This place just blew me away! Hungry for an afternoon suger snack I perused my online map and found this cookie place. OK, who can pass up a cookie? Located in a newer shopping strip mall area since I was there already I just wandered over to check it out. Skip Safeway... I just wanted one cookie, a GOOD cookie. Arriving at Chip Cookies is like arriving at Neiman Marcus on steroids for cookies! The place is magnificent and cookies take the place of high end jewelry. Watch out Harry Winston! Entering this palace of cookie wonder not only shocked me but delighted me too. Well, why not go high end with cookies! The place is pristine, contemporary and beautifully detailed. It's a franchise and the woman behind the counter was delightful, I presume an owner. The story of Chip Cookies is between the restroom and payment counter, if you're curious. The Cookies, the base ones anway, are on display for you to choose and they are awesome, like gems in a beautiful glass case. Look awestruck, but don't touch. You select your cookie and then there are a multitude of optional add-ons to customize your cookie. I chose a chocolate chip type cookie, and they are a bit larger than the super sized large ones in supermarkets. From there I had a swirling of white chocolate and toasted coconut on top and voila, a custom 'Tom B' cookie! It's warmed and put into a white jewel box with gold trim for you to take or eat there. Tiffany's beware, it's not a blue box but this might become as iconic! There's limited seating space but I ate it there as I was on the run but wanted to savor this cookie treat, warmed! The cookie was indeed very, very good. I was in cookie heaven. It resolved my cookie craving and I was more than satisfied. Although, like Neiman Marcus or Tiffany's I walked out with a hole in my wallet. The base cookie was $5. and with the extras and a bit of a tip it came to nearly $7. That's one heck of an expensive cookie, but in the moment it was pure bliss. Tiffany's, btw, offers the same type of experience. You come out elated, uplifted with quality merchandise, and broke. I would go back to Chip Cookie when the extreme craving hits, and it's convenient, but I will not get the frequent flyer program just yet. They do have smaller cookies for a box too. Impress your family and friends! Try it. Go to an ATM first!
Holy cow! These were so tasty!! We stopped by after dinner one night. The place was empty and the young man behind the counter welcomed us. He asked if we had ever visited before which we had not, he explained how it worked. You pick a cookie flavor and then what toppings, if any, that you want to add or you can select one of their "pre-designed" cookies. We got the BTS, which was a caramel forward cookie, very delicious. The hot cocoa which was so warm and had gooey marshmallow! Their brookie which is their og cookie and cocoa cookie, and last we got the Oreo blast!! All were very good. They had enough options but not too many to overwhelm.
The perfect place to grab dessert if you have a sweet tooth! They have a variety of cookies that you can choose from. I got the biscoff cookie and it was very tasty. I loved the filling in the middle. The workers were very friendly and explained how everything worked as it was my first time here. Just an fyi, there are no seats inside so you do have to take it to-go.
The cookies are amazing soft , fluffy and delicious!!! I would have gave this place 5 stars but the young lady that helped us was really rude and inpatient. As me and my wife are trying to decide what cookies we wanted she was like " have you guys decided already " with a snotty attitude. My wife asked how much the their uncooked dough was and she said " it's right there on the menu " really rude . Idk if she was having a bad day or what ?? we were excited to visit it was our first time there and the lady treated us really rude and it wasn't even close to closing time. It was about 1115 they close at 12. It's like she wanted to get us out of there. Me and my wife definitely want to go back but we'll probably try a different location where we feel welcomed.
As a regular I keep coming back!!!! So glad to hear they are on their second location near Sacramento State College. Congratulations!!!! The Biscoff is still my favorite cookie yet!!!! Cookies amazing! Servers always superb!!! Ambiance smells like a fresh baked cookie factory!
We stumbled upon Chip while waiting for our hotel room and glad we did! The employee explained how it all worked as we'd never been there and we set off picking our cookies! We ended up with a box of 4 for a very reasonable price, somewhere around $20. The cookies are huge! Warm and delicious, and you get to choose any toppings you'd like! There's different sauces, Oreos, chocolate chips, toasted coconut, and much more!! The cookies are presented in a lovely box for you to take home or to eat in! We sat inside to eat our creations. The inside was clean and bright with a few tables. There are also a few different bottled drinks for purchase at the front counter. Don't hesitate to give Chip a try! If you like Crumbl you'll like Chip more!
I passed through the shopping area and saw the sign 'warm cookie' so I had to try it! I ordered OG and added custom toppings (nuttella & peanut butter drizzle and Reese's pieces). Total came up to $6.49 (the custom toppings were $1 extra). Once I opened the box, I could smell the delicious peanut butter drizzle. The cookie was good - it had crispy edges and solid in the core (not really soft type). It had good sweetness level and had a hint of saltiness. The peanut butter drizzle was the best! It gave salty taste to balance the sweetness of the cookie.
This is the perfect place for a warm cookie. We were here on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all. There were 2 people in line before us and while we were there 2 patrons came after us. I loved they had displays, so you could check out what you want. The far end there is a case showcasing all the cookies they have to offer. I got the ginger cookie. I'm not a big frosting fan so I got it plain. It was delicious. Warm right out of the oven. After returning home and reading other reviews I learned they have day old cookies next to the register for half off. I wish I knew that, I would have picked up a few cookies to take home. Parking was a breeze. They have a private lot and there was plenty of spaces to choose from. The place is immaculate. I loved been greeted with such cleanliness. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and were patient with me as this was my first time.
whoever made these cookies has the hands of an angel I'm so serious. the ambiance in the store is a little off putting at first and feels like a doctors office, but i genuinely would drag myself through broken glass and back to taste these again. picture of me eating the cookies
Thank you Chip Cookies!!! Found out about this place because of a YEE event I attended! It's close by, and it's also right next to my dog's vet! What could be better! I'm not a fan of crumbl cookies, but I do like this place!! It's clean, organized, they sell cookies, water, milk, soda, ice cream and merchandise! I got a 4 pack of cookies and it was around $20. All the cookies were great! They also sell cookie cakes here that you can get a message printed on the cookie! They also have mini cookies! Download the app and start getting points today!
Delicious, fresh and amazing! Chip Cookies is located in the Crocker Village shopping center across from City Sports gym and near Safeway. I was excited to check out this newish dessert place as I have seen some amazing pictures of their fully decked-out cookies. This shop is very cute with a clean aesthetic of white and gold with marble. The menu offers a create-your-own option, you can pick out a cookie and then choose sauces and toppings in whatever combination you would like. They also have their own menu of recommended cookies and toppings, such as the BTS. Given the quality of the cookies, either choice is going to be great. I decided on the SW Chip, a cookie stuffed with semi sweet chocolate wafers and sea salt on top and added cream cheese frosting (because come on, sweet cream cheese?!). The frosting was delicious, but very sweet, and the cookie was outstanding! Fresh, thick, slightly chewy, big chunks of chocolate AND I could taste the butter! So good. Also the friendly staff member was so nice. I need to return to try a few more combos and cookie flavors.
Customer service at Chip is always amazing. Everyone we've ever dealt with going into that place. It's just an absolute doll. The cookies are amazing. They last long they taste. Great you can twist them and make them your own. The environment is lively, bright, beautiful welcoming, and it puts everything displayed nicely so that you can see what your options are.

