Chip cookies is one of my favorite cookie spots, and I had no idea they opened a location so close to me! After dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant, we discovered there's a chip cookies literally a minute away- such a great surprise. I love how you can choose the topping you want, which makes each cookie feel customized. The price are fantastic, the service is great, and the cookies are delicious. The restaurant is small and cozy. While they're not as big as Crumbl's, I honestly think they taste even better! Definitely recommend

The first thing that caught our attention about this place was the display outside advertising their cookie flavors. They had so many creative combinations with different toppings and components that it immediately drew us in. Everything sounded so unique and over-the-top in the best way. The shop itself is pretty small inside. There's only one table where you can sit, probably while waiting for your order, but the cookies come out fairly quickly so it wasn't an issue. This was our first time visiting and we learned that it's basically a cookie bar. They have different cookie bases and toppings so you can build your own cookie if you want. They also have recommended cookies and fan favorites, which are the ones they advertise outside--and that's exactly what we decided to go with. We ordered a box of four, and oh my God... these cookies are THICK. They're chewy, soft, and definitely on the sweeter side. Every bite was packed with flavor and you could taste every single component that was layered into the cookie. They really don't hold back with the toppings. Overall, it was such a fun experience and the cookies definitely lived up to the hype. I would absolutely come back again to try more flavors.

Left lower corner tres leche cookie, two right are coconut chocolate chip and the upper left is just a chocolate chip.

These cookies are very heavy. You pick your cookie base and the add the toppings you like on your cookie kind of reminded us of a biscuit. We got the tres leches, coconut chocolate chip, and chocolate chip. They are very very sweet! Service was great. The place is clean. Good place to have a coffee with your cookie.

Chocolate chip cookie the OG, WOW so good! The service was great! I had never heard of this place until today. Small place but perfect to get your cookie and go. Definitely will go back!

I didn't know much about this place before visiting, I just wanted a good cookie after dinner. We walked into an empty store, and the menu is very simple. They only offer a handful of cookie flavors, but you can customize them with different toppings. Each cookie is around $5-6, so we opted for the four-pack to save a little and try a variety. Unfortunately, the cookies just weren't my favorite. They're very thick, round cookies (not flat at all), and the centers were quite underbaked and almost raw in the thickest part. The taste and texture weren't to my liking. I tried all four, but after a few days of the leftover cookies siting on the counter , I ended up throwing them away. The space itself is nice, though very sparse and minimal. I can see how someone who loves cookie dough-style or very gooey cookies would enjoy this place -- it's just not my thing. Service was nice . Try it out if you like cookie dough soft cookies, otherwise you may be disappointed like me .

This is my first time here at the Fair Oaks Blvd location. The reasoning for the low star rating is because we ordered 1 single cookie & 3 chip zookies and got no toppings on anything. The worker did not ask us what toppings we wanted. He seemed like he just wanted us out. For the single cookie, I asked what comes with it and he explained it came with toppings and whipped cream then he proceeded to not give me any of that. Very disappointed. Other than that, the cookies and ice cream were delicious. Sadly won't be returning.

So yummy

Must have!! OG chocolate chip!! It's warm and gooey. The staff were so nice and informative explaining all the cookies!! The vanilla ice cream is so good too. High quality!!

Iced Latte--I really enjoyed it!

This shop is located at The Boulevard in the Campus Commons neighborhood. I came with the family on a weekend afternoon. The space was clean, bright, & airy. There wasn't much to the shop except the order counter. This is strictly a pick up & go place with no seating. Only one lady was working & the couple ahead of us had lots of questions. While she was still with them, she did acknowledge us & let us know she'd be with us soon. I imagine that things can get backed up quickly with more customers. Once she got to us, she apologized for the wait. The space is very open, so sound echoes. A handful of people came in after us who were laughing & conversing, but it was enough to make it hard to talk with the worker & hear each other. I ended up choosing a Cocoa cookie from the display choices. The cookie that came out was a lot taller & less spread out than the display. I wasn't planning on adding toppings, but if I had, there wasn't a lot of good real estate on the uneven top. The cookie had a nice crisp crust to the outside, but was super tender & soft inside. It was cakey & could easily be mushed with finger pressure. It wasn't overly sweet & had a light chocolate flavor. I also got an iced latte. It was bold & one of the yummier lattes I've had. I saw they serve Devout Coffee. I really enjoyed the flavor & thought it paired well with the cookie. A tasty treat can definitely be had here.

We decided to stop in for a sweet treat after dining at Tasty Dumpling next door. We ordered the Chip Fan Favorites since we couldn't decide on a flavor, Oreo Dunk, BTS, Tres Leches and Choconut. If you love sweet, maybe even sickenly so and wouldn't mind spending a little extra dough, than these Chip Fan Favorites are for you! I'd return for the de-liciously flavorful Tres Leches butter cookie! 3/5 stars from our family of 4 until we try more flavors! Chip Cookies got its start in 2016 from a mama's pregnancy cravings and now has multiple locations! They put the toppings on right in front of you and you can also customize! Their newest flavor is a stuffed cookie, Strawberry Pop Tart Chip and looks soo good! I'd like to try their Biscoff and OG as well! Note: There is no seating and they charge $0.50 per topping. *Song Credit: Mai Tai by Jeff Kaale

Absolutely love them! Delicious treats, affordable, and don't hurt your face from sweetness. Just perfect taste and cozy spot! Don't forget to download the app for a free $5 reward! Went in to get the last of the monster crunch cookies (so sorry if you missed out) happy birthday to me!!

