My mom ended up throwing out her dinner before I was able to take a pic. We ordered food that totaled 94.00. We all got combination platters which were ok. My mom's specifically, the boneless spare rib combo was the one we had issues with. The rib pieces were so over done and dry that she couldn't even chew them. I had been ordering from China King for the past 3-4 years since I've moved here. Please check my other reviews to know that I am fair in my statements. This is possibly the worst place to eat in all of Burlington County. I only allowed myself to be a customer for so long because they had allowed ordering via their website. They like many businesses have a delivery charge, but they will use it as a means to make more money. The example I have of this is the situation that broke the camel's back for me and this business. I had ordered online and stated we would be coming to pick up the food. As I was out the door the driver pulled up with my food. I had told him we stated we would be picking up our order, as we would be out for a little while and wanted to avoid the delivery charge. He essentially stated, well I'm here, pay up. I told him to continue onto his next delivery and then come back to me so I can settle this problem with the store. I called the store and said we did not want delivery and did not want to be charged for it. He said he would not remove the charge. I told him fine, but have the driver meet me at the store as I am in town right now, which he agreed to. My cousin & I had been on our way to the store when our landlord called saying the driver was back and complaining that we left and hadn't been there to pay for and receive the food. I told her to instruct him to return to the store. When he arrived at the store I was greeted by physical threats, cursing, and a variety of F Bombs. I will admit that at this point we told the owner we no longer wanted the food due to the behavior shown during this transaction. He stated he had already charged our card and would not give us a refund. In fairness he did not have a nasty tone while doing this, but tone be damned. We now order from another local chinese eatery and I wouldn't order from here ever again. read more

We have been ordering from China King weekly for about 3 years. We usually order the lunch specials and add an app. to reach the min. balance to use the coupon. While more expensive than the place closer to me, they deliver which is really handy when wrangling kids come lunch time. More than once we put up with our food arriving hours late and all the penny pinching that normally comes as part of the order with other restaurants (fried noodles, extra soy,chopsticks)because it was utterly convenient. I reached my limit today when they called 5 times in four minutes to tell me the coupon would no longer be applied to lunch. I had hoped that since they honored it in the past, they would excuse my not knowing of the new policy as I already placed, and was charged for the order. So on top of the fee for ordering online, the fee for the chopsticks and extra soy, and above the 3 dollar delivery fee that reads 2 dollars on the website when you are ordering, now I would have to remove the app and change my lunch specials to include the soda and eggroll I normally got for free. While holding a screaming baby who was woken then bothered by the numerous calls, I really couldn't be bothered to work with someone who was not willing to work with a long time customer. The second to last call, I told them to refund my card, that our business is concluded. The last call, I repeated my request and told them to stop calling because they were upsetting my baby and that I planned to Yelp my experience. A few months ago, we received our order 2 hours late and the manager offered us a free meal next time. We placed another order the following week no one knoew anything about it. My husband called and spoke to the manager and he said we could have it next time. The next time he said our order was too much (around 23 dollars) as we only ordered 20 last time. I assured him I would be glad to pay the extra three dollars. He asked if I wanted to add a tip. I did not Yelp about it then, because I value long term relationships with people I trust to make food for my kids. I told him I used to tip the driver 5 dollars, but now that 3.50 was automatically added for transportation expenses, I would not be giving him 8.50 per every two 6 dollar meals I was ordering on top of all the nickle and diming. We hung up what I hoped was the final time, but he called again. I did not pick up. We called Lim Fong's, got the same two, better tasting lunch specials, app, and coupon and wound up saving the cost of a whole other special. My son trotted down the street to get it so I gave him the money we saved instead. From now on, we will give Lim Fong's our 1,040 dollars a year. read more

Only have experience with their delivery, which is absolutely FANTASTIC! Always fast, always hot, fresh, delicious food. Their online ordering is super simple, and even gives you the option to create your own platter and add special remarks to your dishes. I'm quite partial to the lo mein and General Tso's chicken, and the fried wontons in garlic sauce are always a tasty addition. The only Chinese food place around that delivers! I understand the $2 fee because many people don't tip and it is a good ten minute drive away so I don't see an issue with that. I love ordering online and that the food is here 15-30 mins after ordering. On a busy night maybe 40 mins tops.