Came in after dinner to grab a couple of cookies to share. The lady there was super helpful and explained the menu to us and the different treats you can get. Reminds me of a crumble cookie type of place. The cookies were fresh and the frosting was put on fresh when we ordered. Wasn't a huge fan overall but it was decent. Few tables inside so not a place to hang out for long. read more
Keep in mind I've had these cooked twice within four days. I tried this shop randomly with a couple of friends. I can't remember exactly what we the others got, but I got the biscoff cookie with cream cheese, caramel, condensed milk and toffee bits and oh my. Holy delicious. Just how I like my cookies: sweet, chewy, warm and so softy The lady who took our order and customizations was very kind, however, my only concern was the fly buzzing around. Revisiting chip cookies . This place never gets old. they have different flavors every week. Upon entering we were greeted by the awesome cashier. It's a pretty simple concept.. you pick what flavor cookie you want and pick what you want on top of it. The place itself is very clean and simple. Try chip cookies if you are a cookie lover . The cashier asked if it was my first visit and it was so she went through the entire menu with me. She was very thorough and very attentive. This place would be like cold stones creamery for cookies. There were so many interesting choices but I chose the biscoff cookie since the cashier recommended it. I added peppermint chips. So soft and yummy. It was a little crispy on top but soft in the middle. The place was very clean and organized. Prices were decent. Not cheap but not too outrageous. I will come back again. My best friend and I came here on a Sunday night. It was very slow, we got a Togo order with 4 cookies. Initial ambiance reminded me of a brightly lit sterile hospital, but later we would come to find out that the light from heaven shines down upon this place. The cookies we got were Biscoff, Tres Leches, BTS, and Oreo Dunk. Let me tell you, best cookies I've ever tasted. Warm, delicious - I actually closed my eyes to savor the flavor they were that good. Chip Cookies is located at Crocker Village, on the same side as SOMI SOMI softserve & taiyaki. Follow the neon signage toward where warm cookies await and "Chip Happens." The interior is small, no seating, but you order at the far end, go counterclockwise, then pay at the register by the entrance. The menu and flavor descriptions in the cookie display were hard for me to read (maybe the font?), but they do also have their rotating flavors on their website too. The flavors they had were: Boneless (dough, no chips), Biscoff Chip, Mini OG, Cocoa, SW Chip (chocolate chip, wafer, sea salt), Pumpkin Nutella Chip, OG, and Sugar Chip (cream cheese frosting). They were out of the pumpkin ones at the time, and the mini OGs. One of my friends got a box of 4 cookies to go, and I tried a single Biscoff Chip (Biscoff cookies, white chocolate chips, cookie butter filling). You can dress up your cookie(s) with fixings such as whipped cream, syrup drizzles, pretzels, ice cream, etc. but I got the Biscoff as-is (big, warm, and delicious). The Fan Favorites custom chip cookies: - Better Than Sex Chip (BTS): a warm gourmet cookie made with a cocoa cookie, caramel, sweetened condensed milk and topped with whipped cream, toffee + caramel - Tres Leches Chip: a warm gourmet buttery cookie infused with sweetened condensed milk and topped with whipped cream + cinnamon sugar - Oreo Dunk Chip: a warm gourmet cocoa cookie infused with sweetened condensed milk and topped with white chocolate + crushed oreos - Choconut Chip: a warm gourmet OG cookie (chocolate chip) capped with milk chocolate and topped with toasted coconut + a chocolate drizzle I also noticed some day-old cookies available for sale near the cashier too. Their cookies are soooo amazing, the best cookies I've had in my life! Even the boneless cookie (which is just a "regular" cookie) is delicious!! On top of all that, the 2 owners who are twins are so nice and always receptive to feedback. Definitely the best place for dessert in Sacramento esp since they're open til late! read more

