Service was very good. Have been searching for a good sit down Chinese restaurant for a while. My search continues. Roti were cold and greasy. Shrimp pad Thai lacked flavor. Shrimp were few and small. Will give it one more try.

Eggplant in OIL SAUCE with a side of garlic flavor so disappointed

I was so thrilled to find a chinese restaurant open during these times of lockdown that I didnt mind getting on the highway and driving some towns away for takeout. Unfortunately, my household and I were deeply disappointed with the $60 dollar worth of food we ordered. Not only was it overpriced but it was gross. The beef and broccoli and eggplant with garlic sauce were full of oil and bland, my pork duplings smelled and tasted weird which I suspected to be rancid so I had toss it out, and my egg roll was overfried not golden but brown. Such a let down that I had to come out of "restaurant review retirement" to warn the masses. Stay away folks!

Spicy tuna roll, avocado & eel roll

We wanted a quick bite to eat before heading to a wedding at a nearby church. Every other place was closed down the street at 11am on a Saturday. Thus place didn't look open at first, but I only discoved it was opened after checking their hours on Yelp. We just got a eel & avocado sushi & spicy tuna roll. We were the only ones in the restraunt and the guy who looked like the manager was struggling with the POS system and the credit card machine. Food was prepared quickly, and we ate it in the car. It was very dark inside the restraunt. The sushi was okay. It was still warm from the rice, but the sushi wasn't that flavorful. It came with Wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce. It was okay for the price of $12 for the sushi. I probably wouldn't come here again, but it's a good place to visit when no other place is opened. I think they're hot food is probably better, and the sushi is definitely something they just do on the side. But it was quick and less messy than hot food.

This place has become my go-to Chinese spot even though it's about a 15 to 20 minutes drive from my house. I stumble upon it one day leaving my son's Barbershop and have been hooked ever since. This is not you're basic Chinese food. And what I mean by that is that the meat that you order is the actual meat that you get. Not that rubbery questionable meat you get at other spots. I love that they have a very pleasant dining area if you wish to dine in even though the waiter can be a little pushy. I love their lo mein, their fried rice, beef and broccoli, mei fun, egg rolls, mango shrimp. Everything so far has been really yummy!

I order lunch for our office from here once in a while and generally have fresh sushi. We usually order the peppered tuna wraps, avocado salad, pineapple rice, the philly roll, tuna roll, and the california. All are made fresh and tastes delicious. They say about 45 minutes however they're generally here within 30 minutes or less. Will continue to order from here.

The only good place in the area for decent sushi and Chinese food. I've ordered and dined at Chinatown multiple times in the years I've lived in Harrison and no other restaurant has done better. Food is average to good - depending on what you order. They actually do well on authentic Chinese dishes and sushi rolls. In terms of dining experience, the restaurant is clean, interior is nice, and there is a sushi bar for those who want to see the sushi chef make the rolls for delivery and dine in. The sushi chef is very nice and accommodating and the service is great! Delivery time is average, order has always been correct, food is warm and there is no spillage every time I've ordered which I consider a big plus. They're also open on most holidays!

I don't know why this place doesn't have more stars! Their sushi is amazing! An extensive sushi roll menu plus Chinese and Japanese entree dishes and apps........ plus BYOB!!! Guys, maybe we should keep it a secret? The atmosphere is definitely old school 90s Asian restaurant and not on purpose for an over the top nostalgia effect. It's just never been updated inside. Right down to a huge fish tank in the back! But the most important is that everything is clean and the staff is so sweet. Definitely add this to your list of places to try! I'll be a returning fan.

Literally, it's the best Chinese restaurant in tri-city area, Harrison Kearny and Newark. Their Chinese foods are undoubtedly authentic, sushi rolls are freshly made and even can be modified for special requests. I'm kinda picky about restaurants and have a long page of"ban list". But this place never let me down in past several years. Highly recommend!

Best Dan Dan noodles I've had in a while - maybe ever. I was quite surprised by the delicate balance between mildly spicy and peanut buttery in the noodles. I wasn't expecting this deliciousness from a neighborhood Chinese restaurant! Service was very fast and courteous. Booths were spacious and clean. Diners were enjoying themselves. Good ambience. I got takeout but plan to come back for dinner.

I love their Chinese food, hands down best I ever tasted. My favorite, chicken and broccoli fried rice combo.

Best Chinese food and sushi restaurant around. They also have great prices for parties. They treat my niece and nephew like family.

I believe kewpie mayo ontop. Salmon is cooked & shredded. Acai bowl was good, but only allows a choice of 3 toppings from a short varity list. Lemonade was just a powder mix. The ambiance was nice though! It was a cafe style in the front and had an outdoors garden space that was home-y and felt like being in your back yard. Some seating was covered so we were still able to go outside despite the light rain. There is also a few pretty birds you walk past on your way out back. There was quite a few steps though, and i did not see an alternate entry to the garden, so that specifically is not handicap friendly if it applies to you.

The restaurant is super tiny but had great music playing the whole night. They also have a little convenience section with packaged snacks and drinks which was super cute. My friends and I ordered the 10 piece Huancaina Roll, Leche de Tigre Maki Roll, and the 10 piece Maki Parillero Roll. To be honest the Huancaina Roll didn't have much flavor and it was pretty bland compared to the other two rolls so it wasn't my favorite. But if you love Peruvian Ceviche you're going to LOVE the Leche de Tigre Maki roll. The fish was so fresh and flavorful. The reallllll show stopper was the 10 Piece Maki Parillero roll. It was AMAZING! The sliced beef tataki just melts in your mouth and the chimichurri was just an absolute chefs kiss. I kid you not I could've eaten two orders of just that roll and called it a day. Although the service was a bit slow with ordering and getting the food, I still want to go back and try more of the menu because the menu is hugeeee!

The first roll I got was so chewy and there was so much mushy rice mixed with way too much mayo it was pretty unpleasant. I threw out that roll after trying to eat 2 pieces. The California roll I got was okay, it just tasted petty bland. Like it had been sitting in a fridge premade for hours but I think they made it there so not sure how that happens. I also ordered online but they claimed they didn't have my order when I got there and had to convice them via email receipt that I ordered and waited like 25 mins longer than I needed to while they made it. Otherwise I mean the staff was okay I guess... they didn't do anything overtly offputting. Price is, well, low... so i guess that's why it's an "it is what it is".

This poor girl was seating guests, taking orders, missing tables, bringing food out, and ringing everyone up. She was very sweet and clearly doing her best, but it's far too much for one person. We were there for two hours, during which we saw many frustrated customers. Several Uber and DoorDash drivers waited long periods to pick up orders, which seemed to come out just as slowly as those for dine-in guests. Like every other customer I observed, once we finished our food we walked to the back to ask for our check so we could leave, since we had already been there so long. This place has only been open about five weeks (Clifton location), so my hope is that they improve as they go specifically by adding more staff. There's great potential here.
