The senior center is a very nice place. It's clean and fresh all the time. Great place for seniors…read moreto party and enjoy company. They have a nice hall for events. The only thing is that I do not recommend it for weddings, and Sweet 15/16. The hall has super strict rules. So strict you can't even enjoy planning or enjoy the day of the event. You will be full of anxiety and in fear that one error will ruin your event. First the hall is really hard to get maybe because it's really is affordable. You have to be in a raffle three months early only according to the day you want to hold the event. When you submit your application make sure you put the exact amount of guest you want. Even though it says estimate they actually want exact. Make sure you know the exact number of tables and the way they are arranged. And most importantly don't have any alcohol at the center because they do stop the party with police force.

I am writing in regards a negative experience which I should have never been a part of. This place…read moreis a true God send for the neighborhood seniors who enjoy a moment away from the norm of their limited lifestyle. However, this review is about miscommunication and what some will do to disregard their so-called professional position. I believe a facility which caters to the senior citizen's of Ontario should provide a sense of clarity when revealing what is required of it's constituents for the purpose of running a system for the greater good. It is with a solemn heart that I write without creating confusion to the already senior citizen who is only trying to partake and acclimate to a comforting environment. This is directed exclusively to management, who obviously have a difficult time managing a facility with such exclusive clientele. I believe it is a valuable concern for a facility who serves an important group of people who are already dealing with society's oversight of their existence. Everyone on this planet will in fact partake in the process of growing old, if their lifestyle is not impeded by their own ineptness through shallow decisions. The staff of this facility should all be one on the same page when providing a service to the elderly. If there is to be expectations by the facility geared towards the elderly, by all means they should be posted for all concerned, otherwise you are creating a problem as oppose to avoiding one. Life's ambiguities do not suffice one in the stage of quiescence. In closing, staff management is holding an important position of affluence which influence those beneath your current status; have the foresight to speak with a sense of provisional knowledge for those who may look up to your leadership. We celebrated our wedding and reception here on June 15th. What a great location!…read more We ended up renting out the entirety of the large banquet hall and gazebo. We also had a dance floor added which did cost extra. The Gazebo area was beautiful and the grass was so green. We had seats for 160 people outside of the gazebo and it worked out great. The best part is, the staff set up and tore down the seats for the guests. The banquet hall was very spacious and very nice! They include the table and chairs but it is up to you to provide any decor (decor you provide includes table cloths and chair covers). You cannot put anything on the walls so really decor is limited. The staff was great throughout the process. Thanks especially to Lindsey who received so many emails from me along the way.... :) Here are some positives and negatives to consider: Positives: The location is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff made sure to set up the room the way I had requested. The kitchen was quite large and accessible (aside from the oven) to my vendor who brought in food. The restrooms were very clean and this is always a huge thing for me :) Everyone had a great time at this venue. Negatives: Unlike most venues we looked at, this venue did NOT include any time for setup. Setup time came out of our rental time so we paid an extra hour on each end for set-up and tear down. Being a bride, I had a little more stress than I needed that day wondering if everything would be set up for the reception in time. It was, and it was a great night. Things to know: If you do have alcohol at this property, you are required to hire security to be there for the duration that Alcohol is being served. If you have over 100 guests, you are required to have two people. Just good to know when thinking about costs. :) Again, nothing can be stuck to the walls in the rooms so keep that in mind for decorating. Overall, My husband and I were thrilled with the venue and would definitely recommend it for those that looking for a great spot to have their special day!

While checking through the shelves, Frank, who worked in that area, asked me if he could help. After explaining how the section was organized, when the newest ones came in, etc., he took information on the book I was searching for and promised to hold it for me if it came in. After several return visits later, he advised me that it hadn't shown up yet. A few weeks later I found it at home and let them know. I was very appreciative that Frank had been kind enough to keep an eye out for me.
