Honestly not sure what I expected. I've lived in the area for 5 years and this was the first time I've ever gotten food from there. The building is lackluster at best and definitely needs work on it. The drive through seemed to be the only thing open to pick up food through. You have to use the website to order your food and it charges you a dollar for a convenience fee. Now on to the food. It was surprisingly good. The food was fresh and on time. Plenty of choices to select through and the staff was friendly. Portion size was large as well. This is not a stop for the way the restaurant looks. It definitely lacks in ambiance. BUT, for fast Chinese food, it's solid. Perfect for a light dinner or when you don't feel well and just need soup and an egg roll to soothe what ills. Don't expect to sit and eat, and note that it's closed on Monday's. read more

This place use to be my go to place regularly! Yeah.....Use to be... I never had an issue with the food. My family has always enjoyed it and it has been right every time. The inside of this place has gotten worse and needs some serious help! There is wire holding up clear shower curtains, I guess no plexiglass could be found...Not sure. A thick layer of dust covers what was once a buffet area. Previous seating area is stacked with boxes of kitchen and cleaning supplies. This has always been our go to place for chinese food. The food is always tasty and hot, and the portions are always great too. Normally I get the general tso's chicken, but decided to switch it up and try the beef with garlic sauce which might be a new go-to. The prices can seem a bit high, but the portions are enough to where I can get 2-3 meals out of a large entree. read more

They are beyond rude I have had issues with their food three times it's the only close Chinese restauran! mold on my chicken one time this time they gave me the wrong order then caught an attitude when they were asked to correct my order and refused too! 5th time getting take out will be our last. 3 of the 5 times our order was messed up or we didn't get what we'd ordered. My first experience with this place they completely left off a meal for my daughter. When I called in they asked me to look at the ticket to make sure I actually ordered and paid for it. I had to go back up with receipt to prove I'd paid before they'd start making another one. I was ready to swear off the place then, but convenience led us back a 2nd time. The food was decent enough to warrant a third trip, and learning from my (or their) mistake the 1st time, I checked before leaving to notice they'd forgotten an appetizer. Annoying, but whatever. At least I checked before leaving, but I shouldn't have had to. 4th time was alright, but tonight (5th and last trip) my Singapore Mai Fun was completely flavorless. The noodles were white instead of yellow, telling me they'd completely left off any of the spices. My daughters Lo Mein was rubbery and did not taste fresh at all. If I could, I would give China Wok in Chapin zero stars. This place has really gone downhill in the past year. What used to be a decent buffet is now a storage shelf for boxes. There is a poster hanging up with black magic marker writing telling you where to order. No wait service. No plates or glasses. Everything is served in to go containers. They used to offer Chinese and Japanese food. They have marked out the word Japanese with a sharpie on their signage. Lastly the food has no real flavor. Typical low scale Chinese food. It is a shame that such a potentially nice space in being wasted. read more

I've ALWAYS been very satisfied with the food from China Wok 3, in Chapin. General Tso chicken, Crab Rangoon, Pork LoMein and the house / shrimp fried rice are as good as you would get at a high end Chinese eatery. Service is quick and very friendly. Thumbs up IMO. read more

I'm impressed with the quality and generous portions. Their Hot & Sour soup is as good as it gets. It's filled with lots of good things ~ chicken, mushrooms, tofu, veggies. Delicious! We also like their Shrimp in Lobster Sauce ~ the Lo Mein ~ and the Mushroom Chicken to name a few dishes. I'd like it if they had more dishes that don't use a soy-heavy brown sauce. And if they could reduce the sodium in more dishes, it would really be great. I've only ordered take out. It's always ready within 10-20 minutes of my calling in the order.
