Love the food. All the usuals, plus the pepper chicken is the best I've had. Takeout portions are plenty big, and the to-go dishes that I select myself from the buffet were reasonably priced. read more

cold food, 17$ you'd think it would be better than McDonald's at least yet the food taste like they just warmed it up in the microwave. comming out was awful but the best part of that entire experience. read more

Came in at 6pm hoping for semi fresh food, it was not. Tasted old & was super greasy. Everything tasted like they cook everything in the same oil. To top it all off, I found a hair in my green beans. I will never be back. Very disappointing read more

I liked because they had Mai fun noodles my favorite. Also I think they have a good selection of different kinds of Chinese chicken.

The food is delicious and they got a variety of food you can choose. If you want a variety of food to choose. Come here

Food was okay not good not bad. The one star is for the hair in the food!! Prolly wouldn't recommend to any of my friends tbh it's a bad look. read more

China Town Buffet - Chinese Near Me - Bismarck, North Dakota

The selection of seafood made the buffet a good deal the biggest shrimp I've seen since Florida plus your drink was included. No hibachi when I was there plus no won ton and crawfish plus one part of the buffet was shut down. 4 stars for the place was clean and the food that was out was fresh n good read more

Extremely cold, almost like they had the heat turned off. All the workers in coats and masks, guess they don't want you staying too long. Not worth $15, sorry read more

Was clean, friendly staff, and good food selection. I'd go there again. Honestly, it was better than I was expecting.

I went here for Christmas Eve dinner with my family. It used to be TGI Fridays, and they kept a lot of the same decor. As a party of six, we were seated at a round table by the door. It was a little small for us, so I wouldn't recommend this place for larger groups. The buffet has a lot of options, but nothing really seems to be good quality. My brother talked me into doing the stir fry grill because he wanted to try it. I agreed because I secretly wanted to go to HuHot instead. The options for stir fry are extremely limited. They have some veggies like mushrooms and onions. Also, they have raw steak and raw chicken at the end. This made me a little concerned because I wondered how they kept it at an appropriate temperature. I also wondered what letter rating they would have in the window if this place was located in California. I opted for some veggies with noodles (mostly because I was afraid of the raw meat) and my brother got the steak with noodles and some onions. After you fill up a bowl with ingredients, you walk over to the grill and hand it to the employee there. You have to hand it over the hot surface, which seems like a safety hazard. I'm a little clumsy, so this made me nervous. When the employee was almost finished cooking the stir fry, she asked us what kind of sauce we wanted. There were only a few options (hibachi, teriyaki, and garlic). I opted for hibachi and teriyaki and my brother got hibachi and garlic. The flavor of the stir fry was ok the first time. However, we both went up for a second time (and got the same things), but our food tasted very different. My brother's tasted overwhelmingly like steak because the employee had just cooked some on the grill (for the buffet) without cleaning it thoroughly. Don't count on consistency. Everyone else at the table opted for other items from the buffet and no one really left satisfied. When I'm back in Bismarck, I would definitely go somewhere else over this place. read more

Had Some Friends from out of town came to visit for a few days. We were deciding on what places to eat that had GOOD Chinese Food.. I haven't been to China Town Buffet since I moved to Bismarck, ND but I've heard good reviews from co-workers & friends about the food and service, so I thought we would give it a TRY.. Food was REALLY GOOD it was served HOT I really enjoyed the wonton soup, crab rangoon, mushrooms, & hibachi grill which were some of my favorites since I kept coming back for seconds (haha). Service was GREAT!!!! OVERALL EVERYONE WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR EXPERIENCE @ CHINA TOWN BUFFET read more

Typical China Buffet. Food was ok but I will go elsewhere next time. If you like fried food your opinion may differ from mine.

