Poor planning. No white or brown rice and no pinto beans. This was at 6:20pm on Sunday 8/25. Sooo who didn't watch the line and see there was soon to be a need to cook these things. One thing I can say is there is alway several people working in the back and only one person attending to the line. One good thing I noticed, the prep table is always dirty, but this one staff member (same on making the orders) made sure to wipe down the space. Probably the worst chipotle in all of Texas and I've been to a lot lol. Horrible customer service, cashiers dont know how to give change back, and the food doesn't taste right. I ordered a bowl to go and the lady left me there for almost 5 minutes after putting my rice and meat in my bowl DURING rush hour to go to the back then another worker came up and had an attitude asking me what else do I want. This location is piss poor I have ordered through the app numerous times and each time I order they give me a smaller version versus me going in I have been there multiple times where the rice is hard sometimes they also will have you wait in the extending amount of time for certain ingredients This simply doesn't happen when I go to locations up north. Almost every other food chain around De Soto Lancaster in Cedar Hill has piss poor customer service, and flu service. This experience has turned me off from chipotle. Literally need to take a break, because the service and food is just not up to par these days. I came in and there was only 1 person on the food prep line. ONE. Then she couldn't check people out so we all just stood there for about 15 mins until another person came to check us out. The food was actually decent......the service was horrible. I walked in about 9:00 and was about the 3rd person in line. While waiting, another customer was being served and requested cheese. The young lady taking the order yelled out, WE ARE OUT OF CHEESE. (umm ok) Then the guest asked for grilled vegetables, she yelled WE ARE OUT OF VEGETABLES AND CHEESE. At this point I'm just laughing inside and shaking my head because as she was yelling and preparing the food, her demeanor was full of attitude. I just don't understand why we have to be subjected to this type of service in certain parts of town. Then WE wonder why we have no businesses and have to drive North for good food and shopping. So, once I arrived closer to the register, I noticed the young lady prepare a bowl, then went to the side area and opened a container and topped it with CHEESE! Me being ME, I politely mentioned, hey I noticed you have cheese but told us you didn't have any. She said this is for online orders, food that has already been paid for. Hmmmm, I get it but then I don't. I truly believe the items that were OUT, were just items they didn't want to refill because it was close to closing time (an hour away). But if you're going to limit customers, why not just shut down once you run out. It's not fair to consumers to be expected to just accept the level of service that the staff decides to give. I'm sure the young ladies were tired, frustrated and just ready to go home but we were an hour from closing time, but what did WE do to you? I would understand if it were 9:42 when I arrived. No it was 9:02. Can we do better for the sake of the customers that continue to support these businesses. Now I will say that I do not frequent Chipotle often, so maybe this is normal......but it's definitely abnormal for me as a paying customer. This restaurant is very unclean. There's food all over the dining area with a the area where they prepare your food. There's crumbs there's cheese there's meat and rice all over. I had to ask them to at least wipe up the food before they drag my bowl across the counter to add food to it. Not the best location, but upside, there was no line at 6pm and the food did taste fresh. Located right by the Five guys in Cedar Hill off 67, this is your typical Chipotle restaurant. Downsides include not knowing what a Keto bowl consisted of and the appearance behind the sneeze guards appeared very messy . Also they dumped a chunk of cheese heavy handedly onto our bowls , outweighing the small amount of meat that they gave us. Hopefully your next experience will also be great, both food and service. Also, it's worth mentioning that Destiny brings on the smile and will ASK if you want more sour cream, lettuce and/or cheese. Update: I submitted this same review to the link Chipotle corporate left in their automated comment here. I doubt that anything will ever be done or change. Just do yourself a favor & don't go to this location. Cedar Hill, TX location has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a Chipotle. The employees do not keep food items stocked, ask people to wait for 20 minutes to refill the items, then rush everyone and get angry at the register if you don't go quick enough or want to scan the app coupons. Im a very patient person because I've worked in food service myself but this place is over the top on attitude and lack of respect or communication with their customers. read more

Wow. I have never seen such horrible service at a Chipotle in my life. Upon entering the restaurant the music was very loud but the store appeared generally clean and 6 people working. Mind you I went in at 3pm on a Thursday so it was not busy. I felt like the line was moving slowly but when I finally looked at my phone I realized I had been waiting 15 min already and had barely moved. When i entered there were only 5 people in front of me. At 17 min I finally got to the front and they are out of fajita veggies and none cooking. The chicken was out as well and they only had one container ready to replace. By this time there is a line of at least 10 behind me. The pico does not look correct at all. It is just tomatoes. There are no onions, cilantro or lime on it at all. See picture. I asked the staff what was wrong with it and he said nothing the mix is at the bottom but it was not. He stirred it and none came up. I paid and walked out. This place is a train wreck and needs new management and staff that have a sense of urgency and care. These things are obviously lacking here. Waited in line for 20 minutes, I had 10 people in front of me and they were only able to for fill 2 persons orders. After that it appeared to be shift change at 5:30pm. Everyone stopped working and stopped helping people in line. I don't get it!! There was no sense of urgency to help people in line and there was about 18 people waiting. I'm on break from work, I don't want to waste my time waiting in line. I get you can order ahead of time but even those people coming in- their orders weren't ready either. The WORST ran Chipotle in franchise history. This place is poorly run, dirty and unkept during busy times... they run out of lettuce, fajita veggies on a daily base. Management constantly struggles with supply chain errors and quantity supply of basic items. I would not recommend. I really don't want to give them one star, they deserve a minus 5 stars., I went in about 7:45 and there was only about 5 ppl in line so I figured ok it won't be long, it took me until almost 9pm. They were making us wait while everyone on the serving line were filling pick up orders, so at this point the first guy made our bowls and slid them down for the toppings but they sat there bc of all those pick up orders. The food was cold and sloppy! There was a young lady sweeping where employees stand on serving line just making them move to accommodate her sweeping, it was bad! The serving area was so nasty looking, it just looked like no one cared! I will never visit this location again! Management needs to really pay more attention! read more
