most people wouldn't do because nobody likes hot lettuce). But that wasn't the only issue. The meat was cold, dry, bland, and visibly old (grayish). it tasted as if it had been sitting there for hours. bad day to get double meat. Food was good and employees where friendly but the manager is rudest person I have dealt with in a customer service roll. He has been rude twice to me and have seen him be rude to other customers and his employees. I understand why there seems to be new employees all the time. So the first time I asked for hot sauce in a cup since the hot sauces where behind the counter and he put a very small amount so I asked for a little more, he proceeded to point across the parking lot to giant grocery store and told me if I want more I can go get it from there. The second time was last week. I ordered online and went in to get my order I sat waiting for my order because I was a little early was scheduled to be ready at 1:50pm I got there 5 minutes early. I sat there till around 2 and one of the employees asked what name I was waiting for and I told her so she looked up my name and didn't see it so she got the manager. He was extremely short told me he didn't see my name and walked off. I went out to my car and got my phone to show him the confirmation of my order. When I came back in the friendly employee went and got the manager again so I could show him my confirmation of my order and the pickup time at that location. The manager told me that doesn't matter he wanted me to show him the transaction in my bank account. I told him that's ridiculous but I pulled it up and showed him and it said pending so he blew it off and said it's pending that doesn't mean it's been paid. We had a slightly heated exchange and I got my burrito after pressing for what I paid for after he stormed off in a temper tantrum. I feel bad for ever employee that works for this guy, the employees apologized to me and said he does this a lot. Again the employees have always been friendly but the has made it a horrible experience. I will never go back to this chipotle again. Also the next day the charge was complete in my bank account so I did pay for my burrito. read more
