I have NEVER experienced this. I use the Chipotle app and have many times. I ordered 4 meals an hour and twenty minutes before close on the app at 9:30pm. I gave a little extra time as a pick up time to prepare the food for pick up at 10pm. Right after I missed a call from a random number and tried to immediately called back. No answer. Voicemail of pans and employees talking. I tried to reach more than once. Then saw a text when arriving to the restaurant. When I enter I say "Hey I think I'm the girl you're texting." (I'll attach the texts) She says sorry that they are out of food. I'm very nice and understand because everyone has busy nights. Before I leave I check the chipotle app. It is now says that I've picked up my order. But I haven't? I walk up to the cashier again. "Hi again, what do I do when it says I've picked up my food to get a refund? It states I have my food but I don't." The employee Kerra responds, "oh you'll have to go on the app. There is nothing I can do about that." I'm so confused. I informed her that I did not know how to go on the app and do this. (Meanwhile my kids are waiting at home for food) She has another employee come out and hit customer service on the app in my phone. I'm now waiting in a loop on the app for someone to chat with me. I nicely state I will wait until the app answers, before I leave. She then hands me the managers business cards and explains that if I don't get an answer on my app, I can call them in the morning. I respond saying, "this really shouldn't be my problem to resolve. It is late and I have to leave here to pick up food for myself and others. If this wasn't so much money I wouldn't mind, but somehow an employee has put in that I picked up my food. I didn't. It shouldn't be this hard to get a refund." Kerra informed that when the mangers take off on weekends not every shift does their job, and others get stuck with the back up. I again said, "I understand this is unfortunate, but I deserve a refund. I have now texted both the mangers on these business cards to let them know this is happening. I'm sorry you have had a bad night." At this point Kerra states she will now call her manager and runs to the back. Another employee returns and states that she will get my refund from the register. While this is happening DoorDash, 2 customers, and two cops come in that ordered food. These customers were not turned away. Orders were ready. Kerra gets upset with me. She states while her coworker is refunding my order that I should have understood and that she had a long night. She gets so loud the cops look at her. Her coworker apologizes. I apologize again to her, and even the cops waiting to pay for their food behind me. I just wanted a refund. I tapped my phone like normal for the refund and was able to get a receipt showing I was refunded AFTER 25 MINUTES !!!! Everyone should know to NOT use the app here!! If you dare to order CALL AHEAD to make sure they actually have food. This Chipotle closes at 11pm. They ran out of food at 9:30pm. read more

Terrible customer service and unclean environment!!! Was not addressed when approached to counter, was told "Will be with you in one minute" after waiting 10 minutes watching all of the workers talk, laugh, and use large amounts of profanity. Then afterwards, continued to wait another 5 minutes. Not to mention it was a line behind me. Also most to none of the workers wear hairnets or gloves which is extremely unsanitary. Food is spilt and smeared on counters. I do not recommend this chipotle to anyone. read more

I stopped by this location today to pick up a quick snack on my break. I requested a kids portion of the taco meal hold the tortilla shells as I do not eat those while on my diet. The positive about this experience is the gentleman that greeted me and took my order was very friendly and began to prepare my order as soon as I got to the line. All I want was rice, beans, and a side of guacamole. There is a young lady at the front who began to question the other employee about why he put rice in a certain compartment of the kids plate and to me it was unprofessional the way she was speaking to him. The gentleman disappeared. I'm assuming maybe out of embarrassment or possibly he had something else he needed to do in the back. The female employee proceeded to keep asking others what to ring my order up as and I stated "It's a kid's meal". I ordered this exact thing at multiple locations and there has never been such commotion. I don't like to give bad reviews, because I know that people could be having a bad day or overwhelmed, but I do hope that this is taken into consideration to be kinder to coworkers and make customers feel more welcomed than a problem because you are unsure of something. This is the WORST and most ghetto Chipotle in Cabarrus! I went at 10:45 in the morning stood there and watched both managers acting like they were prepping and not once was I acknowledged! Stood there for 10 minutes to be told they didn't have chicken and had to go to another location. The workers are unprofessional and by the time I go in the afternoon it's always something they're out of!! The one in Harrisburg is much nicer and the staff may be younger but they're more professional and polite. Oh and I never hear they are out of anything on the menu read more