New cookie place located in the giant Crocker Village shopping center across from Safeway! The inside is very clean and modern with no tables. You walk up to the corner and order the type of cookies you want and then you have the option to add toppings to them. Their cookie flavors ranged from Cocoa, Boneless (no chocolate) and even Cookies and Cream. We decided on the SW Chip which was just your basic chocolate chip cookie with sea salt on top. We also opted out of toppings as it seemed a bit too pricy and over the top for my personal liking. There were a ton of different toppings such as coconut and caramel sauce - each topping was an additional $1. The cookies by themselves are just under $5 a piece so it can definitely get a bit expensive. They also offer mini cookies as well! The ladies working were super friendly and explained what cookie flavors they had and how the whole concept worked. I must admit that the SW Chip was very good. It was simple, yet just the right amount of sweet and salty. I'm glad I ordered 3! I will definitely be back for more the next time I am in the area! read more

the cookies are absolutely delicious, .the ambiance is beautiful, and the customer service is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. chip offers an impressive variety of specialty cookies, including loaded cookies with toppings and sauces, cookie cakes, and cookies served with ice cream. there are so many flavor combinations to choose from, along with a great selection of toppings and add-ons. they also offer beverages such as coffee, sodas, bottled water, and hot chocolate, so there's truly something for everyone to enjoy. it's clear that management takes pride in creating a positive experience, from the quality of the products to the warm and inviting atmosphere. i highly recommend giving chip a try--you will love it! read more

Found this place by accident as we were headed to another place in the area. Oh my goodness - I'm so glad we found this gem! Immediately greeted by the staff and they explained what type of cookies they have and how you can select your toppings. We ended up buying a 4 pack and my son got a strawberry shortcake cookie with vanilla bean ice cream with Nutella drizzle - it was heaven! Cookies are so good! Just had the Biscoff cookie with my coffee this morning (not the healthiest breakfast but ehhhh who cares) Don't miss this place - puts other cookie places to shame. Can't wait to go back! read more

