Took my 8 year old daughter here since she was given a gift certificate for her birthday. The…read morecertificate was for 1 hour of instruction ($40 value). One hour of instruction is $40, half hour is $30. You must make an appointment. I called on a Friday to make an appointment for the following week. Brad told me to call back Saturday afternoon which is when he makes his schedule. Upon arrival we were greeted by Joe, he's the instructor who would be working with my daughter for the next hour. First half was hitting. Joe pitched and provided tips and corrective advice to my daughter on her swing. His suggestions echoed the advice I have been giving my daughter for months, hopefully, coming from someone else she will listen. Second half of the hour Joe setup a T with a ball on top at one end of the cage. My daughter was at the other end of the cage while Joe rolled ground balls to my daughter she fielded balls and threw at the ball on the T trying to knock it off. He did the same with fly balls. He also provided some tips and advice on improving her throws. Overall, instruction was very basic. Maybe because it's my daughter's first time. I did ask Joe if we return, will the hour consist of the same drills. He said usually after the third or fourth practice they move on to more advanced skills. A couple things I did not like. One, my daughter is in 8u softball and they use a 10" RIF ball, Cairas had 12" balls which my daughter isn't used to. They should consider getting a couple dozen 10" balls if the demand warrants it. Second, after the basket of balls were hit or thrown my daughter went around and gathered all the balls while Joe played on his phone. Not a huge deal, but when your kid is shagging 30-40 balls 3x-4x per hour that eats up 15 minutes of time you are paying for. Lastly, there seemed to be a lot of chatting between staff members while practicing. My thoughts - if your time is supposed to be spent with my kid, give her your full attention. Solid four star rating.

There is NO net to keep the balls from landing in the parking lot. As of May 2024 there are also no visible signs warning you. I have addressed this concern in the past (over a year ago) and recently heard cars being hit as I parked a few weeks ago. They've done nothing about it. ZERO.

When we arrived, there was an adult league event happening in the same space--and the environment was completely out of control. Grown adults visibly drunk... falling on the floor, asking people to take shots, passed out in public areas, vomiting in the bathrooms. And I literally saw the bartender pouring Hennessy shots and continuing to serve them--they were never cut off. Why the f*** is this happening at a Perfect Game tournament?! And then it got worse... We walked into the women's bathroom and there was a grown man in a stall with a woman--her panties down to her ankles. This is a youth event. Kids are walking in and out of these spaces. What if little girls had walked into that bathroom?! There was no separation. No control. No supervision. On top of that, families traveled, kids barely slept, and the next morning the games were canceled because no one was even attending to the fields. I'm low key embarrassed for the teams that came from out of state to experience this. This isn't just unprofessional--it's unsafe and completely unacceptable.

My friend and I decided to stop by at this batting cage for a quick source of stress relief and…read morefun. The facility itself was pretty small and it was completely empty but wasn't able to use the automatic feeding cage since it had reservations, which was fine. Since the manual feeding cage was our only option, we decided on that option for 30 mins. The manual feeding option was $30 for 30 minutes which I thought was a little expensive but this place had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. So, the guy helped us to set up the projectile machine and showed us how to feed the softballs manually. For the first 3 minutes, everything seemed fine until almost 70% of the softballs were projected straight to the floor. As a result, the softballs ran out pretty quickly and had to spend time picking them up again pretty often. Since it was projecting to the floor too much, we asked the guy if he can readjust the projection angle. He ended up increasing the speed and adjusting the angle a bit more upward. As I was feeding the softballs manually for my friend, I noticed that the projectile feeder machine motor could not stand the speed changes and started to rattle and move side to side causing inconsistent throws which lowkey turned into a dodgeball session and also caused my friend getting hit. Overall, poor maintenance of equipments and poor handling of the situation from the staff. If you decide to come here, I do not recommend the manual feeding option.
