I have been eating here for nearly a year. The lunch specials are always priced well. At times the fried rice has been a bit too greasy but now that I watch my sodium very strictly and ask them to prepare my food with no soy sauce or salt it is perfect. 3rd time return customer. My husband LOVES chinese. Two weeks ago, we noticed China One and decided to give it a try. It was lunch time. Prices were very reasonable. Portions were huge. I ordered the Sesame Chicken-which was good btw, and my husband ordered a Teriyaki Bowl. He loved it! Now we have a new place to enjoy chinese food! Today, we ordered delivery for the second time. Food is ok. If they get the order right. Twice in a row now I have called in to rude order takers that have gotten my order wrong. Then when you pick up your order they tie the bags up so you can't check to see if the order is correct until you get home. They'll forget rice, in rice combos. I've had to return after getting home which is annoying and they'll fight you tooth and nail saying they added the rice. Becareful when ordering online! Waited an hour and a half after receiving email confirmation then placed a phone call to get a ETA on our food. The response was we do not have your order would you like to order again? Seriously......that now puts my order to show after 9 pm. Over 2 hours from when my online order was placed. Have been ordering from here since moving to Temecula over a year ago. Every dish is always wonderful and comforting in that it reminds me of the Chinese restaurants back on the east coast. Staff has always been delightful and tonight especially. A foot injury has me walking in a bizarre looking contraption and when the delivery guy brought my huge box of food for my family and saw my walking device brought everything in for me so I wouldn't have to struggle. The lunch specials are a pretty good deal. I ordered the General's Chicken with fried/steamed rice. Food came out quickly and tasted great. You get a lot more for your money than places like Panda Express and the food is cooked to order, so it seemed a whole lot fresher than the quick, buffet style Chinese places. I have had China One a couple of times and have been satisfied every time with the quality of food. Initially, when looking over a menu for the first time, I thought they were a little pricy, but upon ordering and receiving my food, the portion size was so large that the prices made sense. This review is based on their wonton soup. It is one of the best soups I've ever had and is consistently great every time I order it. The portion is huge and feeds at least two people (I usually eat half and finish the rest the next day). The wontons are chicken and have a great flavor. The food is good. The people who answer the phone don't speak good English and that is a problem. You have to repeat yourself several times, and when you pick up your order some items are missing but you have paid for them. If you have a restaurant in a foreign country you should hire someone of that country to take the orders. Does that make sense? We do go there often because the food is good. read more

For a little over $40 (including the tip for the delivery man) I got orange chicken, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, six vegetable egg rolls, two crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup and fried chip thingies. Delivered!!! I don't get take-out often because I cook most delicious meals but I was in the mood and the meat I planned for dinner didn't thaw. The pork fried rice was most delicious. I really enjoyed it. All the ingredients were cooked perfectly. Soft but not to soft, firm but not to firm. Not to thick not to thin I mean word to baby bear just right. The sesame chicken looked and tasted different from the orange chicken. Some places you get orange chicken with sesame seeds and there you go. Not here!! The sauces were equally delicious and with different flavor. Yummy yummy delicious and yummy. The soup was so super good. Quite spicy and very taste. Even had a few shrimp in it which I've never had in a hot and sour soup. The crab Rangoon was perfect. Creamy, super stuffed, light, crispy, crunchy but not to crunchy. Uh so yeah perfect. I didn't like the egg rolls but I ain't even mad. The food came is these awesome reusable containers. High five to who ever had that genius idea! Please believe me we needed them because there was soooo much food! I could have easily fed four of us with one chicken and the rice. Did I mention that rice is soooo good. It is. Also they accepted my debit card at the door so that's cool too. The receipt allows for a tip but I used cash. The delivery man seemed shy but super polite and very professional. The gentleman who answered my call, on the second ring, and took my order was also very professional and trustworthy. I had full confidence that my order was going to be correct and that made me feel great. Best Chinese food in Temecula by far. We always come in and get the broccoli beef and the combination Taiwan style noodles. Portions are very generous and all is cooked to order. Food is very fresh. I would agree with other posters that their service is somewhat disorganized and you have to speak clearly when ordering, because all workers are Chinese and speak English as a second language. Their intentions are good. If you're ordering take-out and need forks and napkins, check the bag, because sometimes they pack them and sometimes they don't. I was very disappointed with the service today 12/28/19 @4:10 pm. I went to pick up an order of Hongkong style Chow Mein and Sesame Chicken but when I got there, they made a House style Chow mein. My son ordered over the phone and he said the person that took the order keep on saying "House Chow Mein". My son corrected several times that he wanted the Hongkong style. I asked politely if they can change it but she said no because it's already made. Instead of apologizing for their mistake, the girl in the cashier gave me an attitude. She rolled her eyes on me and she was totally ignoring me. She was talking to the other staff in Chinese while I was talking to her. Very rude!! No customer service at all. I asked to speak to the Manager and both ladies said they have no Manager. They can't even give me the name of their Manager. What kind of business is this?!!! read more

This restaurant should be closed down. I ordered some takeout and I got so sick 10 minutes after eating, when I mentioned it to some friends they all told me they got sick from the food there. The food is pretty good (except the fried rice)! We ordered 3 entrees (sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, and beef and broccoli), crab Rangoon's, and the chow mein. I asked for extra soy sauce (we've ordered here previously and they gave me one soy sauce and they keep them behind the counter so you can take them yourself) they gave me two... two sauces for all that food. After I asked for extra they only packed two. I asked when I actually picked my food up if there was extra in there and they said yes but I asked for a few more just in case... the guy handed me 1 packet. Seriously?? POSITIVES - Clean (they were cleaning the whole place when we got there two hours before closing...) - Large portions - The rest of my party was satisfied with their food - They bring out an appetizer of fried chips and sweet and sour sauce NEGATIVES - I ordered the vegetable chow fun and was not impressed. The vegetables were fresh, but there was little flavor and the noodles were too thin and thick instead of the traditional wide and flat chow fun noodles. - I tried the hot and sour soup and it was bland and salty without the savory/sweet taste the dish usually has. - The place itself looks like a decent fast food restaurant, but one detail I raised my eyebrows at were the utensils. Despite the nice booth seating, they bring out plastic cutlery. Moreover, I've never been served water or soup in a styrofoam cup before. Not only is it terrible for the environment, but it feels incredibly cheap and negatively affects the experience of drinking. Even chains like Panda Express and McDonald's don't use styrofoam. Maybe I'm too picky, but this trashy service was disappointing after seeing the decent atmosphere. read more

I don't know what all of these bad reviews are about, but my mom and I stopped here for the first time today and both got lunch specials. They're $6 and change, come with rice, chow mein, and egg drop soup and they give you SO much food. We had multiple servers ask us if we need anything, and the gentleman at the cash register happily invited us to come back. And they deliver!! Delicious food for a great price and great customer service. They will definitely see us back soon. read more

Not good at all. Food was flavorless. Placing our order was nearly impossible due to the noise level and the person on the other end of the phone had a hard time understanding and speaking English. It is nice that they offer inexpensive delivery ($2) within 4 miles but the delivery person was just plain rude. We always try to support new restaurants, especially in South Temecula because most new places end up on the North side of town, but this place is just plain bad; Try Fanny's Wok, a 1000% better than this place. read more
