We called ahead and asked if the lunch Buffet was open. COVID requires calling in advance. We were told it was open and on till 3. We drove the 25 minutes to get there. Arrived at 210 and were told the lunch buffet was no longer open. Despite the sign on the door saying till 3:00pm and our call head to confirm. This is absurd. read more

We love stopping in at different chinese food places. This one had a few bad reviews but I really don't see why. We have been there on 2 different occasions & and the food & service was excellent. Considering the hostess/tablebusser/waitress/cashier is worked to death she has always been very polite & nice to us. The food is limited but wonderful & fresh. I have not been there many times but it was at 2 different times of the day & the food was always fresh. NOT like some around our own hometown where the lunch buffet has made it through the dinner buffet & is hard & crusty. NOT so with this place it is always fresh & wonderful! read more

I placed an order through DoorDash. We have ordered from China House before but this order smelled bad and tasted off. My response on DoorDash to the meal was..."ewe!" DoorDash refunded me for the meal. I was then contacted by the restaurant telling me to provide a detailed response to my review or else I'd have to pay for the meal again. I ignored this email. The restaurant contacted me AGAIN and accused me of just wanting a free meal. BEYOND unprofessional and unacceptable. I always looked over the fact that this place is a bit grungy and dirty because it seemed they had somewhat decent food. But after the food being bad and the treatment from the restaurant employees/owner or whatever, soooooo not worth it! Stay clear of this mess! read more

I should have looked at reviews first- do not go here! My daughter and I went to have soup and maybe an appetizer. We sat down ordered a water and waitress said help yourself- we both went to Buffet searching for items. No soup- cold crab Rangoon and that was all we could find. I took one plate and they charged me for two people - after I told them what was on my plate and my daughter tried like one crab Rangoon- 25.50 was the charge -complete joke- owner and staff RUDE- and no common sense. Children were sitting rolling food without gloves. This place should not serve food. Below temp food held for hours and children as unsanitary workers. Yuck! read more

Employees are extremely courteous. The food is exactly what you find at any Chinese buffet. It is always hot and empty or near empty items are promptly filled. Flavor is great. Really enjoy their Friday and Saturday dinner items. read more

China House has a full time buffet. Lots of choices, but it is buffet food. If you want to sample lots of things, they have them. Food is tasty and the staff fills empty trays as they need to be filled. Price is a bit higher than other Chinese buffets, but worth a try. read more

The staff are very very! Impolite, at one point I'm pretty sure there where trash talking me in Chinese. Food was way overpriced - almost $13 for adult buffet. No senior citizen discount. No advertised prices anywhere. Dined there today (Sunday evening) and the food choices was not great (horrible when you consider the price). The buffet was not adequately stocked. The waitress / cashier was very indifferent. The temperature controls on the outside wall of the private dining area looked like it hasn't been cleaned in decades (grease and grime on the controls). Some food labels at the buffet were missing or misrepresented. Will not eat here again and will recommend that others avoid eating here. read more

Wanted to order off menu for lunch as the buffett didn't look appetizing was told it would take at least 45 minutes to get the steamed dumplings and spring roll by the waitress, cook came out and said everty thing is made fresh and so the long wait, REALLY seems they wanted the buffett food to go first, been in the food business for over 40 years and have eaten at many Chinese establishments never heard such a thing, Moral is don't order off the menu unless you have 2 hours to wait read more
