I had high expectations for Little Dokebi but honestly was slightly disappointed…read more I shared veggie fried mandu, Korean fried chicken in dokebi spicy flavor, and kalbi tacos. The chicken was underwhelming, and I was expecting saucy wings but it was a dry rub. Which is okay, but the flavor was still a little lackluster. The tacos and mandu were good, but fell short of my expectations and weren't anything special. I would like to come back and try new items, because they have a lot of things on their menu and maybe I should try something else.

After having visited them several times now I can say their food and drinks are very good. On my most recent stop there I had the Sweet & Spicy Chi-Bap with the Yuzu Lemonade drink. The meal was hot and very tasty. My drink was also flavorful and had a refreshing taste. Chris, who served me, was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. I look forward to trying more items on their menu. One of the only downsides is that their seating area is very limited so be prepared to take your order to-go in case there's no room!

They have sweet & Spicy; garlic and spicy garlic; crispy etc. In addition to wings there are poppers, tenders and drums . Once I saw that they had spicy garlic I opted for that. Reminded me of Bon Chon. I got the 8 pcs wings (50/50) which is half garlic and half spicy garlic for $14.99 I was also intrigued by the kimchi bacon fried rice for $18.99 so I ordered that too. For a togo order the presentation was great. The wings have a branded tape band going across. The rice had a nice egg on top and in a big resuable container. No issues with the portion size. You'll definitely have leftovers. Overall I loved the wings. The spice was just right. Definitely a filling meal even if just 4 wings. The kimichi fried rice was plentiful but I feel like it had way more kimchi than bacon. I'd rather a balance of both or more bacon. I'd visit again. Lots of positive reviews and the wings were delish. Want to try other items from them.

I also loved the cheddar chive biscuit, it included delicious bits of cheese inside of the dough. My brother got the bowl which he also really enjoyed. The service was fantastic. The kitchen ended up being slammed and took a while to get our order, but the barista was so kind and communicative. Definitely worth the wait!

This place feels like it needs to pick a lane with the food the offering is too all over the place. Upon walking up to the restaurant there is a BIG sushi flag, a little further up the block on the corner there is a sign that says sushi and szechuan.... completely different countries..... completely different cuisines with nothing in common. It seems like they are trying to be too many things. Sushi was ok. The rock shrimp tempura for $16 was a soggy overpriced mess. It was soggy and very disappointing. The staff was very nice but are trying to booster their experience and reviews with free appetizer and ice cream. I imagine all the 5 star review have been paid for. While I ALWAYS appreciate good hospitality I would prefer to skip the free stuff and just have better food. We did order the "special Japanese fluke" that the waitress high impressed on us. We were told it was very special and hard to get. I don't know the cost of it but it was muddle with truffle oil on it. No good piece of fresh clean fish imo should be ruined with truffle oil or a jalapeno slice. I felt bamboozled on that dish. I would suggest they take down some of the signage which makes it look cheap and confusing. Concentrate on ventalation of the space as lot of deep frying was going on that gave odor. Do one type of food and do it right. Nice people but I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

My favorites were the Fanta watermelon and Fanta melon soda. After we explored what the grocery store had to offer, we went to check out the speakeasy. The atmosphere was very chill and service was great and friendly. At first, we were going to order individually, but after looking at the menu, we ended up ordering quite a bit so we could all try the food. Although we all had our favorites, everything we tried was amazing. The creativity that went into each dish and drink let's you know this isn't an average fusion spot! The Oiji cucumber salad had so much flavor. The way they prepped the crunchy garlic along with the furikake, it almost had a slight bacon flavor with a hint of spice. The Crispy Ginkgo Stuffed Olives tasted great but dipping them in the kimchi marinara took it to another level. Both dishes great for appetizers We then go to try the Miso Cod Tacos. The miso Cod was cooked perfectly. The pickled Fresno went well with the fish taco and with the hint of wasabi, there was so much flavor. The Braised Pork Belly Bao was my 2nd favorite dish. The pork belly was so tender and just so much flavor in each bite! My favorite dish was the "Soo Jae Bi" Spicy Boscaiola...wow. The go chu jang ragu sauce was out of this world. The perfect blend of spicy, sweet, and creamy. I highly, highly recommend trying this dish! During our meal, I tried the Bushwick Seoul mezcal drink as well as the Sesame Conspiracy. Definitely worth getting if you're into mezcal or bourbon. There's really nothing I can say negatively about this place. I can't wait to visit again so I can head over to BK to eat at Sura again. I love that the fusion of Korean into these dishes didn't overpower and take over the original flavors but complimented them so well and again, in such a creative way.

They even sell pantry staples on the shelves in the front area of the restaurant. I was with a group of four to stop in for some small bites. I'd say everything had solid flavor, but in particular the yang nyum wings and soft korean omelet were my favorite bites. The sweet corned cheese, disco potatoes, and cucumber salad oiji were also tasty enough for us to finish off. I found the portions somewhat precious for our group, who wanted to chow down with heftier bites, but I think that's just the nature of dining out these days. We weren't in the mood to drink but this sort of food would pair very well with booze. Our servers were sweet and eager to hear feedback about what we liked most. I'd be excited to see if they add some specials to the menu.

The chicken is fried fresh so you do need to wait a bit but who doesn't want their chicken made to order? I'm not a corn dog person at all but I did try the half/half with the potato coating. It was still hot from the fry and the cheese pull on the mozzarella half was very impressive. The beef hot dog half was also good as well. It's finished with powder sugar (as it's mean to be) and it all works pretty well together. Grabbed one for the wife and she was very happy with it. I ordered the crispy spicy wings and these were very enjoyable. There are not many Korean chicken shops that do this style. I prefer mine sauceless and the battery has a nice kick to it. The skin is crunchy and the chicken is juicy and VERY HOT. Brought some wings back home and air-fried them the next day, still very delicious. Definitely would check out again if I'm in the area.

Right when you first get the bowl, you get a strong preview whiff of what you're about to have. The curry is slightly sweet, bright in its spicy, and has a real savory body. It is so creamy and warms the whole mouth when you drink it. The egg noodles are perfectly al dente so it can cling onto the curry, so there is never a bland moment eating this. With the chicken satay, it is beautifully grilled with just a lightly crisp skin. Everything pairs together beautifully with the pickled mustard greens and the onions and fried shallots. The takeout container portions may look small at first glance, but once you get in there, you'll realize it's actually the perfect filling portion. I'm excited to return again and again. The menu concept is choosing a base curry (averaging around 12.95), noodle or rice, and a protein (ranging from 4 to 10+ dollars for the add on). They also have an array of appetizers, including roti and crispy pork, and several fun drink options (Thai tea matcha cloud, coconut matcha cloud, and freshly made smoothies). I got one of their coconut mango smoothies, which was a nice dessert-y option after the curry. SEATING can comfortably fit 11 people on bar seats.