I picked up my food today and when I walked in to get it I was appalled by the disrespect the manager was giving to a customer. The manager was yelling at a customer about the portion size and saying that since he was there all portions were up to his standards. I should've listened to all the reviews about how poorly the customer service is at this location; but I wanted to see for myself (give them a fair shot) and I definitely found out quick that the claims are legit. Went around 745pm and was told they were out of chips...ok, stuff happens...except for the fact I could see an employee in the back making fresh chips. The lady at the counter was probably the rudest I've ever encountered in my 43 years on earth....she said chips were for online orders only after telling me they were out and became very combative. She ended up telling the employee in the back to give me some "d*** chips" and threw the F word in my direction multiple times too stating I don't know anything about what goes on in foodservice-let me tell u buckaroo; I've worked in foodservice for 20 years...I know just about everything there is to know lol. (I didn't say that but I was definitely thinking it)....I reached out to their customer "support" team to make them aware of the issue and that was as much of a waste of time as me trying this place out in the first place...they sent me a generic response saying next time I go they will do a better job. It's very clear they could care less about customers and who represents their brand. Please, stay as far away from this joke of a restaurant as possible. Absolutely horrible service. This is the 2nd time I have gone into this location at lunch time and they did not have any chicken or steak. Today I asked for steak and she told me they did not have any. "as I was starring at the freshly cooked steak behind her. I simply asked what about that steak and she replied the lady who has to cut it is not available right now. I then asked the manager how they could have such horrible customer service. When I asked him if there was any of the 6 ppl able to use a knife to cut the steak he stood silently and did not respond. Just absolutely horrible customer service. I guess it depends on if this location gets more staff or something because usually when I go this location it's fully staffed and the line is moving. Today none of that there was like a 5-6 person line at the pick up area because there was only 3 people 2 at the mobile station and 1 preparing food. Thankfully I had placed a mobile order because apparently they weren't taking walk in orders. My food was cold by the time I finally received it. Customer Service was good, just with an attitude. I asked could they clean the counter before they started on my food. The server stated we had a line so we couldn't clean. I asked the customers behind me do they mind if they cleaned before they started on our food, they said please, for the server to clean the counter. The 1st side only needed a quick wipe down. The 2nd side (server named Sebastian) needed a whole, wipe down on the front and back of each section. I wish I would have taken a before picture because it was just horrible. CUSTOMER SERVICE & CLEANLINESS, at Chipotle should be 1st then quality of food etc.i gave a 2 bc they did what I asked but with an attitude, food was good. Someone from the Regional or Corporate Office needs to pop in as a Customer and see how it's done. This review is for the Chipotle at 1463 Concord Parkwayin Concord NC. We dined there at approximately 4 pm during the week. Where to start? The service was good. the food, fresh and tasty. Issues.....the drink area messy, sloppy, dirty. The non carbonated drinks, or lemonade type drinks were mostly empty. The floor? filthy. Food, trash, straw papers, etc. on the floor. Basically, the entire floor at this location looked as if it hasn't been swept, cleaned in days if not weeks. Both indoor large trash cans were full and overflowing. The ladies room? paper towels, etc. thrown on the floor. In addition, there was no toilet paper in the entire ladies room. The trash inside the ladies room was overflowing. Meanwhile, the workers were not overly busy. We saw some of the workers chitchatting or just standing around waiting for customers to walk in. This was a horrible, disgusting experience. We've never been to a Chipotle location that was so disgusting as this one. read more

We arrived with one customer ahead of us. The gentleman behind the counter took his time (aka about 20 minutes) to get to us, meandering by the register after the customer had checked out. A line was behind us the whole time. When we got up to order, his personality was that of a wet paper bag and we were an inconvenience. We ordered two kids quesadillas, and when we received these, the cheese was not melted at all - just cheese on a folded tortilla. They were out of white rice, steak, mild salsa, and others. When we finally checked out and got our drinks, the drink machine was messed up. There were two forks left, surrounded by trash inside of their vessel. I was going to overlook the commotion online about chipotle giving horrible portions, people ordering and not paying, and all the negative commotion online but going to 2 different locations just to find I wasted my time, money, and gas just to find out they don't have any hard tacos. The customer service I received today was absolutely terrible, clearly the workers don't wanna be there and need to find a career doing something they enjoy. I told the girl I want a steak burrito bowl her response "just steak? No rice or beans?" LIKE ARE U EFFIN KIDDING ME? Duhhh! He refused to give me my food in a bowl like I requested and have done a million times in the past, and then he was rude to the lady in front of me who said her steak didn't taste right and told her she would have to wait in the line again right after a massive crowd walked in. I stop here from time to time. Today was exceptionally not clean!! As they were making my burrito, it seemed clear to me that they did not have a towel in sight. There were drippings of cheese and sour cream and salsa all over the counter where everybody's order was being drug through on the aluminum foil. Then when I got to the drink station, where they have their different flavors of tea, the machine was not running properly and was not rotating the juice the way that it is supposed to. It was all stagnant and it looks like the machine has not been cleaned in months or taken apart at the least. I have attached a picture of the drink machine. There was also tables that were dirty and trash on the floor, as well as table tents on the floor. Sometimes they lock the doors if you come in person and only take online. Sometimes they dont have basic stuff they're supposed to have. I ordered on doordash and there was no protein on my bowl so I drove and asked for a manager she was just as bad as a regular worker. This is the worst chipotle location I've been to. It is the closest to my house but I won't be going anymore. Everytime I've been, something is wrong. No rice, no chicken, no queso, register is down, employees can't follow simple instructions, out of utensils. All of this and this is my third visit.
