Good food, often quick-ish - but just don't plan to eat inside here. This is take out only. I'm a regular customer, several years. You'll want to call in your order at least 15 mins ahead and they'll give you a number. Don't forget that #. Cashier is usually slower & is usually NOT very customer service oriented. It feels very much like they're doing you a favour by selling you their food. There are a couple of nice employees but a couple of them aren't exactly nice (& can be impolite). The extras like duck sauce are serve-yourself at the counter where you pay for your food. But they're the best Chinese take out in the area, so I deal with it by following their rules & not expecting anything except decent food produced fairly timely & packaged really well for take out. I especially like their egg drop soup, General Tso & Moo Goo Gai Pan. Decent egg rolls. Don't care for their spring rolls, though. If you can't manage a lot of salt, don't eat here. Be sure to ask for no MSG if you don't like that, as it comes standard (& sometimes you'll get MSG anyway). Small, quiet, limited seating. Only counter service after 5. Their combos are VERY generous. I had their egg foo yung-added chicken as they do not have shrimp. Both of the patties were large and thick, and very tasty. I don't usually use gravy, but theres is very good. I need to remember to ask for no onions-they are good at honoring special requests. I'm not a fan of all cabbage egg rolls (I prefer a mix or only bean sprouts), so I opted for hot and soup soup as a substitute, which was awesome, and I was very grateful them allowing that! read more

I order i thought from them but i called great wall by accident. And i called to tell them i was not picking up the food and i called as soon as i realised. And the guy pretty much started giving me attitude and said " you need to cancel your order there and come here to pick this up" note its been like 5 min since i called and he started saying " you should have known better" and was horrible i apologised 3 times and he still continued to get after me. Please don't eat here, it is so unsanitary!! This place is the worst. The people are so rude when we place our order over the phone and even more so when we pick it up. We've been here a couple dozen times, as it is the only Chinese restaurant in the area.. figured we could deal with the rudeness. Then I realized that the all white meat general tso's chicken that I was ordering wasn't actually chicken! Every piece had the look and texture of some kind of white mushy substance.. who knows what it was. My husband believes that it was probably all fat. There goes my appetite. But who really knows... Could be cat for all we know. But it definitely wasn't chicken, and definitely not white meat chicken, as I ordered. But if that's not bad enough!! A couple weeks later I went to pick up an order of broccoli and fried rice, and there were trays of raw food.. What appeared to have been chicken, laying on top of garbage cans!!!!! Needless to say, we don't order ANYTHING from here anymore, I posted pictures, take a look. Please, for your own health, don't eat here!! This place is disgusting. The south end of town go-to spot for a cheap Chinese lunch. $5.35 + tax. I haven't ever had a bad meal here, but the entrance to the place might make you hesitate for a minute as to whether or not you should head inside. It's not very welcoming or shiny clean. It depends on what my tastebuds are telling me, but I usually end up with either the Cashew Chicken, the Pepper Steak with extra mushrooms added, the Shrimp and Broccoli or the Beef and Broccoli lunch combo. The Wonton Soup is always good and I choose it over the Egg Roll. I WAS a big fan of their General Tsao's Chicken, but healthier, more veggie meals, have led me to other menu options when I eat Chinese now. Martha is the always present weekday waitress when my co-workers and I head here. She is efficient and helpful and never hesitates to take our special requests. Extra pineapple for the Sweet and Sour Chicken order, Almond Chicken with no onions in the fried rice, and Cashew Chicken SKIP THE BABY CORN please!!! (My tastebuds think it tastes like dirt!) This horrible excuse for a business really deserved a negative number. If you are a new diner to this experience as I was, let me share 'the rules' for this establishment before they over charge, under cook your food, and you have the delightful experience of trying to talk with a person through a literal hole in the wall. Be sure to stand out in the cold, and read ALL the hand written signs they have plastered on the front window, this is key to understanding 'the rules.' I made the big mistake of an impulse decision for this food. Research the menu online and decide what you want before hand and call, cause the hole in the wall doesn't like questions. Once you have order from the hole in the wall, which is in a really short hallway that only one person can be at a time. Be sure to remember the number that the hole in the wall gives you, cause then you have to make a choice. Go out and stand in the cold with the rest of the impatient people in the unofficial line outside the business 'If you didn't read the signs on the window it is too late now.' Or go back to your car and wait, but then you won't see the little sticky note with your number that they post in the window when your order is ready. So it's multiple trips out of your car, in the cold to check. Make sure you check with every other person in the unofficial line first that their number was not put up before yours. Once you have seen your sticky note and checked with every other person standing in the cold you can then proceed to get your food from the hole in the wall. Repeat this process, if they messed up your order, or just do what I did, toss out the food, write a review and NEVER go back there again. I hope this helps someone. read more

The portions even for the lunch are huge and could be used for two meals. The service is always fast, and you can even call in for take out and in about 10 minutes, it usually ready. There is definitely good food to be had at the Wok. I've been told it's better than Great Wall, and personally beg to differ. If you're into really hot food, just asking for it isn't enough to get it here. They will serve you Port Huron's version of hot food, however. If you're impressed by Taco Bell's hot sauce, then they can satisfy your want for hot and spicy. I'll still go from time to time. Been here a few times every single time I call to order a female answers with a terrible attitude and rushes you through your order and off the phone. When I arrive every single time this lady is rude and barely even greets you or makes eye contact. Never smiles never makes you feel welcome or cared about. It's very weird.
