The food was good. Basic chicken lo mein. The only issue I had is we were out shopping and wanted a place to eat before going to Ollie's next door. Didn't realize they were 95% take-out. Thankfully there was a table we could eat at, but felt like I was bothering them by eating there. I had to go back up and order a canned drink. Not bad price. Portion size is really good. You get a lot for what you pay for is really the only reason I gave it three stars. Their bourbon chicken or whatever they gave me was gross. The crab rangoons had no crab taste. The almond cookies were the only thing that was any good. read more

I FINALLY found the best takeout Chinese food here in Evansville. I got shrimp fried rice, combo fried rice, beef and broccoli & orange chicken. Everything was a 10/10. My family enjoyed everything & agreed this will be our go-to Chinese food spot. The beef and broccoli was the BEST I've ever had. Even better than when I lived in California. OK, sorry I've been gone for so long, but this place is a no go.! Don't order from them. We placed an order that was over $60 and I got half cooked chicken wings and in order of crab Rangoon's that have absolutely zero crab in them I can overlook at that what I can't overlook is when my husband is placing the order and the person taking the order cut you off and she speaks fluent English and then when I called to confirm that my husband's meal was made properly and I said thank you. She didn't respond you're welcome she just hung up on me then when I called to complain about the chicken wings, they were gonna give me five dollars off or I could come back in and I asked to speak with a manager she told me that they didn't speak fluent English and that he probably wouldn't understand me and I asked well. Is there somebody there that can interpret what I said and she told me she could well I was calling to complain about her and the food, my daughter got egg drop soup that looks like slime and when she ate it, she got sick. She ordered dumplings that taste like fish. She said this place used to be good. Used to be our number one spot when they opened but now they just flat out suck so maybe she can interpret this to the owner. I'm a firm believer that if you're gonna open a business, you should at least know the language so you can talk to your customers when they have a problem or a compliment this however, was just completely unacceptable so fire or beware. Start off with a packed place ( 10 people) because 2 elderly ladies ordered about 20 takeouts, were paying for each one with separate cards, no one else would tend to the other folks who stood there for 20-30 minutes while their lunches were sitting and getting cold. My first time here, so I did not know that they serve in styrofoam (enough right there to make it my last trip, who wants to ingest melted foam?). Get plenty of food, I ordered Gen Chk, and it's enough for 2 meals. The food tastes like buffet, not horrible, but definitely not worth a return trip. The fact that they cant handle a small crowd at lunch was enough for me to go elsewhere. We have always been a huge fan of China King for years but the last 2 times we have received overcooked crab Rangoon that was like chewing a cheese all in concrete and the general Sol chicken tasted like pure vinegar. Not sure if it's a new cook or what but it will be a while before I spend $80 again for sub par food read more

Fast service. No MSG!!! That's really important. Had hot and sour soup (not that hot), egg drop soup (very good), crab rangoon (a sweeter filling), egg rolls (good and crispy), fried rice, general Tso's chicken and sweet and sour chicken. All food was hot and tasty. Will go back!!!! read more

We tried the Vegetable Lo Mein, Beef & Broccoli, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Sweet & Spicy Pork, Pork Egg Rolls and subbed white rice for Vegetable Fried Rice & Pork Fried Rice. The entrees did not disappoint -- so flavorful, great balance of meats and veggies, plus the portions were enough for leftovers! One comment the bf had was that the Sweet & Spicy pork was a little sweeter than he'd have liked but that it was still tasty (just a note if this is your jam, too). Delivery was fast, employees on the phone and delivery driver were friendly, and food arrived hot and fresh tasting. We also received a 2021 New Years calendar -- something that the restaurants near my childhood home used to do and it was just a nice touch of nostalgia :) 10/10 will order again! read more

9 times out of 10 there online ordering system does not work... this is very irritating. I just called and ordered $50.00 worth of food for delivery... they said it will take almost 2 hours to get to me. Because we think the food is delicious, we decided that this was okay. When it came time for our total they say that it has to be cash only and that they do not take a credit card number over the phone. They do not accept checks. They only accept cash today. One day they take a credit card, the next day they don't. This is stupid and they just lost out on a $50 order and the driver lost out on a $10 tip. Their loss, not mine. Get food elsewhere if you decide to eat Chinese. They need to learn how to run a business first before they can even begin to think about selling product. read more

Close by in a shopping center. I have eaten here a few times. I have tried a few dishes I just wish they dishes that are labeled spicy actually had a kick to them. The hot and sour soup is actually really good. On most nights they are busy. They have a small in dining area. The pictures as a menu I'm afraid don't match what they put out. If they would actually put more bite to their spicy I would give a higher rating till then they are a 3 in my book. read more

Seeing the good rating, I thought these reviews were full of it, and I was correct. I ordered Szechuan chicken, and what I got was nothing at all what Szechuan should look like or taste like. It was bland, runny, and barely spicy at all. Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Albeit I did live in China for a while so I know American Chinese food is different, but this is just bad. Only reason I ate it was because I had nothing else to eat. Also, I got this food for delivery, and the delivery came with no napkins and no chopsticks! What?! Wonderful lunch experience!! Just came from there - they have the largest egg rolls in town, the Wa Po To Fu was great - just spicy enough, but not overpowering. The Fried Rice was a surprise, with just the right amount of sprouts... Going back there as soon as I can! read more
