Crookie

The cookies are not as good as levain, who they are emulating. I've also had several terrible experiences at this location - wrong order, rude staff, store was closed when I ordered online. Their flavors are underwhelming most of the time

Always fun to receive your cookies in a cute box! :)

Cookie craving on a Sunday; Crumble was closed so when typing in Chocolate chip cookies in uber eats Chip City was next in line. I have never heard of this spot. But took a chance on delivery. It was buy one get one free so we got 2 CC cookies and 2 cookies and cream. Delivered in a cute box. Cookies are thick and gooey. Didn't need much warming up but we nuked them in the microwave for 15 seconds. Hubby and thought they were delicious! And cured the craving! :) Would definitely give them a shot!

Fast service and really neat cookie choices; so far I tried to PBJ cookie and it is good!

This location is right outside of Barnes & Noble in Clarendon which is fun - books and cookies are a great combo! I got the Banoffee cookie, which was the flavor of the week and my fave, followed by the Smores. I wasn't as much a fan of the dark chocolate peanut butter one. Overall the cookies were good but a bit too on the "done" or crispy side for my preference - it's like they went in the opposite direction of Crumbl which I often think is too underdone or doughy. Apparently I'm the Goldilocks of cookies, who knew! I did see they sell sundaes with their cookies though so I might try that next time to soften the cookie a bit.

These cookies are so good they may be better than Crumbl (they definitely taste more fresh) I definitely recommend this cookie place but you should eat them while they're fresh because they serve them hot.

I had to try their new Banoffee cookie and it didn't disappoint! They could give Crumbl a run for their money. They have a great promo on Uber Eats (buy one cookie, get another free). The cookies showed up in a cute box, looked wonderful and were still a bit warm. Definitely will be ordering from Chip City again!

Visited Clarendon yesterday and did not notice Chip City in the small mall. Great cookies and ice cream which is awesome in this hot weather. Safe park in garage as they enforce the area around the shops.

The concept of this cookie store is probably my favorite type of store (similar to Crumbl). On a weekly basis, the store rotates through various types of cookies. This gives the customer a reason to keep updated with their cookie selection. Especially cookie lovers. This was the first time I tried Chip city, and I was not disappointed. The staff was full of energy and gave me some recommendations as I chose my selection. I tried the Cookie Butter with Bischoff, Triple Chocolate and Cookie and Cream. All great flavor. I actually only wanted 2 but they told me the third one was half off. Definitely a good sweet treat for the end of the week.

Freshly baked cookies that smell intoxicating from the street and taste as good as you'd expect! Incredibly large portioned for two sized cookies are warm and gooey on the inside and perfectly crunchy on the outside. The smores is a household favorite but I'm basic and always opt for the classic chocolate chip- executed to perfection. Your grandmas cookies but better and surrounded by ample outdoor seating and other fun shops to walk off the sugar rush!

I had to deduct a star because they do not have military discount. But aside from that they did offer me a taste of a new cookie which was espresso churro and boy it was delicious! I got 6 cookies and it came out to 29 which was from the tax of course but a 6 pack cost 27 and some change. The cookies are all thick boys which have soft centers. There was a Caucasian women in the back that came out to greet me all extra loud.. maybe she just had to much coffee but the rest of the staff was pleasent .

A new cookie shop in the Clarendon Crossings area! I visited on a Sunday late afternoon and they had about 6-7 flavors. I really liked their cookies and cream cookie (nested cookies?) and mocha cookie. The service was quick and the store was clean. I would agree that heating up the cookie before consuming is the way to go! At least currently, the store is doing some deals (buy 2 get 3rd one half off), which is what I did and the total price was about $13.

Love this place for its unique variety of cookies! They also have great offering for dairy free desserts. I LOVED the cookies and cream cookie (it's filled with chocolate Oreo and some marshmallows). My second favorite is the confetti. The chocolate chip is good too but honestly if you're going to chip city test out some of their out of the box (no pun intended) flavors!! It's very worth it and not super expensive like other fancy bakeries.

