The newly advertised cookie cake is what I'm here to review. This is solely on this cookie cake because I like the regular chocolate chip cookie! Anyway at $35 this cake was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. You can go somewhere else and get a great birthday cake somewhere else, fancier even! This was for my son and he wanted a cookie cake for his birthday and in my head, if it's $35 it's probably just as good as their regular chocolate chip cookie. Nope. This was flat and thin. COLD! And to be honest, seemed a lil under cooked. Not warm and fresh at all like their regular cookies. Arrived for pickup to be told that they haven't unthawed the dough and orders come in late which will result in my order being done in 2 days. I requested a refund. Neither employee knew how to give me a refund and called their boss. This aggravated one employee. They then informed me that will go ahead and bake my cake with a completion time of 9:45 pm. I'm not sure what happened this evening for these two workers at Chip Cookies but I won't be coming back to this location anytime soon. The cake is not what I ordered. The employees here are not great! We walked in and no one was in. Weren't greeted, the two employees working went to the back before saying anything to us and we had to wait for them to come out and take our order. They were slow and not at all helpful or friendly. We love chips cookies, but this locations staff doesn't cut it. Highly reccomend this location look for more productive employees. I was excited to try Chip cookies again to support local cookie companies. I decided to go the day I went because they said they would have their cookies and cream dip special. When I went they didn't have that cookie out on display so I asked her about it and she said she could have it ready in 20 minutes so I would need to come back. That was kind of annoying because I had already picked up my lunch but I decided to come back. With everything going on I didn't realize until I got home that I had a different version of the cookie. And sadly it actually did not taste very good at all. I had a few bites and didn't want to eat anymore. The chocolate chip cookie was the best but not great. The biscoff cookie seemed overcooked and it was hard to taste the biscoff. And I did not like the sugar cookie frosting. I don't like to be negative on my reviews but I definitely feel like they can improve with their cookies, serving what they actually say they're supposed to serve the week of and customer service. I tried to find an email on their website but there wasn't one listed. I also tried to reach out to them on Instagram to not leave a negative review but they haven't responded to me even though Instagram shows they have seen my messages. Chip has really been stepping it up, of all the cookie shops, I've always thought they did the best job. I would find myself at other companies because they had more options and would push out new flavors every week. Chip has recently been doing a new flavor each week and I've loved it! They aren't the same "cookie" but Chip has released flavors similar to other companies and I can say they win 100% of the time. Their cookies and cream this week is to DIE FOR! So delicious. Other competitors have too thick of frosting and nothing seems that special to me but Chip has the perfect ratio of frosting if there is any. I do enjoy a good Chocolate Chip Cookie and the Chocolate Chip O.G., as in OMG, is their signature Cookie and if I said that it was spectacular I would be understating how amazing it was. If you time it right and catch them just as they are coming out of the oven you will be giddy with child like joy!!!!! I will be back although I can't go too often, I would put on fifty pounds if I was not careful because these Cookies are amazing. Chip makes a great gift for family, friends, coworkers and clients. This is the third time we've been to this location. The first time was great. We got a box of the OG chocolate chip. I liked them better than Crumbl, mostly because the cookies were actually baked all the way through! Many people don't realize the difference between a gooey, moist cookie and an underbaked cookie. The second trip they got my order wrong. I blamed myself for not checking the box before leaving the store. I was disappointed, but not enough to make a trip back. The chocolate PB chip cookie was delicious! I ended up buying a bag of the cookie dough. Didn't get to try the Biscoff chip this time, due to the mistaken order. Third time's a charm? Not today. We were so excited to try the Autism Awareness Cookie Monster Cookie because... SEMI-SWEET! And the Cadbury chip. These cookies were SOOOO underbaked! Inedible!!! All of them. I like that they've started adding a second cookie of the month to give a little variety; as it stands I don't have a reason to go more than once every couple of months unless there's a cookie I really like (Cookies & Cream, Biscoff, Fruity Pebbles, etc). I like that they sell their dough so I can stock up on those, and they cook well at home. I've been to this location twice and both times, I've seen employees mishandle food right in front of the customers. The first time, an employee was balling up cookies and dropped one on her lap, and put it on the tray still to bake it instead of throwing it away.