I'm thrilled to have a gourmet cookie shop in Sacramento! Insomnia Cookies (never like them) can step aside for Chip Cookies! The location is great at Crocker Village with plenty of parking. The shop is simple and clean with a modern vibe. It reminds me of walking into a high-end boutique. It was our first time here, so naturally, we had to try everything! We got the Chip Flip Box with 4 cookies (your selection). They are all phenomenal, high-quality, and with layers of texture in each bite. If I had to pick my favorite, it would have to be the Biscoff chip. I love white chocolate and cookie butter. Biscoff Chip - gourmet chip cookie made with biscoff cookies, white chocolate chips, + stuffed with biscoff cookie butter. SW Chip - Stuffed with rich semi-sweet chocolate wafers + topped with maldon sea salt. Muddy Buddy Chip (Flavor of the Week) - peanut butter chip cookie with a milk chocolate center and topped with muddy buddies + dusted with powdered sugar. OG - Your original chocolate chip cookie but gourmet! My son got the Chipzookie, which is like a full-size dessert in a bowl. You select a cookie and any toppings you like sprinkled on top of a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They only have vanilla ice cream for now. I'm not sure if they will add more flavors. I'm already planning to be back soon. The Biscoff Chip is calling my name! read more

New cookie spot alert! I learned about Chip Cookie from social media and had the pleasure of checking it out with friends. We arrived late on a Friday night, and I was very impressed with the warm and personable service. The staff walked us through the concept and gave great recommendations. Customer service alone is worthy of five stars! My group ordered different variations of the chipzookie. Mine had a sw chip base, topped with vanilla ice cream, Nutella, chocolate chips, and toasted coconut. It was rich, indulgent, and so delicious! Super excited to see this spot open up! Walking in I immediately said it smells so good in here LOL. Workers were all friendly and helpful. We tried the OG, Biscoff Chip, and the SW in the chip zookie version, similar to a pizookie at BJs ! You get vanilla ice cream and a choice of topping from their topping bar. I had the biscoff chip which had biscoff cookies, white chocolate chips, and stuffed with biscoff cookie butter! My favorite of the night! You can get the cookie by itself and choose toppings like Nutella, caramel, sprinkles, oreos,toasted coconut etc. (toppings actually cost extra) Love that the cookies come out warm. My friends and I all agree that the cookies are so good on their own so we probably wouldn't get the chip zookie again. Can't wait to come back for more! read more
I'm a sucker for cookies so if there's a new business in town, you can find me there. Chip Cookie is located in the Crocker Village parking lot. Really great location around other eateries! This is strictly a grab and go dessert spot, since there aren't any tables to sit inside. It's nice and bright and the menu is easy to read! You can pick preset cookie combos, or build your own combo. They also have ice cream to make your own chipzookie. We went with a 4-pack and tried out the biscoff chip, sw chip (semi sweet with sea salt), and the tres leches chip and Oreo dunk chip combos. I was a bit skeptical at first since they look smaller in size, but don't let the circumference fool you - these cookies are thick!! But thick in a good way, because I would've expected them to be dry and they aren't at all. The cream on the Oreo one was light and fluffy, not too sweet like some well-known competitors. Service was great, so many employees that are eager to serve you! Can't wait to come back here and try more cookie flavors! read more

Oh chip that's good. I had the tres leches cookie topped with vanilla ice cream, cream cheese whipped cream, and condensed milk. I will be trying the white chocolate biscoff cookie next. Grab and go. Newly opened in the Crocker Plaza near the bridge heading to Sac City College, you'll find yourself to something that even other cookie competitors would be afraid of. They have a preselected cookie for the week if you can't decide, but what makes them stand out from the rest is their versatility. You can select from their 4 base cookies (chocolate, sugar, chocolate chip, forgot the other one lol) and you can customize the toppings you want! The choices are endless. The cookies themselves are dense and thick that some with a somewhat hard exterior but as soon as you bite into it, it's very soft, melty, and rich. I got their 4 of the week since I wasn't sure what to make for myself. The tres leches was my top favorite as it was with a sugar cookie base, white chocolate or condensed milk, whipped cream. It was the perfect balance and just the right amount of sweet. Don't forget that you can even order a CHIPZOOKIE!
