The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable for today's economy. The people are friendly and the place is kept clean.

The food is terrible. Not to mention, this place is very unsanitary and the staff has been rude on more than one occasion.

This place doesn't look like much when you walk by, there's a strangely suspicious sign on the…read morefront door that claims its the best General Tso's and Sesame chicken in town. I mean it couldn't possibly be true right? It's definitely a marketing ploy? Absolutely not. King house is an establishment that has one thing on its mind and one thing only. From the owner Tommy to the food they serve, its clear that keeping things affordable, delicious, and clean is the way they operate. The steamed dumplings are alright and the cheese wontons are nothing special but King House truly shines when you order the sesame chicken combo platter. For just 9 dollars you get a heaping pile of pork fried rice, sesame chicken, 2-3 florets of broccoli and an eggroll. Honestly I'm at a loss for words as to how this place keeps itself open. Unless God himself is their main supplier for rice I have no clue how Tommy makes any money. The fried rice doesn't taste old or reconstituted, there's decent pieces of pork inside and its well seasoned. The broccoli is a nice touch and I love how its not totally overpowering the dish and its just enough for a vegetal crunch to break up the meal. The star of the show is the sesame chicken. This chicken is fried well and the sauce is sweet, savory, and clings well to the chicken fry. The leftover sauce goes great with the fried rice! It is truly the gold standard for any Chinese food place for starving students all around. The only thing I will note is to make sure to ask for utensils.

The coconut shrimp stands out with a sweet, creamy sauce that perfectly balances flavor and texture. It wasn't soggy and the shrimps were pretty big! The broccoli beef was tender and savory, with fresh broccoli and a rich sauce. Their chow mein is packed with flavor. Delicious stir-fried noodles cooked fresh, with plenty of vegetables and your choice of protein. And the dumplings.. oof. So good! The order is kinda small with 7 only, but they were still great. There is no dine in area. It's a NY-style establishment where it's order and go. Altogether, Best Wok delivers exactly what you want from a neighborhood Chinese kitchen. Great portions and tasty food.

The tai restaurant was closed for the holiday so I was glad they were open. It's a normal Chinese restaurant. It was neat and clean. It was a little nosey. I waited a while for the food. The wait was worth it. The young man who waited on me did a good job taking the order.

Yelp has this listed as " China City" but I am pretty sure the sign in front of the restaurant says…read more" Mei's China City". Now, with that being set allow me to also note that I have only eaten take out from this place. They offer a buffet during lunch and dinner, but I prefer to eat my chinese food in front of the TV on my couch, so take out it is. My preferred meal of choice here is the small sized chicken and broccoli with white rice. Believe me when I say the small sized is more than enough for one meal, even if you're starving. They also have very tasty general tsos chicken which comes with a cabbage egg roll. I always swap out the fried rice for white rice, but that is merely a personal preference. All the take out options are reasonably priced and always fresh. Every time I have placed a take out order it has been ready exactly when they stated it would be. Don't be alarmed if they ask for your phone number when ordering as they use your number, not your name, to keep take out orders straight. The counter to pick up your order is located directly in front of you as you open the door so you don't have to waltz across the whole restaurant to pick up your food. If you're a lover of soy sauce like me then I would suggest asking for a few more packs as they usually only give one or two packs, but for some reason always include hot mustard regardless of what I order.
