I can confirm that later at night there isn't much fresh food put out. I agree with the lower rated reviews. Our drinks needed a redo because the flavored soda ran out. They were promptly replaced. A couple items we're better tasting than some other chinese buffets, but the majority were not. Big disappointments in General Tso, egg rolls, cream cheese ragoon, Hawaiian chicken, and dumpling. This place isn't the greatest place to eat in reasons why: first of all the service was horrible first she/he made us repeat what we wanted when she has a paper in her hand for a reason. Next there were 11 plates stacked before she/he cAme for it, 11! Next the food wasn't bad or good before we found a piece of long hair in the chicken! This place is pretty good, they have great food many to chose from and the staff there are so nice even when busy they still make it to every table. The building in general is in pretty good shape and there's lots of places to sit and eat and the big enough for a larger family. read more

I can always find good food here. Some of it all tastes the same but appreciate the fresh vegies, and other choices besides fried food.

Decent Chinese food for the price. For a buffet, it is a notch above the rest. I would return again sometime. However, compared to the other Chinese buffets in the area, my husband and I both prefer the Chinese Buffet in Cloquet (Hong Kong Restaurant). I was surprised to see "crab legs", we didn't try them, but thought that was distinctive. They offered a limited selection of sushi, which on the onset looked delightful. But on second glance was not fresh (and the wasabi was squeezed out from a ketchup style bottle - odd). read more

Cleanest Asian buffet I have ever been to. Food was hot & always refilled right away. Except the Salt & Pepper Pork was bland, as well as the sweet and sour chicken. The ice cream machine was out on the floor but the was empty & broken. The servers were quick to pick up our plates, maybe even TOO quick! 5% charge for waste of food. Does Big K even exist anymore in the real world? Well, here it does. So....run down strip mall, place looks like it would be abandon, but open the doors and see all the people. This place is packed! Inside is your typical Asian restaurant, three buffet tables to pick from. Everything you can imagine is on these tables. Fried everything. Price is $9.50 per person and comes with a drink. This place... while the food is not bad.. is WAY overpriced! $12 for lunch on a Saturday??? I've seen that on a weekend evening, due to crab legs or something. But we did not expect this. We saw on a to go menu that lunch price was somewhere around $8. When we got the ticket it was $12!!! And my 10 year old, was also charged full price of an adult as well. I've NEVER been charged full price for her. We had to ask our server multiple times for a drink refill, and she NEVER brought it. We had to go get it ourselves. Save yourself some $$!! Great place to eat but our last experience was atrocious when our waitress sat us near two women who farted and belched through their whole meal! it was sickening and gross. We definitely are going to ask for a different place to sit if we ever see these two pigs in there again. read more

Buffet is buffet, but I will say that I am biased, coming from Madison, Wisconsin. First impression beyond the depressed neighborhood and the drab scenery, save for the hill, the teenage kid at the front counter apparently cannot smile and is impatient. Somewhat rude. I wanted to see if I can get something to go. What I was told is that it was $12... and, you guessed it, the container was small. Well. More like between a small and medium, because it was shallow. At this price, it is a rip off as far as buffet goes. The food was only so-so. I had the stuffed seafood, which had a rather bland gooey taste (and was it really stuffed?). The general tso, which had a decent enough crunch, was not spicy and Im not sure what chicken meat was used. The chicken and mushroom was good but very salty. The rice noodles were soggy and broke apart. The spring roll was okay enough with sauce. The fried breaded shrimps where average. The egg rolls were a tad soggy. Oh, and the sushi roll bits - dont bother. Especially because the wasabi they offer is in a plastic bottle and SUPER watery. Not to mention tasteless. And for sauces, one packet of soy was left.