PISTACHIO & CHOCOLATE SCOOPS I was skeptical at first esp with this combo but babyyyyy this was EVERYTHING! Both flavors together and separate were delicious and sweet but not overpowering. Perfect match and will definitely get again... maybe even I'll get all flavors lol. Btw I love seeing the NITRO coming out the kitchen aids, such a cool scene. I love the colors in the store, orange spoons and white kitchen aids are so different but I love it plus the aesthetics thru-out the store was cute. The pricing is decent and they have a limited menu of Icecream flavors, milkshakes and even hot cocoa. We will definitely be back especially since they gave us a Punch card so after 10 scoops/visits, you get FREE Icecream.

The staff is super friendly and the place is quaint but has a handful of tables inside and outside. They justify the high price tag by whipping the ice cream with liquid nitrogen in a mixer. Although cool I didn't think it added much to the experience and was little gimmicky. I tried the cookie dough which was solid and not too sweet. My friend tried one of their seasonal flavors (lavender honey) and it tasted like neither. I think they use the same base for most of their flavors because hers tasted very similar to mine and both were good quality. I think the flavors are hit or miss, but unfortunately you can't sample them! I think this place is a good treat, but overall I'm not sure I'd go back.

Three Whistles Coffee Shop…read more This coffee shop just reminded me why I fell in love with coffee in the first place. I had my first cup of "Joe" as a teenager while enjoying a nice family breakfast in downtown DC. I recall my Pops saying, "Leave room for coffee in that cup of sugar!" Back then, I thought, wow... that was funny. I later learned that it was hacky, a commonly used joke for heavy sugar users. Nevertheless, the taste felt electrifying. I don't recall the brand. It was definitely either Maxwell House or Folgers, but... whatever it was, it was delicious. Over the years, I began to dabble with different brands, different brews and different coffee formulas until I discovered Starbucks. It was the mid-90s when I had my first... wait for it... wait for it... "Caramel Macchiato" or Hot Heaven in a Cup, as I best can describe it. Seemingly every day for 25-plus years, I would gladly offer Starbucks a small percentage of my salary to enjoy another cup of Hot Heaven. But something happened along the way. In the early years, Starbucks was premium. They gave tremendous regard to how each cup was crafted. However, as is often the case in life, as time went on, the care and craftsmanship began to wane. It wasn't an overnight decline. It was more insidious than that. I knew something was off, but again, like many things, I continued to blindly pour into it, hoping for a rebirth, chasing that cup that tasted like the first time... Well today that happened. Not at Starbucks. I stumbled across that rebirth at Three Whistles Coffee Shop, a lovely, community-style coffee shop located on Wilson Boulevard in Arlington. I requested my order exactly as I like it, a variation to the original recipe, one that I cultivated through 25 years of trial and error. The gentleman listened closely while maintaining a courteous conversation. I watched him prepare my order when I realized, he wasn't just going through the motions, as I've grown use to experiencing at that other shop. Something felt different, yet vaguely familiar, that seemingly dated attention to craftsmanship... a precise pour into a tilted cup to create that wonderful creamy blend. And then, just when I thought his attention to detail had reached its end, he topped-off my foam with a decorative design, all while maintaining his place in our conversation. Then came the moment of truth. I took my first sip, and instantly... I'm reminded of that pearly-gates-in-a-cup feeling. The rebirth. What a caramel macchiato tastes like without stockholders' influence. Without corporate meetings. Without commercials. Without a glitchy App. Without shelves of $25 merch. Just a cup of heaven made in a community-centric shop by a barista who prefers to go by his own name, not logos on an apron. Recommendation level: Go immediately if you want a great cup of Joe. But I should warn you... After Three Whistles coffee, Starbucks may never taste quite like coffee again.

I am kicking myself for not trying three whistles sooner. I live and work close by, but I always…read moreforget about it. The food and drinks are amazing and the vibe is superb!
