I'm honestly really frustrated with this place. I always order the same exact thing from China Sun -- sesame chicken, pork fried rice, and I always ask for broccoli on the side. It's the same order every time. Every time I call, I ask the phone person 2-3 times t o make sure broccoli is included because this has already happened before. And every time they say "yes, it's included." Then I go home and the broccoli is missing. When I ask about it, the owner tells me broccoli is extra and I have to pay more. But the phone person keeps saying it's included, so I keep getting two different answers. This has happened many times, not just to me but also to my family. We kept ordering because we thought it was just mistakes, but it keeps happening again and again. If broccoli is extra, just say it clearly on the phone. Don't tell people yes and then change it later. It's just confusing and annoying at this point. Honestly, after all this, I would tell other customers to be careful and stay away if you don't want the same issue. The customer service and communication here are really bad. So many negative comments/reviews here but this spot is always so busy when I'm picking up my food. When we don't feel like cooking or just want some quick Chinese food, this is the spot! Food generally takes 15-20 mins and it's piping hot. They fill up the container to the top. The price is super reasonable. Taste never disappoints. I never understood the negative reviews. My husband and I love this place. I have recently ventured to getting the crispy beef but I usually get the orange chicken. And my husband gets egg foo -young (which isn't the prettiest but he says the gravy is 10/10). On occasion we get fried rice and the lo mein and the food is always so fresh. I don't get the negativity but this place is great. Service is on point as we order over the phone or mostly through the food apps and it's always ready within 15-20 minutes. I cannot understand how there are any bad reviews here. I used to order from them years ago and now twice recently and it is always good. Now they offer Thai dishes. Last night we ordered Pad Thai and Yellow Curry, both chicken, and General Tso's. All super delicious!! Only place I've had General Tsos and it's actually crunchy. New to the area, I was really happy to run into China Star at 9:30 pm with a sticker "Best Chinese Food 2014" on the door. What can I say, I"m easily impressed. So my hubby who was already set on General Tso's chicken and pork fried rice, both which were very fresh. The rice I was really impressed with bc it didn't feel greasy or old. The sauce was everything you come to love from General Tso. I got a little adventurous and ordered a Special of the day that was Pepper chicken and I was so in love! It was fried rice and chicken for only $5.95. It was chicken with peppers and onions just latered in pepper. And that may sound a bit odd, but I'm one of those people that loves pepper and well seasoning in general (hence my mild obsession with crab fries), so I really enjoyed it. We also got pork egg rolls which were great, not too much cabbage and just enough questionable pink pork. This Chinese spot is horrible! First of all they answer the phone with just saying a quick,"Hi/Hey" so you don't even know if your calling the restaurant. They always answer with an attitude and don't try to special order anything, they will tell you they can't do it or overcharge you for the order. This is the third time I ordered and it will be the last. I tried. I just can't. This time I order the bourbon chicken and it was sugary and watery. No quality sauce, sugar, and no flavor. This place totally fits the bill. Not only is the food good, but the staff is always pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. We've only ever had a problem with our order once (our bags got mixed up), but they apologized profusely and we got our correct order quickly. It happens. Is it the best Chinese food I've ever had? Ordered lunch from here for my fiancé and I so that we could spend lunch hour together and the food didn't come for over an hour. Welp there goes our planned lunch date. On top of that when it finally did arrive it was terrible quality. My hot and spicy chicken was more like cold and barely mild than it was hot and spicy. How could my food be cold you ask? Well that's probably what happens when you take an hour and a half to deliver. Instead of spending lunch with my fiancé, she missed out on lunch (due to the extremely slow delivery) and I now have a hangry fiancé who was late getting back to work thinking that these people might be on time. An hour later when I came back from lunch we still had not received the order, I then called back and had a very rude woman telling me that they put the orders together and then proceeded to call me a liar that that I should check the menu and the food when we get it. I have mixed reviews about this place. The food can be very good. They have some of the best fried rice and general tso chicken I've had from a takeout restaurant. My biggest issue is the consistency and the delivery. They seem to always make a mistake with the orders, they always forget something. The other issue is the delivery. So we went here for Mother's Day dinner. I didn't realize that it was mainly a take- out/delivery joint, but we ate in anyway. The ambience was lackluster. So I ordered wonton soup and mei fun with shrimp. I did not care for the won ton soup, the noodles were not very soft. I was unable to cut the noodles with the side of my spoon- did not like that. The mei fun was okay, I had never had it with shrimp before. My dad got shrimp and lobster sauce and really enjoyed having the sauce on the pork fried rice as opposed to white rice. It was a "combo dish" and the servings were small though it also came with an egg roll. Mom got General Tsos Tofu, she's a vegetarian and said it was the best she ever had. It was just the right amount of spiciness and the tofu was the perfect consistency. Went to pick up some lunch and noticed a worker in the rear of the store using his bare hands to turn and separate a Hugh pile of what appeared to be Lo-Mein noodles. After a minute or so passed I watch Flies buzzing around the Lo-Mein pile and then birds who flew thru the rear open door landed on the table and start eating the Lo-Mein noodles. This happened several times and when the staff actually witnessed the birds standing in the noodles they laughed and closed the rear screen door. I could not believe that the staff did not discard the pile of noodles immediately and I pray they did not use the Lo-Mein after contamination by the flies and the birds to fill in coming food orders. Orders getting mixed up. Being talked back at by the young girl taking orders. I was just there today. Placed my usual order for chicken and broccoli, fried rice and an egg roll. After I placed the order, several other patrons came in after me. I noticed they were getting their orders before me. After the 5th person got theirs, I went up and asked if they had my order.