I was next door at Sweetgreen and decided to stop in to try one of their cookies. The employee at the counter was pretty friendly, she asked if it was my first time trying them and took the time to walk me through the ordering process, which I appreciated. I went with a single Biscoff chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream and Biscoff crumbles (very basic, I know ). While it was a bit pricey for just one cookie (around $8 before tip), she did mention it's a better deal if you order multiple cookies. I'm a sucker for a Biscoff cookie so I thought that it tasted really good, but I wish it had been a bit warmer to really capture that fresh-out-of-the-oven texture. The shop itself is pretty small, with only two small tables, making it better suited for a quick treat. Overall, it's a nice spot to satisfy a sweet craving, especially if you're already in the area.

I stopped by Chip because I tried the Crocker location and really enjoyed it, but they may have had a different cookie selection at that location. I honestly wasn't a fan of the cookies here. I felt like the cookie were not very soft and chewy, but more on the dry side. I ordered a boneless cookie which is a butter cookie and that was just okay. I also ordered the BTS and a customer made cookie with biscoff cookie, cream cheese frosting, caramel drizzle and Oreo cookie topping. The cream cheese frosting was way too sweet my Oreos were stale and the caramel drizzle was good. I don't like that the biscoff cookie has white chocolate chips in it as it took away from the flavor of the Biscoff itself. The BTS I'll just passed on that it did not like it at all. I love cookies, but this location fell short. I will definitely come back and try their Matcha drinks. The service was great the staff was uber friendly and let me take my time on what I wanted to get. The inside is small I don't remember if there was any places to sit inside as I got my cookies to go. Check this place out you may like it. I'll definitely give this location another try.

Love at first sight Chip Cookie surprised me in the best way. On paper, it's a simple idea: choose your cookie base, pile on your toppings, and walk away with dessert that's uniquely yours. In practice, it feels more like an activity than a transaction -- equal parts snack and mini event. The space is bright, clean, and welcoming, with the kind of cheerful energy you want from a dessert shop. The smell alone deserves five stars. Staff were friendly without being pushy, and they genuinely seemed excited to walk me through the options (a lifesaver for someone as indecisive as me). My pick? The horchata cookie topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of sweet condensed milk. Simple, balanced, and gone embarrassingly fast. What makes Chip Cookie stand out is the interactive twist -- you're not just buying dessert, you're personalizing it. It's clever, it's fun, and it's the kind of place that makes you want to come back with friends just to see what wild combos they'd dream up.

They have some indoor and outdoor seating and it's a great date night spot or quick stop to pick up a drink and a bite. On my latest visit I popped in with some friends and we ordered some of their desserts and a loaf of bread. I took home a chocolate mousse cake and it was both beautiful and delicious. I dont have photos of what I got for valentines day but remmeber them being ok but nothing mind-blowing Maybe its just the DOCO one that sucks but I went to give them another chance the day before mother's day and sorely regretted it. I got the matcha croissant ive been hearing about, the new blueberry cream croissant and the mango passionfruit entremet. The Croissants were a huge flop. Blueberry had barely enough filling inside-the cream itself was tasty but croissant was rough in texture and not flaky. Matcha was a bit more flaky and had more filling-I wouldn't say GENEROUS amount as some have said but maybe I just got a bad one. The cream was too subtle -it was more like vanilla with a hint of matcha. The entremet was the only one that didnt suck-it was delicious but again I wouldn't say anywhere in Sacramento has wowed me yet with their entremets compared to places in the bay except for the ones that ginger Elizabeth has had in the past-the flavor itself was on point, i will say the texture of the entremets have a majority layer of the jelly part-if they could perfect the variety of layers you're supposed to get in each bite I would be more impressed as thats the whole point of enjoying an entremet. Honestly I should have just gotten one pastry to try in one day as they are pricey-i paid 31 not including the tip fot my pastries, and in this economy one cannot waste that much on disappointing sweet treats lol

Over the years, Rick's remained a Sacramento staple, and when they opened up their new location in Midtown, the dessert community welcomed them back and embraced their sweet offerings, bigger space, and late night hours. I never went til just a couple weeks ago. Around 9pm on a Friday night I was craving banana cream pie and the husband wanted cherry pie. On Yelp search, Rick's came up as the top choice that was open. So we went and stood in the long line. The place was crowded and loud. Lively and busy vibe. Café de Olla is a classic Mexican coffee that offers a well-balanced blend of coffee, cinnamon, and brown sugar, often served with heavy cream to give you a comforting and energizing boost. Traditionally, it's even served at funerals as families celebrate the passing of a loved one into a better life. It's meant to be warm, rich, and meaningful. However, the café's version was far from that. The counter staff overpromised their Café de Olla, but it tasted terrible. When I asked to switch to a mocha because of how bad the coffee was, their friendly smile quickly disappeared. They didn't offer a replacement or try to make it right. Instead, I had to pay again for the mocha just to finish the coffee break with my wife. Very disappointing experience. It was an easy decision not to come back. If you're going to sell poor-quality coffee, at least stand behind it and fix the problem instead of charging customers twice. Promotes well in facebook- HELL NO not again.