Our Daughter has food poisoning after eating here on Saturday. She had some shrimp that neither my wife or I had. I had the mongolian stir fry and the raw chicken didn't seem like it was being kept at the correct temperature. I will say this was one of the larger selections I have seen at a China buffet in North Dakota. read more

We did not expect to eat at a good Chinese buffet in SD. This place was pretty good out of all the things I ate I probably did not like 2 items. Pretty cheap and good food, definitely a place I would be back if I lived here. read more

I am in town for work and decided to give it a try. Never again! The food was horrible. The rice was dry, hard and crunchy. The spring rolls were soggy. The lo mein was dry and lacked flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was hard and extremely dry. The only thing that was ok was the ice tea. I didn't even finish eating I left and went through the drive Thur of Burger King. I will not go back while I am in town. read more

Call me silly for believing that I would get the same quality of service as I would get from my usual buffet style Chinese restaurants. Two of my pet peeves:One' having to wait and wait for my glass to be refilled and 2nd- above all...allowing a toddler to run around between tables and where food is hot like it's a playground. If it were a patron and their child somehow escaped and ran about giggling, understandable...haha, how funny. But this child was part of the establishment *based on no shoes and ran around more than 5 times (by me anyway)-unacceptable. Oh and I have a third! If I am in the process of getting food, please do NOT scrub (with steel wool) an area I am in and then make me wait for you to finish without an apology or anything. While I applaud cleanliness, dont do that around my plate. The quality of the food? Very well presented, decent selection for a buffet, the other patrons all looked reasonably pleased with their selections, but annoyances and lack of refreshment caused me not to enjoy mine, nor will I ever return as I still sit here and wait for a refill! read more

China Town Buffet - So you only get partial refills - Chinese Near Me - Bismarck, North Dakota

Food was fresh and plentiful, many choices. The service was really good, price was reasonable. Would recommend this place.

I think I have lived in probably nine different states, I have to disagree with most people on here as this is probably the worst Chinese buffet I have ever eaten at. I was excited to have another Chinese buffet come to Bismarck, however, the first time I ate at Chinatown buffet, it was dirty and all of the food had been sitting there at least an afternoon which was worrisome to me since about 75% of the meat products are seafood products. Other than that they have the basic Chinese Staples and Jell-O and an ice cream machine which was my child's favorite part of The meal. The truth is we have eaten here, maybe one more time and we were not impressed the second time either I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Service: 10/10 Food:8/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Cleanliness:9/10 Location:9/10 Price: $ Chinatown is the best buffet in the bis/man area and one of the better restaurants here. With excellent customer service and eager and pleasant waiters I would recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Chinese food. The entire restaurant is very clean and you can tell they take pride in that. The food is good, however the stir-fry is a little bland and lack luster. It's location is ok, however it's all the way at the end of Washington Street so it makes it a little difficult for people who live up north to get here. The atmosphere feels natural and traditional and the artwork is lovely. Sushi looks delicious but leave a lot to be desired compared to a place like kobes. Overall food quality is good. Fresh seafood and never frozen beef and chicken are a staple. read more

This is my go to place when I want Chinese with a nice atmosphere. The food is always hot and fresh and ready to go I appreciate that as my time sometimes is limited. read more

This place is really good, we live an hour out of town and when we come to town we always eat here. Wide variety of food, I love the general tso's chicken. It's nice tender and juicy. The service is good also, we never have dishes stacked or drinks run empty. I'm pregnant but I wish I could eat some of the sushi they make. We've eaten here twice already and we will for sure always be coming back for more!!! If you love a good Chinese buffet, for an amazing price, this is the place to go! For me and my bf during lunch hours we pay under $20. read more

We LOVED this new sweet little gem added to the Bismarck cuisine! While there are other Chinese buffets in town, this one is the most extensive for food selection by far. The hibachi grill is great and the sushi was good as well. There is a good selection of traditional buffet dishes you would expect to find at any Chinese buffet, but there are dishes here that stand out as more authentic. The pot stickers were excellent and the dim sum... yes please!!! Try out this new establishment! You won't be disappointed. :) read more

It tasted funny... Not the best Chinese in town. Also the front girl was very rude and not welcoming. Their fish tank looked dirty and that put us off... My hubby said the men's rest room was beyond regular men gross as far as rest rooms go. Disappointed. read more

I went there with a colleague for lunch. The selection in the buffet is very good. There were quite a few options that I had never seen before.
