This is my favorite take out Chinese food restaurant. It is what you need for a night in and very reasonably priced. I order delivery from here, and every time they are early. It will not take longer than 45 minutes on a given day and usually will come in 30 minutes. My go-to order is General Tso's chicken and boneless spare ribs. If you get the meal, it comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I also order crab Rangoon. read more

Superfast delivery, delicious food, large portions, and great value. And the delivery guy is always super sweet.

with a couple of locations chintzy on veggies in the cooking (i.e no bean sprouts) and no real veggie entrees. Missing Chinese vegetables dish in brown or white sauce and do not have Japanese eggplant as a dish. Missing 5 spice all over the menu and the Chinese chicken. But when the General Tso tastes like sweet and sour you could chose a better Chinese Restaurant Whatever you are paying for is not Chinese Food. read more

China King - roses are red violets are blue. - Chinese Near Me - New York, New York

This Singapore chow mei fun was super spicy, taste really bland and it's dry. It smelled like curry but didn't taste too much like it. The service is ok, the delivery guy is nice but can be rude sometimes. Service can be slow depending how late you order. I order from here a lot and it's always a hit or miss. The French fries are never it always greasy or soggy, the rice is always hard which is upsetting. Overall hit or miss. read more

Solid Chinese takeout. Ordered the shrimp fried rice and beef lo mein. Food came quickly late on a Friday night and was piping hot. Exactly what we wanted! read more

This my first time ordering from here. But just based on the looks of it not good. I haven't tried it yet but we eat with our eyes. In my 30 years of dining on Chinese food have I seen a beige sauce. Well just tasted it nothing popped. It was a tough, tasteless dish. Should have stuck to what I know but I didn't order it or pay for it. It was a gifted birthday meal. This is there go to spot not mine. However thanks for the meal. read more

China King - Horrible birthday meal! - Chinese Near Me - New York, New York

No sauce/flavor in the mei fun. Dry, tasteless noodles for 12 bucks. I don't expect much from a small hole in the wall Chinese take-out, but some flavor would be helpful. read more

Ordered through the Yelp app. Was delivered within the specified window right on time. Easy to order. Thought the food was good! Also good price for the amount you got. read more

I ordered chicken chow mein and instead received an order of garlic chicken with white rice. I called the restaurant to inform them about the mix up. I was placed on hold to wait to speak to the manager. He insisted that chow mein does not come with noodles. Chow mein literally is noodles at any other restaurant. Mein means noodle in chinese. The manager insisted that I had received the correct order and did not offer compensation or a solution, instead waiting until I hung up the phone. I guess just don't come here if you want a 100% guarantee you'll get the order you want?? read more

Best Local food Take Out. Best Shrimp Continine Just like the new York days. Egg drop soup was good for my wife's cold. Thank you for making our stay in New York City great . read more

Delivery was fast, early, and the food was hot. I got the general tso chicken with brown rice, an egg roll, and pork fried rice. The chicken was okay, but it was a little dry and there could have been more sauce. The brown rice was also really dry. The pork fried rice was heaping, and tasty. The egg roll was perfect. No chopsticks, but I didn't ask for them. Also no fortune cookie? That's a first. read more

Placed an order online & I made a simple request which could not be fulfilled, mind you it was only to add extra soy sauce to my rice while preparing it because I don't like my rice bright yellow. I was contacted by the store & asked to Cancel my order because they did want to make the rice as requested . I am unsure what was so difficult about the request. read more

I have ordered food from here twice so far. Both times the chicken ended up being chewy and over cooked. We ordered the orange chicken and the General tso. The flavors and spices were there but it wasn't edible. We also ordered a pint of chicken fried rice. It had absolutely no flavor. It tasted like water. The Lo Mein was pretty good and so were the pork egg rolls. read more

My go to delivery spot ! Cheap, fast and delicious!!! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu

Best Chinese delivery in the neighborhood. Super fast delivery and dinner combos are well priced. Good always arrives piping hot. Above average roast pork lo mein which is my gold standard for rating these hole in the wall greasy spoons. read more

China King is your standard 'hood Chinese food spot that is no frills and offers bang for your buck. No, it is not gourmet cuisine however it hits the spot. Delivery is always on time and the orders are always accurate. I have been a longtime customer and will be for a longtime to come. read more

Fried rice is good, also lomian. Closed to the street and subway. Cheap and not bad. read more

The food here was amazing. Sweet and sour chicken was what i ordered and is what i got. I really liked you can add what you want as a side instead of just white rice or brown rice. Also the rove had peas in it and the sweet and sour sauce did not taste like a thick syrup. Will be ordering from here again and addimg to this review read more

I ordered pork fried rice and it was tasteless with tiny pieces of pork. Just take it out of the menu. So disappointed. read more

So bland. Service is slow. Tried this place a few times and it failed each time. This last visit...hoo boy. They took ten minutes, which was fine, til I noticed all they handed me was egg drop soup. I ordered three things. How they only made one item, who knows, but why did it take ten minutes to package up a small egg drop soup? I know they did not make it fresh to order. So I waited another ten minutes for my other bland items. And it's not just me. Every time I go in and there are other people they inquire why their order is taking so long. Once I ordered ahead of time online. Still had to wait 10 minutes. I may also be taking it out on them only because I have yet to find decent Chinese take out in East Harlem. Who knew? read more

