Kung Fu Noodle is one of my favorite noodle joints in Henderson, and along with Shang Artisan Noodle on Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard, it's one of my go-to Chinese restaurants whenever I'm craving the cuisine. As you might have guessed from the name, they specialize in noodles -- the hand-pulled kind -- and when you come in to the restaurant, you can often see them preparing the noodles by stretching the dough multiple times when you look in the kitchen. It's quite fun watching them prepare the noodles that eventually end up in your food, like those satisfying food videos you watch online... the restaurant itself has a very zen feel to it despite being in a strip mall, so it's a great place to relax, too. Noodle soups and noodle dishes are the name of the game here, but they also serve wok-fried dishes, various street foods, and different kinds of fried rice if you're craving it. Their noodles are among the best I've had, only matched by the noodles I've eaten at Shang -- soft, yet still having a chew to them as they do an amazing job of soaking up the flavor from the soup or sauce that they're cooked in. The fact that I come here repeatedly is a testament to how delicious their food is -- and how cheap, too! A bowl of noodles with appetizers will only run you $20 at most, and considering the quality, it's well worth it! My go-to is the beef brisket noodle, and I order a side of wonton soup from the appetizers to add to the soup. Other standouts include their seafood delight, kung pao chicken, their beef chow mein, and their shrimp tempura and potstickers! It'd be much easier to list the food I've ordered here that I didn't like, which is... nothing, lol. The best part is, the service here is pretty quick, so you're not having to wait long for your food or drinks. Needless to say, I consider this place one of Henderson's best-kept secrets, which is why I'm willing to spill this particular secret since you really can't go wrong with delicious noodles, whatever form they come in. Try this place out -- and thank me later when you add it to your local rotation.

You don't get the soup with take-out. I got home and immediately opened both plates, which smelled really good on the drive home in the car. First impressions, the fried rice had a little speck of egg, and that's it, and probably just seasoned with some soy sauce. That's it. No meat, carrots, peas, green onions, nothing. The taste was a good as it looked. The shrimp in Garlic Sauce tasted ok, but was not what I was expecting. General Tao Chicken was good, nice portion of chicken and the sweet and sour sauce was tasty. I was given 3 spring rolls and 2 curry puffs, but not sure if I was shorted one spring roll, or given an extra one. Taste was good, crisp but oily. The curry puff is just cream cheese with curry powder, good flavor but the wrapper was a little hard. In a nutshell, it was ok. Maybe I ordered the wrong things today, but still better than Panda Express

First of all let me start by saying, I dont frequent this establishment (now I know why). Christmas evening I ordered food to go for my family. Understandably, I am aware they are busy and don't mind the wait. I ordered, lemon chicken, honey walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken, orange chicken, regular fried rice, and a small war won ton soup. My total was around $82.00. As we began our meal, we noticed the sauce on all of our dishes were all the same. Even the honey walnut shrimp sauce was drenched in some sort of orange sauce when essentially it is made with a mayo/honey sauce. I was very disappointed as well as my family with the food. As your neighbor in Anthem Highlands, if you want good chinese food; consider driving a little further to Eastern and avoid ordering from this place out of convenience. THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST places for Chinese 'anything'. The rude scrawny women in front (with very short hair) is a rude b--ch too boot. They have no idea what true NY style Chinese food is by the way. PASS THIS place up there are alternatives in the area. I ordered combination fried rice and even to just get brussels sprouts was two dollars so I was kind of taken back because peas and carrots were offered, and I didn't want them, but when I asked for onions instead of peas and carrots, there was no charge and I was grateful. I called in one egg roll, the dumplings, wings, shrimp lo mein and mixed meat (beef, chicken, shrimp) fried rice. The parking lot it's in is a mixed bag but it's across the street from a movie theatre. They have drive thru, it looks like it was a taco shop or something before. My food wasn't quite done when I got there. Paid and waited a few mins. It's clean inside. Lady at the counter was nice and I will give them props for not asking for a tip anywhere on the screen. Hoping that means workers are paid fairly. Anyway! Everything was packed nicely, she said my sauces and napkins were in the bag, and they were. I ate the egg roll first. $2 is low risk to try it. It was crisp and flavourful. I'd do 3/$5. The dumplings were pretty tasty. What I thought might be potsticker sauce was more soy sauce so I made my own sauce. Woman said the wings weren't bad either. I didn't try them. They do give good portion sizes for the price but my issue was that the meat lacks flavour. For there to be such big chunks, they need to have their own flavours! That was the consensus across the board. Would I go back? I'm not sure. I doctored it up a bit, it's not bad by any means. You decide.

It could have used more shrimp and sauce. The rice was about 5x fuller than the shrimp. My coworkers who had the sesame chicken and Mongolian beef, their portions were slightly larger. The only negative I would say is we ordered for work and spent about $100. My coworker who paid said they charge more for ordering online. Which was confusing. I do love this place still and has always been my go to. I will be back again.

When I asked for the manager/owner I was told they were not there. Poor service considering I ate there multiple times a week at one point spending $40-50 per order.
