She fixed all my little hang nails and cleaned everything up, didn't file my nail bed, and my first manicure stayed on for a month, easy. I removed it because I was getting tired of the color but it didn't peel or lift at all. The appointments are long but it's because Tina takes VERY good care of your nails. Yes, the price is also higher but for the time and expertise you're getting... decades of experience and superb attention to detail.

I got super simple stiletto nails and my toes painted and I have never gotten a worse service. The entire time I was there they charged people around $40 to $50 for nails. I asked how much mine would be and he said $60 due to longer length which I completely understand and I ended up being charged $150 for mani and pedi. I even tipped $30 because I just want good work and somewhere I can keep going back to. I got my nails done oct 1 by oct 3 My thumb nail cracked!!! at the base of my nail and I couldnt believe how frail they were. In good faith I went back and got it fixed and he made it sort of thicker but couldn't even match the length they were completely different. I went home and tried my best to file it to match. That same day another nail chipped and I just wanted my nails to look right I hate having broken nails. I called on Oct 7 wednesday to see what I can do about getting my nails fixed and the guy who did my nails who is really the only one fluent in english (obviously not a problem but he is the manager) and he did my nails. He didnt answer and no call back. I call him today and he says Im out of the window of fixing it or a refund. TLDR this place is trash waste of money cant even do basic structural work and Im always gentle on my nails Ive never had this happen

Billy answered the phone and although I requested him, it was same day so he was busy. That's understandable and he suggested Kevin. I specifically asked if Kevin is good w/ Gel-X and he replied "Yes." I was about 8 mins late for my 4:30 appt, so I couldn't exactly be upset that Kevin wasn't ready for me. He finally got to me around 4:50pm. Billy placed the Gel-X supplies on an empty station, and that's when I suddenly became apprehensive. I've been getting my nails done for YEARS, so that was the first red flag for me. Why doesn't Kevin already have his own supplies at a permanent station? Subsequently, I abruptly changed my service to a gel manicure, because that's a basic level service and I was hopeful that it would work out. I was wrong. The polishing was bad. He was hurting my cuticles by being too aggressive and trying to cut off too much cuticles. A few times I said "ouch" and moved my hand. The shaping was bad, and my nice ssa still tipped him. SMH. Why? Because he still did a service, even if it was below my standards, I am just used to it. AND the three staff were so nice and accommodating. But, nice isn't enough. It hasn't even been 24 hours and the polish has started peeling on two nails. This is my second time at this place. The first visit for a pedicure wasn't the best as far as my experience during the service (the guy was rough and pushy), but ultimately my toes looked good, so I wanted to give them another try. Plus, they're so close to me home, but it didn't work out for me. Hopefully others will have a better experience.

Now, I realize how this comes off, but please know that I've worked blue-collar jobs, too. I may be an overeducated (kibishii) customer, but I also know how to treat clients. Even when you don't think you can handle even one more millisecond on the job. Add to that my nail-etiquette manual, edited by none other than Professor Ocean Vuong's dear mother, recounting her decades-long career in nail salons. I would like to think that I have heaps of compassion around the gig. The pay. The (sometimes) evil clients. The back-breaking awfulness of it all... It's simply this: the bins being dragged around from customer to customer are filthy. Along with all of the tools inside. And when someone dares question the cleanliness, the tech hisses at you. Mumbling under her breath constantly; so much so that the other nail-techs stop what they're doing, look over and sneer. I mean, c'mon.