Delivery man was so nice (greeted me with a hi mama!), food came early, order was correct and everything is hot and delicious. Ordered the General Tso chicken (added the spicy option and it's actually the perfect amount of spice) pork fried rice, egg roll, and Chinese donuts. Finally found my Chinese food spot. read more

This is my go-to when I crave Chinese (which is maybe too often). Never matters what I order because everything is always tasteful (general Tso's chicken, chicken or shrimp with broccoli, shrimp lo mein, etc.) I can literally go on and on but this review will be too long and no will read it through. I have been through, at other places, ordering experiences over the phone that were not so friendly to say the least....however CK is a rare breed indeed. Always nice, quick, and easy over the phone and they never rush to hang up when you're about to ask the price (like at other places in the neighborhood). Deliveries are always on time and even the delivery guys are friendly which is a plus! AND they never forget your free soda if the order is more than $10. Some other restaurants try to be sneaky and "don't remember" if you don't remind them yourself. read more

Not very memorable Chinese food. However, in this neighborhood, one might be hard pressed to find better. My kung pao pork was fine, but there was nothing remarkable about it. The pork was plentiful and had some flavor. The vegetable selection was mixed and included mushrooms, baby corn, bamboo shoots, green peppers, celery, and onions. They weren't overcooked, and everything was coarsely chopped for efficiency. There was no heat though which was unfortunate. Also, while not an issue for me, I found the portion of rice to be comically too much. The egg roll I had was decent. Everything is pretty inexpensive here, so it is an acceptable choice for its convenience. read more

Do you ever take a vacation day just to spend it laying in bed eating a ton of food? I did that today. And it was awesome thanks to the delicious, affordable, prompt, friendly China king. I had/have for tomorrow veg Lo mein, dumplings, and general tso tofu....all very delicious and very cheap. read more

I've ordered from here twice, both delivery. The bad thing is that you have to order at least $12-15 worth of food before they deliver so if you're ordering for yourself you should consider that. Other then that, the portions are HUGE. I ordered the smallest size of everything and it all came in quart size containers, probably because everything major items comes paired with rice. The food is pretty good. The only thing I would note is that the sesame chicken and chinese donuts are a little dry, but still good enough to eat. I will be ordering from here again. read more

I'm Not a fan of Chinese food like at all and will only eat it if it's super late in the night and obviously if Your a New Yorker you know that Chinese restaurants stay open the latest for delivery. Called this place the lady was rude for starters and two when I got my food it was just disgusting I got veg lo mein .. the noodles bland vegetables soggy and the fried chicken did not taste fresh at all even when I added salt and pepper this shit was still not my cup of tea. I don't know how this place has so many good reviews! NEVER AGAIN read more

This is the chinese delivery place I've been SEARCHING for!!!!!!!! The orange chicken was delicious. A little bit spicy but I loved that about it. The white rice was the perfect amount of sticky and the chewiness was perfect. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken that was delicious. The first time our food was delivered they forgot the sauce, so we gave them a call, and about 10 minutes after we called they were at our door again with a huge thing of sweet and sour sauce, along with MORE sweet & sour chicken apologizing profusely. He was so so kind and it was very obvious that customer service is important to them. Needless to say, next time we want to order chinese food, we won't think twice about ordering from China King again!!!! :) read more

It's my neighborhood Chinese takeout place! It's open 7 days a week. It has tofu in Spanish Harlem. What more can you want. Plus, it's huge portions for under $10. Cheap and tastey. What more do you want? Vegetarian (vegan?) options read more

Ordered from here for the first time today, delivery was prompt and courteous. Food more than acceptable, considering Manhattan Chinese fast food. Had the orange chicken and young chow fried rice, plenty of leftovers for another day. Very pleased, will definitely order from here again. read more

Terrible. The food was horrible, flavorless and very salty. I will never order from here again.

We ate there yesterday night 10pm, they don't deserve the 3.5 stars, dumplings are great. There a crazy chick at the cashier laughing and singing but she's funny! That place is not sexy at all but cheap good and convenient ! read more

I ordered for delivery from China King, man on the phone seems very busy while taking order so I guess he forget to add the extra hot sauces I requested. Fried chickens are good and price is so affordable so I really have nothing bad to say about the food. They just need to be a little more organized on their ordering system but I'll order again here and maybe I'll change the stars rating after a few more tries. read more

The delivery time, price, and most of the food was good. However, I ordered a quart of chow mein and it came as a box of vegetables in sauce with bags of crackers as the "noodle" component. I've never heard of chow mein being served like this but when I called for a refund the lady told me that she had made the order correctly. Very strange stuff. The general tso's chicken, wonton soup, garlic vegetable, and "chow mein" vegetable slop were all tasty, but I rly missed the chow mein noodles and the sweet and sour chicken had questionable breading that made it mediocre. read more

I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews! Delicious. This is my go-to Chinese delivery place. (Why look anywhere else?)
